Cons: Not for gaming, runs hot, NO HDMI ouput

Pros: fanless design, silent, easy to install
Comment:
I personally love this affordable video card. It's fanless and therefore makes little noise and it does what most casual computer users need. It plays videos at HD and does the basic features right. The only downside is that there is no HDMI output. this isn't really a concern for computer monitors but it's mostly for people who use LCD TVs or want to assemble an HTPC

keeps crashing with gray screen with lines in it. needs bios flash and a company that can make drivers that work this problem has been out since jan. 2010 as far as i can tell. problem is with all 4000 & 5000 series cards so if yours works feel lucky unless this is fixed very soon i will go back to nvidia Geforce

Cons: none

Pros: XFX double lifetime warrantys-video out
Comment:
Got this basic video card to go with Gigabyte GA-770TA-UD3 motherboard which does not have on-board video. Works great, no issues. It has a s-video out which is why i chose it as opposed to hdmi out.

Runs most games at decent fps on lower quality settings up to 1280x1024 not bad for the price at all.

Unfortunately ATI drivers for ubuntu are not very good. video was super flickery and blue tinted. 3d effects were okay, but nothing to brag about. I managed to get things to work pretty well after installing latest drivers manually, but that is no simple thing - simpler just to go with an Nvidia card

I've owned this card for about a week now, and it works just fine. Only problem was with the CD drivers. For some reason they would not load from the CD, but no problem as I just got the updated drivers from the AND/ATI website. I am using this with an Acer X1200 slim-type computer, and it fits perfectly, runs a little warm (but, so does the computer itself), but not a huge problem. I would recommend this card for light gaming and just an improvement over onboard graphics. Good value, and they delivered it within 3 days.

obviously its a good price for a graphics card but you get what you pay for. vga and s-video share one video channel so you'd need a dvi-vga adapter to run a clone to the tv. also card couldn't handle streaming mlb.tv on the highest quality which is not at all impressive. other than that fine card

I bought this simply for adding a second monitor to a system and for forty bucks: WOW! Who can complain? The displays are brighter and crisper than ever. I can't attest to gaming with this card, but I can for daily use, drawing, crunching video seems fine, no complaints here at all. Get your self one; You won't be sorry!!!

I do not know how this card is handled by other OSes, but linux drivers for this card are poorly supported, as of Ubuntu release 9.04. I cannot use this card for the sole purpose it was purchased for: watching 1080p video. The drivers ATI put out can't play video or get the resolution correct. Using free drivers, I can play up to 720p but I cannot use hardware acceleration.

Not a bad card for the price. Crossfire compatible, and 512mb helps with the games that are out there(works well with WOW). All in all a good card. Recommend for Low to Mid gaming setups...unless you plan to Crossfire.

i love this card. i ordered it form TD and i came in 2 days! this card is really nice. I replace an old nvidia geforce 7600 GS OC. Bought this card so i could play Medal of Honor Airborne with all high settings, and because i wanted to be able to play Call of Duty 5. Ill mention that as soon as i buy the game. but ya for pricewise this card cant be beat. (sure crysis is nice, but i wan to keep my home if u know what i mean. overall an amazing card(really small). I reccomend this to anyone who needs a new graphics card.

Just got this card today and so far so good. Replaced an EVGA GeForce8400 256mb that died...noisy fan on that unit, might get warranty on it. Bumped Windows Experience from 3.2 to 4.2 (The GeForce only bumped it to 3.4). Easy install. Silent. Works with my current power supply. I don't do heavy gaming so can't speak to that. An unexpected surprise is that now my built in TV tuner (random no-name card included on a Gateway GM5442) works for more than 5 min without dieing. Evidently there were driver conflicts with the tuner and both my on-board video and the nVidia GeForce card. We'll see how a fanless GPU holds up, but with XFX lifetime warranty and priced at about $40 it seemed worth a gamble.
