Cons: making a hissing sound, might be caused by other parts

Pros: small, energy efficient for its performance and *life-time warranty*
Comment:
My old agp card broke. Got this as a replacement and to extend its life for a year or two to play sc2. Had a bit of damage to the deceptively small packaging, but the card works fine. I haven't run anything with really high requirements, just wc3, and it does its job fine. The tower is barely warm when running and I have no fans installed. The life-time warranty is what set this apart from the other cards. You may say it will be obsolete in a few years. That may be so, but my parents sure wouldn't mind having a computer that have a decent vid card when it's time for me to replace my PC.

Cons: Only has DDR2

Pros: Quiet, stylish, and cost effecive!

I got this card for my girlfriend last month because I killed her HD 2600. She likes to play L4D, Oblivion, and DoD. This card ran them all very nicely on good settings with her P4 3.2. She even got the L4D2 Demo, and it runs great! I would recommend this card if you still like to play games, and are too lazy to upgrade the whole computer.

Cons: I keep on upgrading my aged P4 agp systemDrivers

Pros: $80Brings new life into an old systemKiller card for a prehistoric agp slot
Comment:
Couldn't install the drivers for this card initially, my system kept on hard locking, then I unplugged the molex power connector fired up the rig and voila system ran fine and drivers installed without a hitch. I then shut down the system reconnected the power and it's been zipping along since . Games play a lot better and video looks great. Coming from a Radeon 9000 atlantis a great upgrade for agp.

Cons: Like all ATI cards in AGP bus in the 2000 or higher series the driver support is very weak.

Pros: AGP card with a newer chipset and high RAM
Comment:
I must be a glutton for punishment, as I keep buying AGP cards long after it should be a dead format (I know, it is, it is). This card has a newer chipset and a decent amount of RAM (albeit only DDR2), so it's great for games with large textures (Flight Simulator X for instance). However, the driver support is very weak. The driver included on the CD is a Release Candidate (RC) driver which is many revisions out of date. Presently neither the official ATI Catalyst drivers nor the AGP Hotfix drivers will install for this card (the AGP hotfix is presently for 2000 and 3000 series cards, http://support.amd.com/us/kbarticles/Pages/CatalystAGPHotfix.aspx). As a result I had to hack the driver .inf file and force Windows to install it as if it were the PCI-E version of the card, which has been stable so far, but is by no means optimal.Bottom line: Know your way around the drivers before purchasing.
