Got this card for the my second system. I had the 8600GTS, was a definite step up. Still around 70 fps in COD:MW2 on medium settings. I would definitely recommend this card for its price.

Handles everything I throw at it with no problem. A little louder than I wanted it to be, but it's a only a fan making noise. I do not care about the noise of a fan.

I upgraded from an old GeForce 7600GT, and this is well worth the price. The card installed without any problems, and runs everything fantastically. I'm also glad to say that it doesn't have any alleged problems that some other XFX cards do. One thing to note is the card itself is physically large, and uses a 6-pin PCIe power adaptor so be sure to take that into consideration when purchasing.

This graphics card is a very amazing product. It surpasses other graphics cards in the 200$ range when overclocked. However, with the basic ATI software, it is only able to overclock to 830 MHz GPU and 850 MHz Memory clock. So third party softwares are needed to get to he 938 MHz GPU and 1000 MHz memory clock it can reach while being reliable and stable. The card is very energy efficient, and when gaming, the fan and heat sink are able to keep the card relatively cool.

I bought two of these card for CrossfireX to replace a Zotac 9800GT and the difference is phenomenal. These are indeed HD cards and awesome for gaming or performance. P.S.: If you are buying for Crossfire, these cards do not come with a bridge.

I was looking for the best video card to upgrade my older Pentium D system without spending a lot of $$$. For the money you can't beat the features and performance. Be aware this card takes up two expansion slots and requires a 6-pin PCIe connnection from your power supply. The graphics are amazing! There are better video cards out there but not at this price range.

My main considerations were dual DVI and 512 MB VRAM while selecting a card. The exhaust to the back of the case, DDR5, 40 nm GPU are great bonuses. Worked great for me so far. Had a classically found spin-up-down problem when I first installed, but that was easily fixed via a promptly delivered BIOS update. You're getting what you pay for, a card that can run most games well.. and doesn't have performance issues. Drives my dual monitor setup easily, and what games I've thrown at it so far.

Probably best card you can get for price. if you real gamer then you should double up other than that it can run mw2, bad company 2, l4d2, starcraft 2 and almost if not all games medium or high settings with no lag. windows experience index rates it 7.2

I bought this video card a month back, and I'm still constantly amazed at the performance per dollar this card has. I can run most games at high or max (e.g. every Total War game on max, GTA IV, and most shooters on high or max) with little or no lag. For some reason, my card runs a little hot at around 60 celsius at idle, but that's because i have a mini atx with no airflow at all. All in all, this card is an amazing deal.

Perfect for the occasional gamer looking for a good card without the premium price. Upgraded from a Nvidia 7600GT and I can now play all the latest games at high with a little overcloking on my 4 years old desktop. Runs cool... No HDMI adapter though...

Cons: Somewhat loud PWN fan.More expensive and slower than HD4850 at stock speeds.

Pros: Performance, overclock-ability and brand.GDDR5.Lifetime warranty.
Comment:
Bought this based on internet reviews for this card and I needed something that was fast but not running as hot, loud and power consuming as the HD4850's. This card runs about 95% in par with the HD4850 at stock speeds of 800/850 but when overclocked with voltage mod o 1000/1050 combined with an Arctic Cooling Accelero L2 Pro this baby beats a max overclocked HD4850 and runs way more quiet, coooler and at just about 100 watts. I now get a 40% gain in average FPS in all my games, this is now my favorite card since my 6600GT back in 2K6. Cons: Fan can get loud (but this varies from your settings)

Pros: Affordable, cooling fan, fast and great tech support.
Comment:
This is the first video card I've purchased from NCIX (and any other store) in the past 3-4 years. This is a great card for the price, but I would suggest getting the 4850 instead because it's price right around this card and is slightly better (I didn't do my research well enough when I bought this card). In any case this card performs well and handles most games quite good and should last about 1-2 years. The only game I play is BC2 so I'll be satisfied for this card for years to come until DICE release BC3.As far as the card itself, it runs cool and quiet. The fan can be modified with the right ATI drivers so the user has complete control on how fast they want to run it. The card also overclocks well. Overall I'm very pleased with the purchase. Buy this card (or the 4850) now while the price is right.

Cons: NCIX shipped it to my old address, regardless that I have informed them to ship to my new address which is also my billing address. They promised to ship to my address but apparently they didn't. Cost me transportation and another 2 days waiting.

Pros: No complaint about the card. Stably OC to 830MHz in Win7 32-bit. WEI 7.3 for desktop and 3-D performances. Manual Fan Control is capable using Catalyst Control Center.
Comment:
Have used the card for about a week. The card performance has meet my expectation. Not happy with the NCIX service. I will probably consider buying same stuff from Newegg.ca next time. Newegg never let me down.

For the $120 I paid for this card when I bought it a few months ago it was well worth the money, and it's even more worth the $99 it's going for now. I upgraded to this from a Radeon 9250 Pro.. The performance is outstanding!

Cons: Doesn't include crossfire bridge, you need to buy it if you want to Crossfire a second hd4770 (as I know XFX includes that piece with these cards).

Pros: good pricecomes with one DVI-to-VGA adapterpackaging was ok

Pros: Great performance for the price
Comment:
I wanted a card to get me into some newer games without breaking the bank. This card while not as powerful as the latest and greatest seems to be the best balance between performance and cost.
