Cons: -Not as good as 5870 or 5970 but that's obvious

Pros: -High frame rates-Runs at a cool temperature-Looks great
Comment:
Bought this card for when Battlefield Bad Company 2 came out for its DirectX 11 capabilities. Not only does it run the game extremely well at max settings, it also runs at a cool temperature. I can touch it with my hand and it doesn't seem warm at all.I would recommend it to friends and family!Processor: AMD Phenom II X 4 955 Black Series Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-MA790XT-UD4P Graphics Card: XFX ATI Radeon 5850 Black SeriesPower Supply: Corsair TX850W Hard Drive: Western Digital 1TB Black Series Hard DriveRam: G.SKILL 2X4GB 1600mhz DDR3 in Dual ChannelOperating System: Windows 7 64 bitCase: Antec 300 Accessories: 5 exterior fans and a fan controller

Cons: -These things are getting too big-Expensive

Pros: -HDMI, Display Port and 2x DVI-It's a monster-Double life time warranty
Comment:
Bought this for a friend's gaming rig. He's been out of the PC game for a while and was shocked at how big these things have gotten. The value of the card isn't great but I would rather put the money in the GPU then the CPU, RAM or motherboard. He's gaming at 1920x1200 and nothing is stopping this thing.

Cons: Glitchy Driver - Fixed With Patch From ATI

Pros: SpeedFeaturesCost-to-Performance Ratio
Comment:
This is a fantastic performing card for the money (pricematch is your friend!). I moved up from a 4870 Radeon and the difference is noticeable. This card is hard to beat when you look at the price to performance ratio. Only problem I had was a glitchy driver (this is a new card, after all) but a patch from ATI released a week after I built my new machine fixed it perfectly. After that the ghosting and tearing problem went away.Excellent card. Highly recommended. More great quality from XFX.

Cons: Hard to come by these days

Pros: Great bang for the buckRelatively Quiet Low Temperatures
Comment:
Overall very impressed with this card. I have been playing all my games with solid 60 fps with all settings maxed out. The card is running cool and has had no problems so far. Will eventually get another when the price and availability are more reasonable.

Cons: ATI catalyst control center is just ok

Pros: Very good performance, stays amazingly cool
Comment:
I bought this card after the geforce 250 OC didnt do it for me. Even the geforce 275 and 285 is overrated. This card is amazing! ATI is the way to go in my opinion. Dont see any major difference either between the more expensive 5870. This black edition plays everything on ultra high! Love it

Already owned the 5850 so I got the Black Editon for the membership perks! :)Seriously, I got it to CrossfireX with my standard 5850 card. All I have to say is wow! CrossfireX two of these cards and you will rock any game that you throw at them! For instance: 1680 x 1050 res. I was a little gun shy about using two of them with 1650 x 1050 res and thought that I would not see that differences that I have seen.Running one card is nice but putting 2 of these together almost doubles your fps!I am using them on a MSI 790FX-GD70 motherboard that I also purchased from NCIX.Are there better cards out there, yup, but these 5850's run great and are hard working low temp work horses!
