Cons: When I first purchased this product the driver support was quite sub-par, and the size of the card is kinda overwhelming if you never handled one before.

Pros: Takes every game you can throw at it and mops the floor with it!
Comment:
Purchased this card as I caught myself reading the glorified benchmarking charts constantly on Tomshardware and Guru3D, wasn't overall impressed until they came out with some serious firepower of drivers being the 10.2's.Now with that being said I any game I've put to the test of benchmarking or casual playing has been overall a amazing experience. If you have the money to spare pick even with the price still remaining at $800 solid, it's going to give you the bang for your bucks there is no question and for a LONG time by the looks of things.

Cons: update  drivers ASAP (will idle at 60-70 degrees without new drivers). Also seems to have slow alt+tabbing issues with the new starcraft 2 video game. Expensive as the normal version (non-black edition is out of stock) Also seems to have a problem with sleep mode. I'm using windows 7 64 bit and when the computer goes to sleep mode, it will randomly not wake up and sometimes requires a random amount of restarting the computer for anything to even show up on the computer.

Pros: Very fast and huge. A dual GPU graphics card.
Comment:
Overall fast, but few issues with alt+tabbing in starcraft 2 (extremly slow), and not waking up in sleep mode.EDITED: September 20th;Submitted ticket to xfx support. Conclusion is that my card is defective. Will update   when got a response. Cons: drivers have been the source of a few issues but nothing they haven't fixed already.

Pros: UBER FAST!!!, very cool/quiet
Comment:
Bought this to replace my powercolor 4890pcs+ which i had 2 in crossfire, and the performance difference was very noticeable, would definitely recommend to anyone who needs some serious graphics power that's still cool and quiet at the same time.

I was extremely fortunate to get one of these cards when an extra was in stock. Many people had been waiting for long time to get 5870 and 5970 cards but I was lucky and did not have to wait at all. This is a big card, just slightly over 12 inches long. I had thought it would fit without any issue into my Raven RV-02 case, but it turned out I had to remove a case fan to fit it in. I feel that almost everyone who gets this card will face some minor challenge when mounting it. Build quality on the card is excellent. It feels very solid. The first thing I noticed after powering up was the improved image quality of the Windows 7 OS. Small text and colours appear improved over my previous card (GTX 260). This was an unexpected benefit. What can I say about gameplay with this card. COD MW2 is at the maximum framerate at all times (they have it capped at 91 now). CS:S maxes out at 295 FPS. Crysis seems effortless. This is how playing these games should be. Everything I play feels silky smooth.I can absolutely recommend this card. I would suggest you consider a case that is built to dissipate heat (I can recommend the Raven RV-02 despite the fan issue), and also consider a power supply that has the wattage/amperage to run this thing.

Cons: little pricey but worth it

Pros: tons of poweroverclocking
Comment:
waiting for the black version was worth it (some people don't think it's worth it) vs the plain hd 5970haven't had a single problem with the card , overclocks to 965/1360 with the stock cooler (using the xfx voltage tweak program)the ek waterblock is a fantastic cooling upgrade for this card
