Cons: - None unless you want to save 10$ on the enclosure by cutting a hole behind a cheap usb enclosure and use a (Sata to eSata) cable. That's what I was doing before we could get eSata enclosure at 30$. It used to be almost twice more few years ago!

Pros: - Finaly an enclosure with both USB and eSata without breaking the bank. Was 30$ once price-matched.- Looks great, easy to mount the HDD...
Comment:
I bought this for someone. It's very good and for barrely anything more than USB only enclosure, you get the much faster eSata.

Cons: - Few video glitches

Pros: - Works with Videotron SA 8300HD+ PVR eSATA port- Good price (when on sale)- No fan for quiet operation (aluminum casing)
Comment:
I had some problems with a WD DVR expander when my Videotron (Quebec) PVR shuts down. It doesn't recognize the expander when it wakes up. So, I had to reset the PVR by pulling out the power plug to get it work. With this enclosure and a WD 640GB 7200RPM, it was nearly flawless without any strange bug. The few glitches are the picture froze sometimes and there's some mosaic on the video but it is very rare. Overall, very very satisfied!

Cons: None really

Pros: Sturdy and Clean cut

Constructed well, with nice connectivity. e-sata is great, you won't want to go back to USB after. Gets a lot of use and has not let me down.

Got this together with a Seagate 1TB drive for a pal. No issues at all. Seems like a quality unit. May pick one up for myself soon.

Cons: The power cord is a bit short so you can't place it anywhere you want. It also could have been maybe 13mm shorter.

Pros: Solid, silent and look terrific.
Comment:
The body of this thing is made of SOLID extruded aluminum. That's right, it's made like a tank. The HDD does not touch the case directly, so there is little to no vibrations. Also, don't forget to enable AHCI : http://www.ithinkdiff.com/how-to-enable-ahci-in-windows-7-rc-after-installation/

Cons: Hideous blue LED!

Pros: Quality aluminum casingComes with eSATA cablePower switch on rear panelRemovable base allows for horizontal or vertical use
Comment:
This aluminum hard drive enclosure looks very nice, with a sort of two-tone charcoal-and-tan colour scheme. The casing does become quite warm after extended operation, which is an indication that the aluminum is doing a good job of rejecting heat.It comes with an eSATA cable, which is a nice touch. Using the eSATA connection, I get about a 50MB/s transfer rate (writing) out of my WD Green 1500. I'm pretty happy with that. One thing that really bothers me is the blue power LED. One day I may insert  a resistor into the circuit (after the warranty expires of course!) to cut down the glare. I wish manufacturers would realize that we don't need LEDs that light up an entire room to tell us that the power is on. Perhaps they should consider getting into the alternative light-bulb business. For this, I must reluctantly deduct one star. All in all, this is a very nice hard drive enclosure that you will be proud to show to all your girlfriends.

Cons: # The DC cable needs to be longer

Pros: # Solid, discreet casing# eSata ready# Adjustable plastic base# eSata/USB cables
Comment:
Before buying, make certain your motherboard supports eSata connections, and has an exterior port, or else you're confined to USB transfer speeds. The online storage, antivirus, and data recovery subscriptions are nice, though not personally useful. Otherwise, a very fine casing at a decent price.
