Cons: Fan is loud j anything above 50% , though it rarely reaches those speeds. Might be the cooling of my case, could vary.

Pros: Amazing card for the price, able to get max settings in SKYRIM and other games similar to graphics
Comment:
Great budget card to complete your system. Will probably buy another for Xfire in the future!

Cons: The HDMI port can not be activated at the same time as both DVI.

Pros: Very quietLow fan speedGreat built quality
Comment:
Bought as an upgrade to my dying 4850HD to play Diablo 3. Doing the job, maxed out every setting and the game is very fluid.I was planning on running this to my HDTV using the HDMI port but was suprised when it didn't work. After much reading it turns out you have to use the Display port with an HDMI adapter. You can use both DVI or 1 DVI + HDMI. Luckily the Catalyst Control Center make it easy to toggle using presets.

Cons: None that I can think of. Doing Crossfire can be hit or miss sometimes with older games, but that is not the manufacturer's fault, more on AMD and it's driver support. Playing LOTRO I get roughly 50fps with everything maxed, around 70fps turning Crossfire off. Crossfire seemed to work with it on earlier drivers, but that seems to have gone away with the newer releases.

Pros: I was making a return to PC gaming, but didn't want to shell out as much money as I had in the past. Was a XFX loyal in the past so I decided to stay with them moving forward (and I'd like to say that I have never experienced any of the horror stories most people talk about with XFX). As a single-GPU setup it ran well, running everything I threw at it with maybe a few tweaks. After maybe two months I couldn't stop myself from falling into old habits and upgrading again, so rather than buying a more powerful GPU I went ahead and ordered a second 6850. The two of these in Crossfire provide some amazing results, either performing the same as or better than pricier single-GPU setups (cough...GTX 580).
Comment:
I haven't attempted any OC'ing, so I can't comment on how well that works. Also didn't pay attention too much to temps either. Leaving BF3 on for an hour or two will heat my tiny room up a little bit, but haven't noticed that during any other game. The fans also aren't that bad, but that could be because my case takes that award.I easily redeemed two copies of Dirt 3 (granted, before the leak), Deus Ex, Stalker: CoP and Shogun 2 with no issues, and received both rebates within 2 months of purchase. Go XFX!

Cons: Not tested with BF3. Hate those MIRs but did get it after 90 days of sending it in.

Pros: Does what I wanted it to do ....can play online FPS game without freezing. Just have to worry about lag. XFX is right on at mailing after 90 days and I like their confirmation of MIR and approval process. Good performance so far. Can't hear any fan noise but know it's working based on fan sensor.
Comment:
For my needs, the card works well. Will buy XFX again as their MIR process is professional and dependable.

Highly recommanding this card if you don't want to spend too much money on a gaming rig.Was very happy with what I get for just $130. Size of the card is perfect, not that big would fit into most cases. The cooling fan of the card is quiet!! I can barly hear it runs while I am playing everything maxed out. Was able to handle everything I throw at it. I am thinking to get another one for crossfire since this is a very good bargain. You just can't get anything at par with Nvidia!!

Pretty good card if you're on a budget, although I would recommend the 6870, as it definitely is your bang for buck card.

Picked this card up for $120 after rebate, which is an excellent deal for a card that delivers solid performance in even the latest games. For a more budget / value-minded build, I can definitely recommend this card.

Cons: - 2 x 6-pin PCIe power connectors- fan loud under load

Pros: AMD HD6850 is a good performer that can easily handle games at nice settings on my primary 1680x1050 monitor.
Comment:
This review is definitely not a knock against the HD6850. It is the XFX implementation that is bad. A stock-clocked HD6850 should not require two 6-pin PCIe power connectors, nor should it need a fan that is so loud under load.Got it on sale at a good price, but I would not buy again, not even on sale.

Cons: - Dual Slot- Mail In Rebate

Pros: - Eyefinity- Great Price- Good performance at low resolutions- Relatively silent- Double lifetime warranty- Did I say Eyefinity?
Comment:
I bought this video card mainly for its Eyefinity capability. I do not care much about gaming as I primary use my computer for work. The card is a bit bulky and relatively short. Highly recommended if you are on a tight budget!

Cons: too loud, but fiable

Pros: very performant, scaleable
Comment:
I bought two of these and took two weeks to get the crossbridge. Not from NCIX. Once installed in a Corsiar 500r case they were just too loud. I Got two Accelero passive heatsinks to relpace the shroud/sink/fan and they run very nice now. And look awesome. Aside from the ocasioanl trouble with sone games. This setup is great to turn everything on full and just go... for $250 that seems a deal. 10 consecutive runs of furmark (max) can push the passive cooling of the top card to mid 80 degrees. Gaming the top card gets to 65 degrees. Browsing the top card is 50 degrees. The overclock is 920/1000 taking the memory to 1050 is slower in benches and is unstable at 1100. Cons: Customer Support/ WebsiteSome noise, not a huge deal

Pros: Great value for your moneySolid performanceLooks dope
Comment:
Bought this a few weeks ago as an upgrade to a 4850, for BF3 and Skyrim. Got a good deal on it as well as a MIR (although you never know with those damn things). The card performs great, runs BF3 at high to very high settings. The downsides are the crappy customer support and website. First off you can't even get a freaking manual off the website, and the CD manual link is broken. This is borderline unacceptable. I thought XFX was a decent brand for customer support. Also they never update  their website, it said that I had a free copy of Dirt 3, even though, I didn't buy it during the NCIX free dirt 3 promo time, and it said it expired at the first of August! Geez XFX, update  your stuff. Good card tho, so Im giving it 3 stars as I probably wouldn't go with XFX again. 4 stars for the Card!

Cons: - XFX videocards don't come with any accessories, but I knew this ahead of time. - Only one of the 2x DVI ports supports DVI to VGA adapters (I use 2x VGA). See summary for details.

Pros: - A really nice, fast, card. - The card is quite quiet as well. - I thought the XFX packaging was done pretty well (kept the card safe during shipping). - Free Dirt3 code that actually worked. See summary for details.
Comment:
In-game visuals look really nice with everything on max. Games play very smoothly. Note: I play at low resolutions on two old VGA monitors though, but this card was a great price for the performance. NCIX shipped the videocard with the Dirt3 Promo card (that had the promo code on it). AMD required a digital photo of the card's promo code to redeem the game, which was a bit of a hassle, but they gave me the full game code after a few days. The videocard plays Dirt3 on max settings really smoothly, and it looks beautiful. The Radeon HD 6850 reference specs list the card has having 2x DVI ports, but one is DVI-I (integrated analog + digital) and the other is DVI-D (digital). If you have 2x VGA monitors like me, then you can only use a DVI to VGA adapter on the DVI-I port (the DVI-D port won't work with it). You need a mini-DisplayPort to VGA adapter if you want to use a second VGA monitor. I bought a Startech Mini DisplayPort to VGA adapter though and my dual display setup has been working really well. Pros: A Monster of a graphics card, Good Price, Free copy of Dirt 3
Comment:
A great graphics card for the price, came with a free copy of Dirt 3. When I opened up the packaging, it seemed to have been damage at some point, but hey, as long as the card holds up fine, what do I care.

Cons: XFX will no longer allow you to redeem your Dirt 3 code. I'm really angered about this and am currently messaging them to hopefully come to some sort of compromise. Also, this card comes bare. There are no accessories included whatsoever. I was surprised to see that not even a 6-pin to molex adapter was included.NCIX packaging for my order was lousy, but XFX packages their cards well; if I would have ordered from another brand that doesn't have such amazing packaging I would have sent the card back as the box was pretty banged up.

Pros: XFX double-lifetime warranty gives you peace-of-mind when buying and selling this card. Can replace the TIM, HSF, and completely take the card apart without voiding the warranty if you're in the US (as long as it goes back together and still works). The card is short and will work great in cases that don't have a lot of room (1.5" shorter than my HD5830 Xtreme).
Comment:
I specifically asked NCIX to "Please package well", but that didn't seem to happen. There was a small sheet of cardboard paper and a few bubble pieces. The box was too large for the card. It seems that the box had fallen several times as it was damaged on almost all sides and had plenty of dents and dings. A smaller box or more packaging protection would have made this buying experience near flawless. The graphics card itself is very nice, and I plan on soon purchasing the HD6870 version of this card as well. If my MIR comes back this was overall a great buy and I will soon be returning to NCIX to place more orders for myself and for customers that come to my shop. Hopefully next time NCIX is able to redeem themselves by using better shipping methods.
