Pros: Nice card, great graphics for the price Comment:
I just upgraded to this card from a 5770 and am very pleased with the performance. If you are looking for a good mid-perfromance gaming card then this is it. I'm going to order a second one soon. |

Pros: QuietRuns any game i've thrown at it on max settings.Great performance for the price Comment:
This card is great. It's very quiet the only time I ever hear it is late into an intense gaming session. It has run pretty much everything I've thrown at it on max settings. I bought this originally for a budget built when it was on sale. Great bang for the buck. |

Pros: Price, appearance, performance Comment:
I installed this in a small LAN box, and it has worked great from day 1. I have never had a crash, the drivers have always worked 100% from AMD's website, and I have no complaints. |

Cons:
Misleading port labeling.
Pros: Powerful cheap Comment:
I found this card to meet my expectations. It can easily run games like Sc2 and Crysis warhead maxed out. It'll even nearly run metro 2033 maxed, but I had to dial back the setting a bit to get a playable frame rate. The only thing not to forget with this card is, the 2 DVI ports at the back are different. One is a DVI-D that supports only digital signals one one is a DVI-I that supports both digital and analogue displays (Ones that have VGA outputs). For some reason both the ports look exactly the same, but there not suppose to. The DVI-D has the 4 analogue pin slots and it shouldn't. That made a poor fellow like me think you could hook two analogue displays to it but alas I was disappointed. So don't make the same mistake. It also has a good heatsink. |

Cons:
-Only took one 6pin pci-e power cable, still have one extra floating around in my case.. Going 2 need a 6870 for xfire now :(-Foldinghhome doesn't have a gpu client for 6800 series, had to use "forcegpu ati_r700" flag to make it work in console version.
Pros: Looks Awesome, Runs Cool, Great performance, but above all very quiet. Comment:
Overclocks beyond black edition specs, using AMD Overdrive.Unlocked specs: GPU Clock: 875Mhz / Mem Clock: 1200Mhz 51-54deg max while 100% gpu folding load. FurMark 59deg. Upgraded from PowerColor X1950, massive improvement. |

Pros: Great Card, Excellent price, and Easy Setup Comment:
Got this card during the boxing day sale, i looked at others, i know this isn't the best card but its a great card for the price, if anyone wants a good card for gaming, this is the one. The Setup on this card was easy, didn't use the cd that it came with as i wanted the latest drivers.Would definately recommend this to others. |

Pros: - Quiet- Low temperatures- Good performance Comment:
There are a whole lot of professional reviews of the HD 6850 available on the internet so I won't try to compete with them in providing detailed and thorough performance benchmarks. What I'm focusing on here is the non-reference cooler, which seems to be the main feature setting this card apart from the various other 6850's. The cooler performs very well, giving an idle temperature of 36 C and a load temperature (under Furmark) of 66 C. This seems very good compared to the reference design cooler, which reportedly has load temps in the high 70's. It is also very quiet - I can barely hear it in comparison to my old Palit HD 4850. |
Arguably the best card in this price range as of now. Great performance for the price. Played some Far Cry 2 maxed out very smoothly with an i5 and this card.Highly recommended if you're looking to spend around $140.
