The card run very cool, have fan set to 50% and it ideals about 27'C it games it never ever reaches 65'C, It also overclocks extremely properly because it has a good cooler, I have it clocked to 880 on the core and 1375 memory and it is operating quite steady. Also you get XFX's double life time warranty which is really nice. Onlt one i can feel of is fan is loud above 75% but theres no purpose it need to be set that high The Card is extremely nice and i would advocate it to anybody, The card will run fairly much any game on max settings on resolutions 1900x1200 or lower

Runs every thing at max settings with FPS issues only becoming triggered by badly coded games and Betas.Has further fan and is slightly OC'd.Has the renowned XFX double-lifetime warranty. ฟ dollars additional than the other version (imo, worth it for the warranty, added fan and slight OC). This is THE Very best sub-跌 card you can get as of now!

it beasts every game i can throw at it, i run all of my games at max now. which involves bulletstorm, crysis, vindictus and any cod. none i wasnt certain if it would be a worth while upgrade from my hd 4870 1gb, man was i incorrect at least a 20-30% upgrade in every thing i played. it rates a 7.9 in win7 which is cool.

Just felt compelled to write response to mjr assessment. I do not personal this card, though I am contemplating this. Overclocking cards with GDDR5 is not the very same as other kinds of memory. If the memory is overclocked also high you will not see artifacts as the error handle process for the ram is to automatically throttle the memory resulting in LOWERED overall performance. When I OC this form of card, I do it slowly, raise memory by 10hz, run 3dmark, then raise it yet another 10mhz. In this way as soon as efficiency drops off you can reduced mem clock by the 10hz and you have your max mem overclock.I hope this helps?

Absolute BEAST. It maxes everything out even on my old q6600. I have had no complications at all. This is a wonderful card that is quiet also with the two fan setup. Had some difficulties with drivers early but got that fixed pretty simply. I wanted to take a handful of eggs off due to the fact it took an whole week for me to get it which is slow for Newegg but then when I began utilizing it I changed my mind. Oh yea got it low cost and it has the XFX warranty. Wifey gave it to me as a gift.

To get the card to overclock past 840 with no tweaking with the bios you just have to download Sapphire's overclocking tool Sapphire Trixx, I have tried to overclock it with MSI afterburner and AMD overdrive but those only let me get the 840 and 1325 on memory but like I mentioned with Sapphire Trixx I was in a position to push it further Still none so far Nevertheless runs any game I throw at it

A lot of the products in my create have no critiques, But...Check around Monday, if every little thing arrives Friday as scheduled I will be posting evaluations on all hardware and let everyone know how the develop goes... Ok as expected this points great other than a small quirk I found...*see cons*Runs very cool and quiet...Mild factory OC appears to function incredibly well...Played with CCC some for OC but saw no point in it...*again see cons...Is not large and fit nicely in my NZXT Guardian...Stays in between 42c and 63c in my rig at 60% fan speed, which you can not hear...Unless you stick your head in your Rig...It also comes with the xFire Bridge, which I either missed in the Product Description and Pics or it wasn't there...Small door hangers cool and has everything you want to get this beast registered with XFX for that great warranty... Only con I have is I got this with OC in mind...When over clocked it's nonetheless cool quiet and really extremely stable but efficiency essentially drops ???I applied AMD Overdrive in CCC for OC and just slid the sliders more than to max so 840ghz 1325ghz and 20% energy boost...Stayed cool and quiet even at that 40's to 60's...3DMark score was at 17500 or so, I did 5 runs and seemed to range from 17270 to 17980 which I believed was pretty great...So just to see I turned it back to stock default and WOW!!ōDMark 06 scores shot up to 20800+ on average identical 5 runs very same 20800+ scores...So if you want to overclock this may not be your ideal selection...But...If you want fast out of the box and not have to mess with tweaking...Pull the trigger on this 1 it rocks...Granted I am not an overclocker by nature and fairly new to it, but I've been creating systems due to the fact 1986 and do know a small about them... All in all I extremely advise this Beast and if your planning Crossfire this will just amaze from what I've located in my study...Single or duel monitor 1 is best, but scaling on these flat rocks. If you got the money go for xfire...As a single GPU it out performs the gtx 580, and uses less energy with a lot much less heat...Develop:NZXT Guardian 921 RB MSI 890FXA-GD65 AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition Deneb 3.4GHz ZALMAN CNPS5X SZ 92mm G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB XFX HD695XZDDC Radeon HD 6950 1GB 256-bit Western Digital Caviar BlackXFX Core Edition PRO750W Sony Optiarc CD/DVD Burner Black SATA Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit ASUS VH236H Black 23" 2ms(GTG)NZXT FN-140RB 140mm Case Fan WEI 7.4ǝ.5ǝ.9ǝ.9Ǜ.93DMark 06= 20,889CPU OC'd to three.811 or three.8ghz w/ 2060 fsb m= x18.5...G-Card stock factory OCDDR3 1333 Ram 9-9-9-9-24-1TPrime 95 24hrs StableCPU Temp 26c to 53cGPU Temp 36c to 58c񘋴.66 total Rig...

This is a quite good card all in all...7.9 windows index for those who care...Runs about something you can throw at it really properly at max settings...Rift, CoX are my main addictions at the moment...This is to answer a few posts here about OC on this card... You can only over clock to 840 on core and 1325 on memory unless you are willing to change bios on the card...According to XFX tech support this can and far more than likely will void the warranty...When you mess with the BIOS on a GPU it is absolutely nothing like flashing BIOS on a MB...Probabilities of BRICKING the card are considerably higher...Brick it , it is your loss according to XFX support...Ohh ya, of course you move tiny amounts to check stability...My statement is this card is only movable by little amounts with out altering the BIOS of the GPU...If everyone out there knows a way to raise the BIOS set OC limits with out changing the BIOS on this card I am very interested...Ohh ya, of course you move tiny amounts to check stability...My statement is this card is only movable by tiny amounts with out altering the BIOS of the GPU Itself...Guy below hits 890 core 1375 mem ?I would enjoy to know this trick without altering bios on card and losing my dble lifetime warranty... Ok so that getting stated my card is running stable and cool at 840񳄘 with a 20% power enhance...I've employed each MSI Afterburn and CCC for overclocking...(Not together of course)...I've ran it with fan set at 60% and can barely hear it...I lately just turned back on default fan settings in CCC and the card has by no means gone over 61'c even while maxed running bench marking or gaming for hours on end...Now I can't hear it at all...3DMark ག = 21489Heaven @ normal settings = 1022I am running:MSI FXA890-G65AMD 965 Phenom II x4 @ 4ghz Ƒ.4375v fsb2000 multi x20) 40'c Idle to 62'c Maxxed Normal op temp 51'c to 53'cZalman CNPS5X 92mm cooler fan set 50኎ extremely quiet4gig GSkill Ripjaws 1333 @ 1600This GPU @ core-840 mem-1320 pwr 20% fan=default 51'c to 62'cNZXT Guardian RB Mid-TowerWD Black WD500 6.Windows Index 7.5ǝ.5ǝ.9ǝ.9Ǜ.9Prime 95 24hrs stable...
