Cons: -None

Pros: -Excellent benchmarks.-Great $/mhz ratio.-Perfect stability-Does not come with the crappy heatsink that AMD usually provide and charge you.
Comment:
This is great for a gaming computer especially if you do not have a high wattage psu, plus, you get to buy your own heatsink instead of being stuck to pay the cheap and crappy heatsink that AMD provide in retail boxes.

Cons: - Still gets beat up by an i3 in a lot of benchmarks, so not as good a value if you are building from scratch or changing your mobo anyway

Pros: - A hard-to-beat upgrade bargain if you don't want to change your mobo- +2 Unlockable cores- Flexible CPU; underclocks and overclocks like a champ
Comment:
I got this to run in a several-years-old AMD 785g motherboard. If I were replacing everything, I would have got more for my money elsewhere, but as an upgrade path for the AM2/3 sockets, it was hard to beat for 120$ including aftermarket heat pipe cooler and fan.I'm using this to replace my old Phenom 9150e in my HTPC. I got tired of not being able to run games decently, since this is also my main PC, so I swapped this chip in with a new video card. I was going to get a 905e, but this was a much better performance bargain, and I can always underclock and undervolt this chip to run as efficiently as a 905e if I want anyways. This one also has the added advantage of Turbo Core over the 905e, so you can underclock for efficiency, and gain back all the speed you sacrificed when you need it the most. Being a Black Edition, my board allowed me to set both the multiplier for normal operation, as well as that of the turbo feature. My mobo can't do the core-unlock trick, but I've heard that it has a very high success rate, so if that's what you're after, you get 6 cores for the price of 4. I've also heard that it overclocks really well.If you're stuck on an AMD platform, you can't go wrong with this chip. If you're not, you are most likely better off looking elsewhere.

Cons: Older tech shows it's age in certain intensive tasks

Pros: Price, Decent performance for everyday tasks, unlockable, great value for $

Purchased this yesterday in a combo with a MSI 890FXA-GD65 and couldn't be happier with the results. Popped in the cpu with no problems and immediately unlocked the other two cores. Literally took less than 10 seconds.I not have the CPU overclocked to 4.0ghz on a CM 212+ evo and it's running VERY cool and stable d 1.42V.110% happy with my purchase!

Cons: Wasn't free

Pros: -Unlocked to 6 cores using 990fxa-ud3 board-Stable
Comment:
Very nice CPU, bought it on sale for less than the 955 and unlocked it to 6 cores and overclocked to 4.0ghz stable. Great buy, this will do anything I could ask of it and the extra 2 cores was a definite bonus.
