Took only a few seconds to hook up my new TV to my computer with this ever so simple fix. If you can manage that old fisher price game where you need to get the square block into the square hole and the circle block into the circle hole then this is all you need. |

i have this adapter to allow for a picture from my PC to be sent to an HDMI Matrix switch, which feeds the main TV and or a secondary TV. Audio has no latency issues or any picture problems at 1920x1080.highly recommended if you have a 4000 series ATI graphics card. |

Not much to say, really. It does exactly what it's supposed to do. Construction is solid and the fasteners are the kind I like, with metal pins, as opposed to the plastic ones with the slot cut into them. |

I bought a Sapphire 4870 1GB on Craigs for $35 and it didn't come with the DVI to HDMI converter, this converter was cheaper($6.30) than buying a new 10ft HDMI cable with a DVI connection ($13). |

This adapter is exactly the same as those provided with most 4800HD series Radeon cards, and allows you to run sound and video through a single cable if you have an audio receiver with HDMI pass-through.This adapter will extend about 4.5cm past the end of your video card's DVI connector. If space is an issue, look into getting an HDMI cable with a plug that swivels. I always worry about the strength of this type of dongle, but this one seems to be well-built. The plastic body is quite thick and has no detectable flex. It also has solid metal thumbscrews with knurled heads (rather than ribbed plastic ones), so it will be as secure as possible. |

I bought this to hook up my old 4850 to my HDTV and it worked perfectly in that regard. What I didn't anticipate is that with the added length of the converter, plus the cable, I couldn't fit my HTPC neatly in my TV stand because converter/cable stuck too far back and hit the back wall. Ultimately, I just went with a DVI to HDMI cable solution which cost the same but worked much better. |

The product works as expected with great image and video quality. However the powercolor website claims this item to be included with their video cards, so having to buy it separately is ridiculous. |
So I bought this to plug my TV to the video card (which only has two dvi ports) and it does the job fine but shortly after I found out I had an old one still laying in the card's box, doh !
