Excellent quiet functionality. This is a good item. It won't fit an AMD socket blowing out the back. I will only mount with the fan blowing up or down. I ended up utilizing it on a buddies create in a Antech 300 case with the best blow hole fan it operates fine. They really should tell you this in the description. Get the A/C freezer pro 64 for AMD

Very good cooling performanceQuietPWM FanVibration damper fan mounts Vibration damper fan mounts.... These things are a pain in the you-know-what when youre attempting to install this cooler in your currently-constructed Computer.Do yourself a favor and set up the cooler ahead of you place the motherboard in your case (scary, i know) otherwise you'll be serving up some option words throughout installation. Other products will give you related cooling performance for much less $$$Beware of this style fan mounts, they look very good on paper, but are not entertaining to set up. But hey, how numerous times are you arranging on installing your CPU cooler.

Low cost ฟ When I purchased itQuietQ6600 nice and coolLight WeightWith Bracket = Strong as a rock no worries of push pin popping out. Wasn't capable to hit 3.4ghz....hot running chip sadly but that doesn't impact the cooler! Sadly spending ์-70 for a much better cooler just doesn't look worth 200mhz. Q6600 @ three.2ghz 1.35v 34-36-34-31 idle and 55-55-50-50 load ࿵F space) fan is set to auto so quite a few I could have it reduced. There may possibly be superior coolers out there but if your reading this then your not one of those individuals who overclock to the extremes. They claim the fan dBa is 20 - 32 but at max speeds I don't hear but a whisper...but a equivalent 24 dBa fan I purchased from Scythe is like a jet engine at equivalent specs (rpm/size and so forth)If any individual cares to clarify this to me I will verify in on the evaluations.

- Cools my pc! Idles at 22 C . Doesn't go more than 30. - The copper pipes touch your CPU. Generally there is a metal plate in in between.- free thermal paste (with spreader!)- far more surface area = additional cooling This issue is Large. Have this in a cosmos s complete tower. Can't use the side panel with a fan anymore. That's okay since i put in a window and some case lights. Baller. I don't use the integrated fan since I have exhaust fans Ƒ up, 1 back) proper subsequent to this heat sink.

Working nicely. Keeps a 1090T running at three.6GHz at 50C loaded with Prime95. Fan is only 1300rpm at max, could be a small faster and still be quieter than other noise sources in the case when beneath heavy load

performs fantastic for amd's with a top mounted fan in your case, i have the cooler master haf 922 and this factor performs wonders with the cases airflow. Im positive i could locate some con with the product as a entire, but not for what i needed it to do If you dont have a leading mounted fan youll want to switch the orientation of the mounting bracket

Value is suitable (cheaper than most coolers)Cools very nicely (simple but effective design)Fits virtually any motherboard design and styleGood community help and documentation (good videos online showing the installation and attributes of the coolerSuccessful in a push / pull setup (better cooling energy)Fins really feel sturdy and properly built. If you have an Intel CPU the push pin installers are a joke. =( Spend the additional 10 bucks and get the back plate installer. There are also other versions of this cooler sold by Xigmatek that include the back plate. If you have an AMD setup, you can not have the fan be positioned so the direct airflow goes though your case, instead it will be vented up (this is not an issue for instances with holes in the top rated, but not all cases have this... mine does so no huge deal).... also please note that if you purchase the retention bracket (like I talked about above) you can flip / turn your heatsink on an AMD method and have it blow out the back of your case rather of up.The CPU cooler also blocks some of my ram slots on my Asus M4A79XTD EVO motherboard. This once more is due to the way that you are forced to set up the CPU cooler on the AMD system. If you had the retention brackets you would be just fine and have the clearance. Measure your case before you buy this issue! Or at least prepare to have your side case off if you don't have the clearance!Minor pet peeves with the cooler, but this issue dropped my all round temps on my AMD Phenom II 965 by eight degrees C when gaming, and my Db (noise) level is lowered as nicely.... the loudest point in my case is now my ATI 5850 graphics card.General extremely pleased. Just make sure you do your homework, watch some video critiques on youtube, and usually measure twice and obtain as soon as! Buyer beware, this issue is bigger than it appears on-line. I've in no way purchased anything from xigmatek prior to, but in the future I'll defiantly think about them for future builds.

Low-cost. For the amount of material and the quality of the heatsink, it is a hugely price-effective solution. The included thermal grease--as with most heat sinks that are not produced by Zalman--is nothing at all to create residence about. Even with poor thermal grease and the fan attached to the back of the chassis, the cpu idles at 36 degrees. Not as well bad.

Good elements, sturdy, and mean look. Most assembly expected. Sat also high to close the case more than it, the panel wouldnt close. Could have been user error. Im an typical user so I had troubles obtaining it collectively and as soon as I got it more than the mounting brackets the leading bolts stuck out the side of my full tower.

Quiet, efficient, and light. The instruction can be superior The fan is connected to the heatsink with four rubber peices. These peices pull the fan tightly against the heatsink minimizing the vibration of the fan. It keeps my Q6600 OCed to 3.2GHz under 70 degrees in an Antec Nine Hundred Case that only has stock case fans. This cooler is not heavy, I am not worried about wrecking the mobo.Guidelines are not the best. It was a lil difficult to figure out how to mount the fan onto the heatsink. I had to apply more force than I initially expected pulling / pushing/wiggling rubber peices by way of holes in the corners of the included fan ahead of mounting it on the heatsink, but once mounted, it is secrurely attached to the heatsink. In fact, this is a genious way to remove vibration / securely attach the fan to the heatsink. It just takes some time to do it.With this cooler installed, there's much less than 1-inch clearance to the side panel the my Antec Nine Hundred. No longer achievable to attach one more fan to the case's side panel.

It looks like it would preserve any CPU cool... - Pushpins alternatively of screws... WHY?- Really extended, needs major width to retain in case.- The fins bend simply, a couple of of mine were bent already when I initial took it out of the shipping box.- Instead of a flush bottom surface that meets the PSU's metal plate, it has ridges exactly where the copper piping goes via the underside. This final results in a not totally flush fit.- Once more, the push pins! I wasnt' even capable to get mine in with out fear of cracking my Motherboard. If you get this issue, make confident you don't apply as well significantly pressure lest you harm your mobo. I'd suggest bracing the motherboard from the back with your absolutely free hand even though you set up.

This is a uncomplicated, simple cooler that works amazingly properly taking into consideration its low value! It is also relatively light and extremely quiet. As a matter of truth, if you have any other fans operating in your chassis, it's probably you will by no means hear the fan integrated with this kit, even running at full speed. The far more you anxiety your CPU, the better this thing cools. I did an overclock session, and the results are fairly excellent; Athlon II X4 630 @ 260 Core clock, 14x multi. Ɠ.64GHz), 1.52Vcore. Loaded up IntelBurnTest, ran ten occasions and got the following temps; Idle/load: 38c @ 430 RPM኎c @ 1043 RPM. My CPU cooler sits about 15cm above an Nvidia 8800GT operating at complete load with the shaders clocked at 1800MHz, operating a core temp of ㅿ-73c, not to mention the Nvidia 8800GTX right under it running at full load with core temps of ㆌ-87c appropriate beneath it. Space temp is 23c. All that heat in the case and still beneath 51c with only 12c among idle and load temps? Incredible! This cooler is enormous! Believe almost everything you hear about that. It cost me a 120mm case fan on my side panel (in a server case!) to use this cooler, plus I had to relocate my GeIL Evo 1 modules to the farthest DIMM slots on my Gigabyte 790FX mainboard. This point is also pretty difficult to install. I opted to install the cooler with no the fan mounted so I wouldn't have to get rid of my motherboard. Installing the fan afterward wasn't pleasant. It took a set of curved needle-nosed pliers and a lot of patience, not to mention various paper towels to wipe the sweat off myself to comprehensive the job. Not a task for the faint of heart or unsteady hands. If you don't need to have this cooler, I'd recommend a thing much less intense. If you do require it (you know who you are), by all implies obtain it and by no means regret it. It's a single of the greatest 120mm air coolers made, but costs less than most of the inferior merchandise readily available. Just keep in mind that this level of efficiency comes with a few caveats.

Keeps my overclocked Dore two Duo E8500 ʃ.8 GHz at a continuous 38-40 Celcius. Prime95 pushes it to no much more than 50 Celcius. Horrible installation. The pushpins actually didnt like going in. As nicely, even although the point of it is to have lots of surface space, it is so massive it makes installing it even tougher. Don\'t forget to use grease the correct amount. Not as well considerably and not also tiny. As effectively, make certain its seated effectively. Mine was getting significantly greater temps till i reseated and regreased the stupid thing.

This CPU HSF kit is an outstanding worth. The price is much less then other people, but good quality, cooling capacity, and extremely quiet fan all make for an great option for your desktop method.Add the ACK-I5361 Kit and you get LGA775, LGA1366, and LGA1156 screw down, spring loaded mounting brackets (see cons for much more detail about this) With no the ACK-I5361 kit, you get push-pin mounts for the LGA775 this HS is a bit heavy (IMHO) for the Intel push-pin mounts - the kit tends to make this heatsink and fan combo a a lot greater option. Installed this on a Q9650 @ 3.6GHz, temps are less then the retail Intel HSF with the CPU at stock speeds, and at default CPU speeds/volts; idle temps are practically room temp.Installed on GA-EP35-DS3R in a Antec P183 case.

-Incredibly effective-Really quiet-OC my Q6600 to 3.2 really easily and extremely stable -Too heavy: it was bending my motherboard and i was worried about breaking it....-You have to get the brackets separately to adequately mount the CPU cooling fan/heatsink. Not certain i was needing that large stuff to cool my CPU. It nevertheless is one particular of the best piece of hardware worth the cost difference to get some extra energy.

Keeps my AMD processor temp really cool - same performance as the stock cooler, but the real improvement is the noise level. The fan on this a single is really quiet, and the stock AMD fan sounds like a freight train. Directions are not extremely very good, but as long as you know what you're performing, it really should be a straightforward install. For my AMD, it included a lot of hardware, but only had to use one particular piece. Setup takes a small longer than a stock cooler, but wasn't as well poor. Also, the pictures on Newegg don't show the substantial fan that is portion of the package, so make confident you have clearance. I had JUST sufficient on all sides of my processor to get items in, but I had to eliminate a side case fan in order to get the substantial heatsink in location. Nice item, but I wish points could have been a tad bit simpler. Overall, I'm really pleased.

It's major (though there are considerably bigger ones), and cools good (temps on AMD Phenom II 955 dropped by additional than 10 degrees)Silent (compared to my other fans) even on max speed. It's pretty huge (tall) so it may possibly not fit in all situations, it is a somewhat tight fit in my Antec 300 but it does match with out any difficulty. For some this might be a con:Doesn't let you orient it such that it blows out the back of the case on AMD systems, only out the top (which functions excellent with the Antec 300 or comparable case with top exhaust fan)

Does what it is supposed to do, and a lot, a lot greater then AMD's stock cooling by a big quantity. This factor looked heavy, it created me be concerned if the MB could support it.I almost cried when I decided to ship the server three-four states away from me without having removing the heatsink. It got to the datacenter and refused to boot.Reseating the heatsink fixed the difficulty. It's now shipping back to me so heres hoping the laptop or computer is fine. This isn't a con truly. I surely will obtain from XIGMATEK in the future when needed, as they make good quality products... they just need to use some sort of material that weighs significantly less :P.

Wonderful cooler. Put this on my 1055t OC'd to around three.five ghz on stock voltage and temps never ever go over 42C. The installation of almost everything was extremely effortless as well. It's massive and blocks two memory slots on my GA-890GPA-UDH3. When installing the rubber feet that attach the fan to the heat sink, be sure to use a pair of pliers to pull the feet through the fan holes. It will make your life considerably less difficult.
