Wonderful performance. On stock heatsink, overclocked to 3.four ghz and the temps have never ever gone beyond 57 degrees beneath heavy load. Stock fan is a tiny loud. It cranks up dynamically as the CPU gets hotter, so fundamentally, the harder you push her, the louder the fan gets. It's absolutely nothing crazy, but my older dual core on aftermarket fan was substantially, substantially quieter.

interesting how cost has gone up on this one...what I have recently observed is there appears to be a nb sweet spot on most PhenomIIs...2440-2500. So for a straight 5 core overclock on a decent motherboard this one ought to be best. Run the clock at 244-250 with probably just a bump to nb vid, and run the cores at @ 3600-3700 (the other sweet spot.) Ought to remain under 53 *c operating P95 test on air three or far more hours. Shouldn't even need a lot more than stock suggested 'turbo' volts general. doubt there is 1, other than you'll have an extra core not becoming used. Staight five cores is the waay for these Thubans...no worries, you'll nevertheless wax the floor clock to clock over deneb four cores playing FSX.Appears to be kinda diminished returns substantially more than 3744... time for the new architecture!-or much better application. Wonder if/why these drew up in cost to the 1090T. A bit stronger mem controller possibly?? So numerous Phenom IIs, so little time!

Runs cool, I don't know what a few others are speaking about, but it's cool, and my fan is not loud, I can't even hear it suitable now, and it's crunching near peak for hours. Maybe if you want to overclock it, I suppose a much better heatsink may well be important. For 200.00 bucks, I would recommend it to any person. Not a con, just frustrated.Want they had 8 or 12 core versions for the consumer industry. I'd have snapped 1 of these up if they existed. I could use even a lot more cores for what I'm using it for.

Almost everything. for 赨 you can't beat the speed. the closest intel speed smart is about 400+$. it's got tech to reduce speeds and save energy. by far the very best cpu for you $$$. it's nearly to much CPU. i'm acquiring challenging to even remotly max it out. just get it currently none I'm running it on an asus M4A785T-M with DDR3 1600, and soon after 72 hours of burn in, it's bullet proof, steady and quick.

It blazes... it installed 7 in about 15 minutes. Seems like my BIOS post requires longer than op sys load does. Steady because install, and runs at a fairly fantastic temp with stock h/s. none however... Am happy with stock h/s as my other rig has aftermarket h/s that sounds like a howling tornado, while this is so quiet i have to look for the lights to see if it is operating.

Amazing proc, stock heatsink is fantastic, this thing is rapidly enough to run something I intend to throw at it and will probably last me for years to come. Heatsink is somewhat difficult to clip in place, but far simpler than on the procs from years ago. That could just be me although as I under no circumstances discovered installing heatsinks to be "easy". A minor issue really.

I bought this processor about a month ago to go in a Computer I was creating for my recreation, and I've not regretted that decision since. So far, I've had zero challenges with it, and I was even shocked at how low the temperature could go; if my area is cold, it idles at about 18C and gets up to 30C when it's functioning. Otherwise, it idles at about 25ቺC and gets to about 40C. I've seen it get as higher as 49C, but that was when my space was seriously warm. I have a incredibly hard time finding it to maximum capacity. The most I've seen get used is about 60%. This was component of the initially laptop that I built on my own (with some assistance positioning wires, etc).

Fantastic bang for the buck. Simply overclocked to 4ghz without taking the voltage over AMD's advised settings. Did some pressure testing and it's absolutely stable. This factor is wonderful. It can manage anything I throw at it. If you use programs like core temp, you'll get faulty temperatures. At a single point it was telling me it was operating at degrees Celsius, which is impossible. The cores themselves have no actual sensors, so core temps are estimates that are normally incorrect. Go by cpu temp, not the core temp these chips give.No unlocked multiplier, but given I was nonetheless in a position to overclock it to 4ghz with out any trouble, spending the added on a black edition may possibly have been a waste of cash. Fantastic cost for a 6 core. Right after installing windows 7 I ran steam. I had three games DLing in the background although playing 1 complete screen, zero lag time. As stated previously, the heatsink is not the prettiest factor in the world. Heatsink comes with a thin layer of paste already applied to the bottom of the heat sink. I'd suggest obtaining added thermal paste to guarantee a good connection to the cpu.

Excellent CPU - Runs quick, stays fairly cool and the stock heatsink does a excellent job if you're not overclocking it. I have this CPU in an ASUS M4A88TD-V EVO and every thing worked great correct out of the box. Personally, I feel it makes use of also much power @ 125W. I need to have just spent the extra บ for the 1090T!

This proc. rocks, I upgraded from a Q6600 operating an MSI P7n-SLI Platinum with DDR2 800 Memory to an MSI NF750-G55, this 1075T and DDR3 1333 Memory. I've often applied Intel chips with all my builds with only 1 other AMD develop (that was a flop). The Q6600 rig was a quite rapidly machine but receiving a little outdated, I could only get it clocked up to 2.7ghz with out any freezups ,or glitches. The MSI NF750 has an on board OC switch allowing me to up the FSB up to 20% Bringing my 1075T from 3ghz to three.6ghz which is lots fast for now. I've heard of clocks up to four.2 ghz. but have not tried myself. None but! I wanted to do an AMD create for a extended time. I had my eye on a Phenom II X4 955 or 965 for fairly some time but I'M glad I Footed the extra loot for this beast, I am an Intel man that is impressed with these X6 chips

Rapid!!! Windows 7.eight rating12th rated processor out right now, save the cash and acquire a X6 as an alternative of a i7, you'll have the cores for later and its just as quick. None! To the user with the question about the ASUS M4A79T Deluxe motherboard, I purchased this with that motherboard and have had no difficulties whatsoever with getting this processor running. I have the stock cooler and its sitting at only 42c below anxiety tests.

AMD is impressive! This processor is cool, super impressive and super fast. The price tag is incredible compared to any Intel competitors. Unless you especially need an Intel for some reason, go with AMD you won't notice a distinction except for the additional cash you have left! None, super rapid! I in no way use stock coolers, only Zalman for me! If you haven't attempted a zalman, do it!

The processor is so rapidly thanks to the six wonderful processors. It wasn't absolutely free. It doesn't remedy cancer. With no a doubt, this processor will be awesome for at least a couple of much more years. I don't plan to upgrade for awhile.

Tremendously very good CPU. I've but to see it hit anywhere close to 100%. It's challenging to find techniques! I've played Crysis, watched an HD youtube video, and played a DVD, all at the exact same time. No hiccups and not anyplace close to touching the ceiling of this processor. This CPU stays cool as I've by no means broken 49 Celsius even with stock cooling. Boot up is lightning quick! Make confident you pair this thing with a excellent graphics card and great memory, otherwise you will hit bottlenecks and start considering the CPU sucks. It doesn't, so if you're experiencing hiccups, then one thing is bottlenecking your method. Repair that. Haven't attempted overclocking however, mainly as a result of I want to get a unique cooler first. I don't want to danger messing this negative boy up, and very frankly, I haven't discovered a have to have to overclock. This CPU is fantastic how it is.
