its a quick processor for common games and general use but... i bought this specificaly for gaming (world of warcraft)i do the 25 player raids... i get bearly get 25fps+ in those circumstances. the chip is only at 25% usage as nicely. i run the 6870 ati card with it and i can inform you its not the card...good friends with a 5770 and i5 2500k run those scenarios @ 70-100fps+now i got to buy a 2500k and mobo for 400 more dollars just to get what i wanted with a AMD chip other than the cons its an alright chip. just dont count on WoW to run very good in a raid scenarioscores a 7.six in windowsalso if theres something im doing incorrect with the chip to make it preform bad please any enable is appreciatedM488T-M/USB3ASUS ATI 6870AMD X6 1090T @ 3.2 STOCK FAN AT MAX SPEEDGSKILLS RIPSAW 8GB @ 1600SAMSUNG 7200 500GB

incredibly effective at processing lots of full hd and very threaded applications like how effortless the overclock function is and how simple i can lock and unlock cores to my precise desires so i dont waste cpu energy. type of wish it had the nm of the sandybridge and the hyperthreading of a core i7-750, 870, but for the cost of 220 the six core fully unlockable processor is extremely great for what i use it for and i would not select another for a desktop.

Quickly, extremely rapidly, will play all your games at highest settings as lengthy as you have a decent card. I was finding bottlenecked performance with my old cpu and my new GTX 570, now practically nothing can cease it. Also ran some video encoding test in Adobe Premier CS4, my encode times went from ten mins, to 3 Mins. Needless to say I am quite pleased. Next I am going to run some 3d render test inside of Maya 2011 and 3ds Max 2011 and see how much more rapidly my machine is now that I have this CPUAnd the stock cooler operates fantastic. Added some Arctic Silver five to it and I in no way go over 45c even beneath load, and I have the worst cable setup and fan set up ever so if my case can get those type of temps then I'm sure a better case could make it even colder. I bought a big cooler to place on it but my case is to little for it, so when i get new one I'll place that on there and see how it runs. I'm actually running this chip in my old AM2/AM2+ board, i had to flash bios and update. Worked without having any difficulty, but If you program to overclock this make confident you are working with an AM3 board. I dont know if thats whats causing my stability problems but I can't go any higher than 3.6ghz from bios. And for some cause I cant get AMD overdrive to run now, it crashes everytime. Not that I ought to be saying this, but Newegg needs to reduce its price on the Arctic Silver 5 compound. I located it at my Nearby Electronics "Store" and they got it for ű.99 I also come about to function there so I got a hefty discount and got this excellent stuff for only Ů.49 :P.

The speed and energy is Phenom! Not all my software is set up for multi-core... Not the Processors fault. You inform me if it's any very good. I went from a 550 BE OC'd to three.6 ,(a wonderful processor) to this. Before I would encode video at 32fps and couldn't do considerably else effective and core almost maxed out. Proper now I am encoding at 140fps, surfing the net, writing this evaluation, running a FS torrent downloading five issues, and sharing 20 other individuals, devoid of a hiccup. I've got all cores OC'd to 3.eight on stock voltage.

Functioning wonderfully. A lot quicker than my Q6600 Quad core. I blink and Windows XP 32 bit is loaded. I am extremely happy. Fantastic worth that I am capable to afford. Threaded Pinnacle Studio Ultimate is amazing with this 6 core CPU. Not a ũ,000 I7 990X, but then once again I don't have 񘈨 for a CPU alone when my 4 children require braces.

Lights up and runs for you for a mere 200 bucks. It's only been because 2008 because Ruiz left, just assume how substantially superior it could be if he's been punted ahead of that. I guess Intel is faster and every little thing, but my PremierePro on x6 runs four or five occasions faster than a dual core... that performs for me!!!

Quite higher performance, as far as I can go on my ASRock K10N78M-PRO motherboard with a bios update. The heatsink and fan do not seem to be genuinely developed for this processor. In order to retain the cpu at 50c the stock fan has to run at practically 6000 rpms. That is LOUD...trust me. I dont overclock so ZALMAN CNPS5X SZ 92mm worked good for me and is significantly quieter than the stock fan maintaining the computer at about 47c. Also note a lot of am2+ motherboards that could assistance this cpu will will need a bios update before it will let you to use it so patch your bios Just before installing the new cpu

Anything. This CPU performs! None. Bought right here on Newegg.com. I'm an FX trader and what I need to make cash needs speed and reliability. Super rapidly. Runs Most games at only 26 % usage. I run a two monitor setup and play two games at once with no issues at all. Runs hot, even with my liquid cooling setup. Had to stop a long gaming session short to let the temps come down. May be the airflow in my case but didn't have any troubles just before I upgraded to this processor. Nonetheless giving it five eggs for how it just powers by way of processor demanding applications. Excellent processor, my personal computer performs as a space heater in my office now.

wow! At three.six GHz, I recode videos about 2.five times quicker than my two year old three core that was oc-ed to two.9 GHz. I don't have the nerve to run the recodes on the new CPU at four GHz with the heat sink I have, looking at the temps increasing, but it will run prime95 at four till I chicken out. maximally more than-clocking this unlocked CPU on all six cores simultaneously will take an ordinary very good heat sink way past something it has done before. This CPU is created to up the voltage (to 1.475) automatically (on increase), very seriously above normal, but that jacks up the heat, so watch what you're performing.

Wonderful Processor, worked like a charm the moment i hooked it up. I gave it my personal personal benchmark by possessing it render out a poly heavy scene with some hi rez textures out of Maya 2011. It ran wonderfully. No slowdown, didn't crash, and it render what was a 415 frame scene (or 13.8 seconds), rather promptly. This has done wounder for my perform flow and gaming. Only con i can make is that the heatsink that came with it was hard to get on my motherboard. ended up placing a lot much more pressure on it then i would have likes also. Also, ive noticed that when playing games that causes it to heat up, the heat sink can get Really loud. possibly im just nitpicking i don't know. I'm fairly satisfied with this one and i hope it lasts me a very good long time. Worth just about every penny and AMD has performed a great job reminded me why ive been there consumer for so lengthy.

Awesome little processor and it's turbos up to 3.6ghz/Functions nicely no noticeable distinction from a 1100T processorIncredibly quickly and cold idles at 28c ish and runs at 55 max on Intel burn test. ( Yes Intel burn test :D It's a cpu testing system that performs on an intel or amd processor to push them to the absolute max) Operates properly no troubles what so ever simply as fast as most I7 series processors.AMD has a keeper here :) None Quick and a bit more affordable than the 1100T and it has turbo mode so I would say this is general a superior deal.

Great proc. Uncomplicated to overclock in particular with asus board utilities... If you are upgrading from a two or 4 core technique make positive you set the NUMPROC back to (auto detect) in your msconfig boot.ini tab under sophisticated choices otherwise windows will not recognize all six cores, even if you have them all unlocked in your bios. Had to figure that one out. Was upgrading from a 4 core system. xD None!!!!! Running excellent with all of my next gen games... Crysis 2 runs silky smooth... even with my old HD 4850 on ultra settings...
