Cheap This was my initially create and I decided to choose up this PSU. While it is cheap, it doesn't come with any guidelines and for a very first time builder it would have been good (-1 egg). The cords are also short. The four-pin ATX energy supplier wasn't lengthy enough and I might or may not have messed up the cords when I tried to solder it (my fault not theirs). The peripheral cords had been not long enough to attain and I didn't really feel like soldering any additional. It looses the other 2 eggs simply because of the short cables. By no means got to attempt it out, but it was too much hastle. Decided to choose up a 500W rocketfish which was certainly additional expensive, but Much greater through cable management and look. Very expense productive and stable...i've utilized these in countless builds and am but to have one particular fail on me. Not modular...i had to think of some thing to place here! No require to commit a fortune to get a excellent energy supply as lengthy as these are readily available.

A lot far better then i anticipated. its very and comes with a lot more then i bargained for. To my surprise it came with a energy cord, even though i don't need to have it, it was good for them to add it to the box. the energy supply actually came with three sata connectors and a 6pin pcie connector. Making this power provide the ideal worth for the price tag. i want cables are longer, i installed this into an old complete atx case and cables can barely reach my 2 really hard drives. So take that into thoughts when you order, if its a bottom mounted power supply it probably wouldn't attain, i lucked out being that the case i chose to set up it in was leading mounted. Its also not dead quite but wasnt a problem for me due to the fact the case has five 80mm fans operating at max producing them considerably louder. put it into a computer system for my television to watch HD Movies and Games. Installed it and plugged it in. Forgot that I'd left it on standby a couple of days ago and it came correct up. No Troubles! It wasn't cost-free and I had to install it myself! So far, no challenges. It's far quieter than the CPU fan in this Nobilis case. The only cause I replace the old a single was while attempting to figure out why the video was a tiny jerky I noticed on the video card box that EVGA suggests a minimum of 300W and the old case only had 250. Anything seems to be working pretty nicely now. No smoke or sparks and I'm employing it appropriate now.

I haven't put any higher loads on it but it's been working ok for 5 months now. The two fans are very quiet, you can only hear the breeze that goes out. The fans also appear quite slow; even although the unit hasn't gotten hot for me, I worry that if I have been to load it near peak, it wouldn't final a lot of months longer. I ended up obtaining a slightly much better PSU for my gear, and place this on an office computer.

Economical at the time, in no way had any power troubles, excellent for light gaming computers. Decent quantity of connectors. had a pci-e plug. got it for twenty clams. Died right after a year. I kinda saw this coming but it ought to have lasted longer than a year. hopefully it didn't kill any other components when it went. I myself will keep with the far more reputable names for my energy supply needs from this point on.

It is a energy supply No way to attach it to my case! No cord was fine, no screws, quite irritating. Now I have to go to a store to get 4 screws. Would have been wonderful to know upfront, or they could have included them for fifteen cents a lot more. I will update this when I get my construct together and operating. Beginning out p***ed off although!

Reasonably quiet. Adequate number of cables of sufficient lengths for microATX motherboard and case. Power supply died less than 60 days after buy (with even fewer days of actual use). This PSU was integrated in a HEC 6K11 case I bought for a microATX computer I built for a buddy. Technique utilised MB integrated graphics, AMD Athlon II 95W processor and two SATA difficult drives. Not specifically a 'high power' program. It was turned off a single day and wouldn't power on again a few days later. Will try the RMA procedure and hope for greater luck the second time.

This PSU is surprisingly reputable and produces adequate power for my needs. This PSU and some new RAM assisted revive and older technique that exceeds my expectations. I'd advise it for a medium end develop that doesn't need giant power plant. I don't think I can hear it over my the old video card that's in that system so over all it's a amazing PSU. Nice price too... N/A The specs sticker on the side says Orion ... /shrug

decent energy provide so far...typing with it installed for 15 minutes. Undertaking the job. Named tech help for a uncomplicated query. I had a difficulty with my raided hard drives hook up. The energy provide was operating but just had a swift question. I was lucky adequate to get Mr. NotOurProblemYouNoob. I got hung up on and figured it out myself. Method is up and running but just a little buyer help would have saved me 20 minutes. So far so great, but don't expect consumer support to be friendly. He positive wasn't as well me.

Low cost, dependable, just what you want is a PS none for me I run my setup at ~ 300 watts, ~ 400 watts peak. If you will need a lot more than that I can't say if it would hold up - but I'd advocate a greater rated PS for that anyways. If you're on a budget and considering about shelling out additional for an antec, don't. This PS does what it advertises, no fuss.

Performs, sufficient mentioned for the price tag. Nothing at all that your average system builder would discover as a con. Some people will cry about the lack of a power cord. I have a drawer complete of them so this wasn't a con for me. Others will complain about bubble wrap packaging. Do you know how quite a few boxes I toss out simply because of pretty retail packaging??? Apart from, my children can play with the bubble wrap or I can use it for RMAs Oh yeah, you will will need your personal screws as well.
