Worked fine in an older HP media tower operating a early dual core Pentium. Fan is reasonably quiet and feels solidly made. Cables are lengthy and it is a substantial energy supply but it fit in the HP mATX tower case. Picked it up since it was low-cost. So far it has been great. |

runs quiet for two fans.no over heating issues,but I do hold one side of my pc open at all occasions.utilised on my older technique socket 754 Athlon 64 3200+ 512MB DDR SATA 250GBEVGA 8800GT or MSI 8600GT the wires need to have some TLCI utilised some electrical tape to put them in order plus the feel of the wire(s) seemed cheaply made,but all in all this item still operates effectively.the energy supply ran my 8800GT and 8600GT with no problems,but had to use my adapter to run my Alpha Dog 8800GS making use of one particular power supply from each rail (not confident that's a con although) I split the usage of the rails between my challenging drive and one dvd/rw although working with the other rail for video card and one particular cd/rw not including the alpha Dog which I didn't trust and took out considering that the supplied 6pin didn't run it. |

Bought it when it was on sale to replace a 400w psu. I don't have a higher finish program but it is powering a q6600 and radeon 4850 with no issues. for the price tag it's excellent.i like the 6pin video card connector wiring is just a bit thin but its expected for a thing so inexpensive time will inform if this holds up |

Significantly quieter and cooler than my prior power provide. Dropped the temp inside my case by 2 C. Upgraded from a 300W provide. Don't anticipate to be able to run a higher end graphics card and/or processor off this supply - you'll need to have a lot additional than 585W. None This psu did not function when I installed it. You get what you pay for. I purchased this mainly because of all the stories that I have heard, of persons obtaining inexpensive power supplies and getting excellent service from them. Apparently I am not that fortunate. Subsequent time I will merely save my cash and get some thing much better like a Corsair. Great service from Newegg who gave me a refund. I will continue to do company with them in the future. |

Worth, great cost for 585 and voltages appear OK, also relatively quiet Like the HEC/Compucase/Orion HP485D it seems to have no EMI filter. It can\'t be applied in a media computer or close to a tv, almost certainly will interfere with radio as well. Interference tends to make reduce channels unwatchable, you can only watch digital, not analog. This was a terrible disappointment. I had hoped they cleaned up their EMI from early reports but not so. I have a retail HEC 300 watt that is somewhere between 6-eight years that is still going robust in family members member's older Pc. It was in my 1st make and the desk was next to the Television and I probably had the side panel off additional than on for years. Under no circumstances any interference on what then was you only had analog Tv. I am a small bitter about this, knew I was taking a likelihood right after the earlier issue with the other HEC/Compucase/Orion what ever. With PSUs, simply because of their weight if you get a cheapish one just not worth the shipping to return. Hooked Up A Digital Energy Provide Tester... Stable Voltages. I purchased 4 of these silver 585watt hec's over the past 2 years and didn't have a difficulty with a single one particular...they are all going strong even nonetheless! I like black painted power supplies superior, but silver will do. 1 of the 4 that I bought is operating 2 - ATI HD3870 in crossfire with a Phenom II 945 Quad Core and four Gigs of Ram and two Challenging Drives and 1 DVD Drive for a year now with no issues. I will get far more of these till they give me a purpose not to. I really like these so far! These are my first choice on spending budget builds. |

Fantastic for it operating variety. Can out do PSUs in the โ to ๛ variety. I'm utilizing two in them is un-overclocked systems with one particular getting an E6600, Two optical drives, 4GB of RAM and and so on.... The other none overclocked method is my HTPC with an E8400 and related to the other but with a GT 240 video card. It's almost a year old. Both of mine are extremely Quiet. Good price, appears to have no troubles with the load (running an i5 with 1 hdd, 4 GB Ram and 9500GT). This is by far the loudest part of my method, I was going to dock two eggs for the noise but for the price tag it gains the majority of one back. I don't know if it's mainly because the two fans are slightly out of sync with every other but it tends to make a pulsing sort of fan whine which is significantly a lot more noticeable than any other fan noise in my system. It's NOT as quiet as they say. I was going to RMA this but it cost me ฮ by the time I spend บ shipping it back that's not significantly of a credit to go towards a new power supply. So I just ordered a new one to replace this.
