Cons: Had to modified case so things would fit.Front door flap flimsy

Pros: Case has lots of room and easy to install parts
Comment:
1st:Had to put spacers (washers) under dvd drive and slot the holes (marked "a") so button would work. Might be the Dvd drive make ?2nd:Cards would not fit in card reader. Fix was to file slots in front plastic bigger.Other parts fit in very nicely with ease

Cons: Large, Poor build quality

Pros: Not very many.
Comment:
This case is satisfactory for me. I bought it to put on a shelf below my HDTV for use as a HTPC. The case is very large and bulky (not complaining as it's listed in the specs), but the one major point that stood out to me was the build quality.Upon opening my product (which was packed very nicely), I found several things "wrong" with the case. The PCI slot covers are all on one row of cheap metal and bend VERY easily. The front "hinged" compartment that opens up to show the USB + Card Readers barely fits properly and feels very cheap. Even the instruction manual is very basic and poorly designed. I just didn't get the feeling that I bought a case worth what I paid for.

Cons: Slightly "cheap" feelNo usb 3.0

Pros: Looks NicePlenty of room
Comment:
Case arrived packed very well, the front panel is glossy however the bottom hinged part is not, but still looks nice. It blends in with my tv and everything else (First comment I got "That doesn't look like a computer. Aren't computers supposed to look like computers?")Has adequate ventilation (especially like the two fans on the sides towards the front that push air over the hard drives) Don't have the LCD but I think it will look nicer with it.

Cons: This case is just poorly built, PS holes dont line up, hard disk carrier was bent down, I never use the dvd drive because it jams against the case and cover flap all the time.

Pros: Big enough for atx board, looks decent enough.
Comment:
I have used worse PC cases than this but not very many. This product shuld be avoided if you are looking for a quick, problem free assembly. It works, sort of, but Would NOT Purchase Again

Cons: - Power button confused with volume button

Pros: - Modern Design to fit with the rest of your system- A lot of space inside- Well Priced
Comment:
Great HTPC case for it's price. The ATX-form factor gives it more options in choice of video/sound card + motherboard. I also have a mATX-form factor case, but because I have a video card + sound card, the video card tends to overheat. With the HTPC-6000B there's more space between both cards, so it'll run cooler.

Cons: Quality could be better

Pros: CheapEasy to or with
Comment:
I bought this case for my HTPC. I didn't want to spend a fortune but I wanted something that would look great and by functional. The 6000B is just that. The quality is were is should be for the price. Overall it is spacious for an ATX or micro ATX motherboard. The optical drives and hard drives are easily removable. I also purchased the LCD which finishes off the overall appearance quite nicely. The power button feels a little flimsy but works. The case offers many different media outs; the obvious USB, eSATA, High Definition Audio, All in one Card Reader, and IEEE 1394.

Cons: Holes doesnt line up.Front panel do not open correctly.

Pros: Looks good!
Comment:
Like everyone said, the holes do not lines up. Really frustrating. Also, I was not able to open the front panel. The metal plate was too wide. I needed to force it. Now it's open, i don't close it totally.Anyway, it looks great and no problem using it once it's built. Low price, low quality :)

Pros: i think it looks good in my tv stand, shiny blcak in the front lots of vents.
Comment:
its not the worst case ive used its not the best by any strecth of the imagination, im able to use a full atx board thats nice, the hard drive led is not in your face its red bwehind a tinted black plastic cover, some people may not like it but i think its a great idea. one day i might get the led screen for the front but i doubt its worth the 40 bucks or so.

Pros: Built strong enough.
Comment:
This boxs appearence is pleasent enough to look at. There is lots of room to install every thing that you can think of inside the case. There is a few things that should be in proved on.The eject button for the DVD player is very touchy to set up it tends to stick if not setup propery. The part encloser were you install your hard drives you can not fasten it to the main computer case.I had to drill two holes to secure the hard drive encloser to the main box.The price I paid for the case was cheap enough qas iot w2as on sale.Do price match this item.I would still buy this case for the right price. I am not sure if I can list what i paid?

Cons: Come on, just include the LED display

Pros: Good HTPC case for $78 on saleLooks decent along side receiverclean finishfairly easy to install components
Comment:
First HTPC case purchased for a friend's build. Pretty easy install and everything works well. No complaints thus far. It's a nice looking case for a good price. Added an OCZ modular PSU on sale, so less cables within the case. Too bad the LED display is not included in the price. That would have been sweet.

Cons: Sharp corners, power and reset button do not work. Comes pre-dented. Front scratches really easy.

Pros: Looks nice, shinny, looks good with the screen installed.
Comment:
Power switch does not work, Reset button sticks, comes pre-dented. (Packaging not dented). Worst fans I have ever used. Powersupply holes do not line up. Hard Drive cage is sharp and cut me. Videocard (8800GTS) would not fit in the case unless I trimmed the backplate, so it sits in the PCIx slot. Unable to finish build due to NO power button. If I didn't have to pay for the shipping back, or a restocking fee, I would totally return this case. Do not buy.

Cons: - poor drive mounting brackets- fans louder than expected, but should be alright

Pros: - cheap- lots of room- hard drive bay configuration- looks great
Comment:
I really wanted to give this 2 stars, but I'm on the fence whether I would buy this case again. I got this case for $85 and it looks great, is solid and has quite a bit of room. But I've had to take the DVD drive flap off because I could not mount my DVD drive correctly. The flap is just barely big enough for the disc tray and because the drive bay bracket is not perfectly level, the drive sits too low and the disc tray hits the flap and can not open. I put mounting holes in the side of drive bay bracket (mfg one's mount to the bottom, which is useless because then the DVD drive is WAY too low) so that I could get the DVD drive as high as possible, but it's still too low.As for the fans, my current CPU fan is too loud so it's a little hard for me to judge, but I can definitely hear them and the spec list clearly says "2 silent case fans" so I expected them to barely make any noise.I was loving the case until I tried to open the DVD drive. It shouldn't be too noticeable though in my media stand and I got this case for dirt cheap. I think I was swayed too much by the looks.

Comment:
-cannot easily screw drive cage back onto chassis after installing hard drives/dvd rom: worried about stripping thread-one of four power supply screw holes does not align with OCZ power supply -front door slightly bent, does not operate smoothly-power switch "sticking" first few presses- ok after being operated 10 or so times-power led popped out of socket-hd led does not work-switch/led leads for power switch squished together-had to be straightened out/separated before operating reliably-hot melt glue applied for front panel connector wiring header not effective-header tend to pop out easily

This case hits the mark for any HTPC build. It looks great combined with any home theater stack and fits all major components comfortably. Suprisingly I was able to fit my ATI 3870 Radeon with ease. I normally use Silverstone cases for my HTPC builds which are fine but none of their models have the value for the price that this case provides. Highly recommended.

Cons: Fan and PSU mounting not ideal.

Pros: Front card readers, sata, audio and usb
Comment:
Overall a reasonable case, definately add the lcd to it, it just completes the look.I was not impressed with the method of mounting the intake fans, they are out the sides wich is good, however they are sandwiched tightly between the case side and the mounts for the drive cage - any fan vibration gets transferred directly to the metal and there is no room for any rubber mounts. The included exhaust fans are phenomenal, I had to check that they were running

Cons: in the summary.

Pros: Big case, maybe a little too big.Lots of space
Comment:
The box was too big for my tv stand. Always notice the dimension when buying a case that can support ATX mobo, that's my fault. As for the case, it's not as great as the pictures show, at least in my opinion. It definitely isn't as classy as it looks on the pictures, it didn't fit well with the other items on my stand. The DVD drive button is as bad as it can get. It gets stuck when pressing the button. Looks very cheap.

Matches my Harmon Kardon Amp in size and style quite nicely.I don't understand why HTPC cases have to cost so much, it is only a case after all. However this one looks good enough that the price is tolerable.

Cons: -Flimsy metal design (a couple of areas had to be bent back into place after opening.)-I had to elnogate one hole used to screw the hd tray into place. This was to align the DVD case button with the DVD player.-An adapter should have been included to allow the case fans to be attached to the motherboard.

Pros: -Great looking.-Adequate cooling.-Lots of room, open case, 6-7 internal hd trays.-Quiet
Comment:
The case arrived well package. There was no apparent damage to the packing materal, yet when I opened the box, there were several places where the internal sheet metal frame had been bent slightly on this case. This did not cause any problems with the overal function of the case, but it can only lead me to believe that nMedia's quality control is lacking.Function and layout of the case exceeded my expectations for equipment installation. My only setback was when aligning the DVD burner. While installing the hd tray (which I loved), to get the proper alignment I needed to elongate the screw hole on the DVD side of the case by about 2-3mm to allow for proper alignment of the eject button. The way the hd tray swivels down into place makes for easy installation, as long as there is plenty of length on the cables.Case looks great once installed, front LED's are not bright enough to be obtrusive, and look great.Overall, I am very happy with my purchase and would definelty purchase another nMedia product again. Cons: ~ Some might think it's a bit big or deep (not me) but it fits nicely into my TV cabinet.2nd 120mm fan intake spot is a pressure fit which can cause it to resonate with the case (lower the speed and it's fine).

Pros: Easy to build as it's quite open inside. Good airflow for cooling. Nice drive cage design. Looks Good. Low Price when on sale (not bad even when it's not on sale).
Comment:
The openness of the case and the drive cage design make it very easy to build and route your cables.Rear dual fans move a lot of air quietly out of the case. I have my HTPC in a glass fronted TV cabinet (open at the back) and it stays quiet and cool, really.I added a second 120mm fan intake but the pressure fit design is not a great idea. The fan would resonate even though it was only at 1200rpm. Lower it to ~700 rpm and it's fine (nMedia should re-think this as it would only take a few mm's to attach the 2nd intake to the drive cage). I lowered the included 120mm intake to ~700rpm too, to reduce it's noise (that was the loudest fan in my case).Front flip down panel is aluminum, which is preferrable over plastic.Very pleased overall. btw, I Installed the LCD (PM'd) just for fun.

Cons: The VFD should be included

Pros: Solid construction, easy to work with
Comment:
I bought this to build my second HTPC. My first case was an Ahanix D4 and while it was a nice case that had a VFD and lots of room, it lacked hard drive bays (only 2) and the VFD software wasn't Vista compatible. This case has lots of room in it, has 6 internal hard drive bays and extra ports like a built-in card reader and e-sata whereas the D4 only had two front USB ports and one firewire port. This is definitely worth the money.

Cons: Bottom front panel door doesn't "gear" open smoothly. Just drops. Not a big deal.

Pros: Piano Black front with aluminum brushed bottom door.E-SATA + Flash Memory Card Reader including SDHC support!Supports: 2x 120mm Intake Fans + 2x 80mm Exhaust FansSupports: ATX + mATXSupports: 6x 3.5" HDD Bays! 4x will be cooled by the 120mm fans. The other 2 sit at the top of the cage, next to the optical drive.Fits decent size CPU cooler + video cards.Dim LEDs for HDD + POWER so they're not blinding.Overall great value!!!
Comment:
This is my first HTPC case I've ever built. I am truly in love with how it turned out! The case looks really sleek and sexy when it's complete! I replaced the 120mm intake fan, by adding 2x 120mm Cooler Master Blue LED fans that are quiet and efficient. They really add a nice touch to the case! Most people might not like it due to how bright the quad LEDs are, but to each his' own.The case is very roomy. I was able to fit an Arctic Cooler Freezer Pro 7 on my CPU and still able to close the lid of the case.My 8800GT with an Arctic Cooling Accelero Twin Turbo fit no problem.I have 4x 3.5" SATA HDDs installed perfectly fine.My BD/HD DVD optical drive fit perfectly, except I had to attach a small piece of mounting tape ,between the open button in front of my drive, and behind the open button of the case, otherwise the open button in front of the case would slip all the time... Easy fix with mounting tape. The case feels really sturdy when everything's installed and put together, but the removable cage that holds all the HDDs and optical drive feels really flimsy... Like a really thin and easy to flex... But once it's install, it's all good. The optical drive helps keep the cage intact.Other than the cheapness of some of this case, I still stand by how amazing it is. Simply because of the value! You get so much for so little out of your pocket compared to the Silverstones + Antec + etc... I've been shopping for an HTPC chassis for a year now and I was pretty confident about purchasing the Remote Fusion Max, LC17, or the LC20, but in the end I was able to find this awesome case! It's got the cooling of the Antec, and the look of a Silverstone. I'm happy!I highly recommend this case to anybody.Installation Specs:==========================================================Intel Core 2 Extreme QX6850 + Arctic Cooling Freezer Pro 74GB Crucial Ballistix DDR2-800/PC2-64002x Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB HDD1x Samsung Spinpoint F1 Series 1TB HDD1x Samsung Spinpoint F1 Series 750GB HDDLG (GGC-H20L) BD + HD DVD ROMXFX GeForce 8800GT + Arctic Cooling Accelero Twin TurboAuzenTech X-PLOSION 7.1Gigabyte GA-EP43-DS3RUltra X-Finity 600W PSUnMedia HTPC 6000B

Cons: poor quality controlnot as solidly made as Silverstone casesloud 120mm fan

Pros: cheap compared to other HTPC caseslooks greatnice design for drive baysHDD LED is unobtrusivegood airflow and cooling
Comment:
I needed a cheap HTPC case that looks good so this case fulfills this duty. I also purchased the LCD display for the case. Any other HTPC case with an LCD would probably cost at least $80 more so I'm happy with the price. The HDD LED is dim which is nice for a HTPC. You don't want a laser beacon flashing on and off when you're watching a movie. The drive cage is awesome. All the hard drives bays and CD bays are connected to a cage that can flip up and when installed, hides all your cables. Nice change from the Silverstone design.OK the bad. The construction and quality control is horrible. One of the sheet metal corners was bent out, had to bend it back which cracked the paint, a sharpie fixed that. One of the corners of the case wasn't stamped together but this is just one of like 16 stamp points so no biggie. Also I was missing a motherboard screw mount but luckily had a spare lying around. All these things don't affect the strength and build of the case but it demonstrates that the factory doesn't give a crap about the quality of the cases leaving there. The top cover of the case is a little flimsy; it flexes easily. I wouldn't put a 50lb receiver on top of this case. The 120mm fan is annoying. It's not super loud but it buzzes and for a HTPC case, it should be quieter. I undervolted the fan to 5V and now the case is dead silent. The only reason I would buy this case again is my top 2 priorities, looks great and is cheap This review was modfied by poster @ 01-23-09 04:12 PM
