Matched Set. 1 stick failed in the course of burn-in overnight. BSOD indicated memory failure and shut computer system down. This was a standard installation, no overclocking. Installed into a Dell Studio XPS 435 without a hitch. Method booted fine, showed all 12Gb memory running at 1333 MHz. Much less than 8 hours 1 stick had failed causing method to lock up. Subsequent reboot showed 8Gb installed memory. Want to RMA the whole set now.

They all function. My pc is operating superfast, but I assume 12gigs may be a small overboard ;) It by no means makes use of it all, actually it under no circumstances even utilizes 50% of it, but hey 12gigs for 赨 bucks ain't all that undesirable of a deal. At least I am prepared for what ever the future products could bring....perhaps It could be totally free I guess No probs connected with the dimms at all. I haven't overclocked them, don't feel the need to have to.

Love this ram. I put it in my asus rampage 2 started appropriate up. No issues. Extremely rapid. I paid 299 now it got a lot less costly. Dont you hate that evrytime you obtain something its cheaper about a month later. I got a greater score on vantage then most individuals just because of this ram .

Installed in an Asus 6PT Deluxe MB with an i7 920 core, and am operating smooth. None, except for the wait to get the memory. Purchased this memory with it not becoming on Asus's QVL, but I have had no concerns so far. In reality, with this much memory I am getting enjoyable running many programs at once and the processor and memory not slowing the method down.Mostly wrote this so other individuals would know it will operate with an i7 920 core and the Asus 6PT Deluxe motherboard.

Corsair is the only RAM I use, I swear by them in just about every create I do. This RAM is actually fantastic...I could have gone with 24Gigs but 12 is proving to be a lot...shoot my final develop only had 8Gigs so I'm incredibly pleased with the RAM functionality...stuff loads fast (Win7 Pro 64 bit up in about 10 seconds, Linux 10.10 64bit up in five seconds) so ya this RAM does it's job! My only CON is really not the memory's fault, the energy demand of the memory tends to make a handful of of the slots show an (under/over voltage warning) in the yellow and green lights which I was told is fully fine as long as I don't see RED trigger that could lead to feasible fault or failure...which does not look to be a dilemma at this time. But ya the lights go off right after a although and they only came on around the similar time I was setting up my SLI graphics cards, so I'm considering it was just the system adjusting to the power demand modifications, bring about now it works like a charm and ya the lights don't come on anymore so as extended as it runs I'm satisfied haha! Corsair is awesome...that is all!!!

I bought this with higher hopes of getting capable to multitask just about every single application that i ever utilized at the exact same time. it delivered. at one particular point in time I was putting in Call of Duty W@W although auto-following a Wintergrasp battle in WoW. Pressure testing in CS:S, downloading BF-2 Patches and Playing COD4, devoid of each and every dropping beneath 80 FPS. Though raw power of the i7 does a substantial component of the operate... well lets face it possessing 12 gigs of ram rocks. A tiny voice inside me tells me i ought to have just went w/ 4 gigs and the 295 as an alternative of the 285. but we under no circumstances genuinely listen to that voice when we can inform our good friends at work our computer has 12 gigs of ram. i7 920. Asus P6T (ofc). Asus ENGTX285. 12 GB Corsair XMS3. Xclio FT case. two Seagate 250GB (Raid )

Does what it is supposed to do. Nice design and the heat spacers are nice for obtaining the heat off the memory. None specific to the memory. Mobo had a lot of troubles seeing the correct speed. Had to go in and configure that. General quite satisfied with the obtain.

It performs as advertised. I dropped all six sticks into an Asus Sabertooth X58 motherboard, booted the program, changed the frequency in the BIOS from 1066 to 1333, and I was off and running. Took me all of two minutes. Doesn't wash my auto or do my laundry. I've usually had good luck with Corsair memory and this kit was no distinct. Just be sure to do your homework, make sure your motherboard is compatible, and there shouldn't be much to be concerned about.

I have been using this memory for more than a year now with an ASUS P6T Deluxe V2. I am making use of this memory with a tiny overclock operating at 1.66 volts. This memory has been rock solid. I wanted to put a MIPS ram cooler on these modules but Corsair in fact utilizes a fairly strong thermal adhesive to glue the heatspreaders to the ram modules. I have noticed people today destroy their ram trying to either bake the modules in the oven or use a heat gun only to have 1 or two of the ram modules come off attached to the heatsink. Overclocking 12GB of memory is doable but not precisely straightforward.

Fantastic RAM out of the box, no DOA's. asus rampage two and i7 920. none In my opinion, there is no will need to go with a greater mHz than 1333. It is nevertheless really stable. With these days's generation of everyday gaming and production computer software, there is no need to devote any much more income on non-supported RAM speeds. My program is really quickly on the x58 chipset.
