Purchased this based on reviews and used it on my newest project which uses an Intel Core i7 3770K. At first I just used what Antec had already applied to their Kuhler 920. After some testing and overly high temperatures for water cooling, I cleaned off the Antec goop and applied the IC24. I couldn't believe how much better it worked! Decided to apply it on another PC which had air cooling with Arctic Silver 5 and temperatures dropped by a solid 4 degrees at both idle and load. Now I'm thinking about using it on a chipset cooler and graphics card in a third PC. Would be cool if they created an epoxy version for applying RAM heatsinks and what not. As good as Arctic Silver has been over the years, I probably won't be buying it so long as the IC24 remains available. This stuff is that good! Hmm, I guess this means diamonds are a mans best friend too. ;-)

Cons: None so far.

Pros: Potent and excellent conductivity

I applied this on my core i7-950 then sat a brand new corsair H100 on top of it.It is my first time messing around in my computer case, had to remove the motherboard and do the whole wiring, still are the results wonderful!I play video games in a little room that haves no airflow so I wanted to get the best cooling solution, this does the work perfectly, it was my first time applying thermal compound paste on a processor so I went on IC website and I followed their advice of applying the size of a pea in the middle of the cpu then holding the heatsink on it untill you screw it in completely. It worked wonders and now my CPU is overclocked at 4.2GHz and I get under 60c after hours of gaming while the room is so hot!5 stars, One of the best.

Cons: No downside ...I dont think there is any.

Pros: Incredible ...great product !!!!

I can only say that this is a great product ...It incredibly brought down my Asus G73JH temperatures. The temperature differences are more like 30/40 degrees Celsius. My GPU temperatures used to go towards 90 and CPU towards 80 ..and I had to downclock the GPU most of the time ...after applying IC Diamond 5mm size (pea size) they are at idle 48 - 55.

Cons: hard to put on

Pros: conducts heat amazingly, non conductive

ive switched from a bunch of other brands and honnestly, once ive used this i never changed afterwards. i actrually bought another tube cuz i replaced the tim in everything i have including 6 laptops and 4 desktops, (ok not all mine, some are for friends) and every time the result is unnatural. for example my brothers hp laptop has a phenom ii x4 and a 5650 in it and when playing battlefield 3 (on low! of course, if not it will lag like crazy) and it resulted in a 10 to 15 degree difference (i am not kidding) and i changed it on my msi r6970 lightning and got a 12-15 degree difference (if not more because the temps with the original tim went so high i got scared and shut it down, it went to 96 then i shut it down. furmark 1920*1280, 8x aa, post fx, burn in, extreme burn in, fullscreen).

Cons: Hard to put on.

Pros: Help decrease CPU temp's
Comment:
Even though it is very hard to put on compared to other pastes, this lowered my temps by 2-3 deg's, on a custom WC system.

Cons: Pricey.

Pros: Better than Arctic Silver 5.
Comment:
I performed CPU stress tests using Arctic Silver 5 that had been cured for longer than the 200 hour cure time with a Thermalright Ultra Extreme 120 cooler. I then changed the thermal interface material to IC Diamond 24 Carat and did some thermal cycling to cure the compound for at least 2 hours. I then performed the same CPU stress tests. The IC Diamond compound resulted in a 4°C lower idle and load temperature than Arctic Silver 5.
