Cons: Not as good of a value as MX2, as this just slightly outperforms it.

Pros: Non capacitive/electrically conductive.Overall excellent performance.
Comment:
I got this for free when it was on sale for $4.99, I usually use MX2 since it offers a better value for almost the same performance.Got it free by using advantage dollars to pay it. Great performance, would buy again if it was on sale. Ordered online! This review was modfied by poster @ 10-28-12 02:34 PM

Cons: Could use a little more in the tube

Pros: Excellent price on saleEasy to apply
Comment:
First time using this paste and it seems to work very well. I usually use Artic Silver but I thought I would give this a try since the sale price seem to be to good to not too. I am glad I did, I will be changing thermal paste.

With all the deals you can get for this product, it should be a no-brainer: buy it if you need thermal paste!

Pros: -Price (only if it is on sale)-Great Performance-Just Great

If extra cash matters I recommend other thermal compounds, but this is an awesome product. Highly recommended to anyone who loves Innovation Cooling products. Temp decreased about 4~7 degrees (C) compared to stock compound.

Highly recommended.Dropped temps quite nicely, and fairly easy to apply.

Cons: Easier to apply when left in a cup of very hot water for 10-15 minutes (inside a ziploc bag)... don't know if that's really a con or not

Pros: Best thermal compund on the market
Comment:
Have bought this in-store a few times over the last couple of years after it being recommended to me by a friend. I've used this on CPUs, chipsets, GPUs, RAM... the works, and this is hands down the best thermal compund I have ever used for either desktops or laptops. Bit of a different application method if you're used to AS5 or similar pastes so check out the application instructions page on their site.

Cons: -Very thick, you must heat up the tube in hot water before applying-Expensive-Only contains enough for 4-5 applications

Pros: -Top quality-Very high thermal conductivity-Drops temps by 2-3 degrees Celsius compared to MX-3-Won't cause bakeouts
Comment:
Without a doubt, this is the absolute best thermal compound you can get on the market currently, nothing gets better than this. It requires a bit of work, such as heating up the tube, letting it evaporate for 10 minutes after applying and curing it for 2 hours once it's seated in place. It doesn't come with a lot of paste for the price you pay, and it only lasts about 4 applications or so. The temperatures you get out of it though are what is worth all that. When it works, it blows every other thermal compound out of the water.Make sure you follow the instructions properly as directed on their website. You want to apply a blob directly in the middle of the CPU with a diameter of about 6mm. I used a ruler to make sure.

Cons: harder to spread than other pastes

Pros: does an excellent job
Comment:
This paste is 'dry' compared to AS5 and others but really works well when it's applied correctly. Not too much, not too little, even coverage ect. I'm happy with it and dropped my temp by a couple of degrees. I also notice my temp drops faster when going from load to idle then it did with AS5.

Cons: It is very thick, had to heat it up a little first before applying.

Pros: Very good heat transfer.
Comment:
Highly recommend. Put it to use with a Zalman flex cooler with 2 coolermast R4's. Keeps my CPU 25-30 C lower than the stock intel HSF. This is with a mild OC compared to no OC with the stock HSF. Very happy with the results.

Cons: The only minor fault is that the compound is a bit thick, but that's not really a problem, it just takes a bit more effort.

Pros: IC7 Diamond is one of the best thermal compounds out there. The specifications speak for themselves, and the results leave you wanting more. I am very happy with this compound, and it keeps my Core i7 nice and cool.
Comment:
If you're looking to shave precious degrees off your CPU look no further. Innovation Cooling have done an excellent job and have produced an exceptional product.

Cons: Not sure I'm qualified to say anything here.....

Pros: Goes on easy enough
Comment:
I normally use whatever is included with a new heat sink but after reading a bit about the topic, I decided to go aftermarket.... Sure, it's not cheap but I don't install heatsinks every 2 days so what the hey. It spreads easy enough though it was a bit thicker than I expected as I'm used to the econo sized tubes of heat sink paste from the electronics suppliers for use with power transistors but it was easy enough to spread thin with a piece of plastic and made my cpu run very cool. I'm happy.

Cons: Not many applications in this tube

Pros: High quality.. diamond?
Comment:
Well.. what can I say.. it's good stuff man. It really seems to work. I was using intel stock cooler with OCZ ultra (3 year old thermal paste tube i had lying around) idling around 40 degrees on my i5 stock settings to 32, 33 ish idle with this + my amazing new cooler master Hyper 212. This paste works best with flat based coolers, with heat pipe direct touch coolers it's tricky to get the paste in the right place. But if your using a flat base cooler (non HDT) and you follo directions on the website of the manufacturer.. you'll be pleased and impressed.

Cons: A little expensive

Pros: High thermal conductivity
Comment:
This paste is quite thick. To aid application, heating the tube is recommended. It's not actually that hard to do but there is some spreading involved. The manufacturer recommends a 10-minute "evaporation time" and a 2-hour curing time. The paste is very effective vs Intel's white paste. The tube is a little small and contains perhaps 2-3 applications, but it is one of the best.

Cons: thicker then both other pastes

Pros: keeps my processor cooler then mx-2 and artic silver
Comment:
I have tried both mx-2 and artic silver 5 and this dropped my temps by almost 10 degrees would buy over both the other top thermal pastes again.A bit more difficult to apply because of the thickness of the paste but not much of a worry if you have applied thermal paste in the past.

Cons: had to apply, but warming it in cold water makes it easier to work with. might only last for a couple of apps.

Pros: dropes temps buy 2-3c on almost anything it is compared to and that i have compared it to. plus its made with diamods so you know your getting something good.
Comment:
its all i use anymore, i got a couple of tubes before it came out for testing purposes and i finaly ran out, now i need more. thanks to ncix for getting this in.

Cons: The 7 carat tube is really small, and it can only sustain a few applications. But since the substance is thick you won't have to use a lot per application.

Pros: Best thermal conductivity with diamond!Very thick substance to prevent bakeout and early failures.Non-conductive, won't damage your hardware.2 hours to reach optimal performance
Comment:
Diamond is the best known thermal conductive material, is almost 5 times better than silver.I had been using this long before it comes out here, and it really helps. It might be hard to apply when you get it, because the substance is really thick. The instruction recommands that you warm the tube first with warm water, you can put the tube in a sandwich bag or a rubber glove and put it in a bowl of hot water, wait a few minutes than apply it, it will make things easier. If you think 7 carat tube is too small, then buy the 24 carat one, it should last a few application with higher price. Basicly the IC 7 is going to be the next great thermal paste on the market. Cons: It is kind of thick, but if warm it up with some hot water first, problem solved.

Pros: Awesome product. This stuff is worth every penny. I use nothing else now for my builds.
Comment:
If your not using this your wasting your time. I won't start a build without it. It is thicker that what your probably used to but from what I've learnt, the thickness is exactly what makes this paste amazing. Thick is the new thin.
