Cons: Microphonic noise, a little bit with the clip, a lot withoutWire size

Pros: Great sound qualityLightweightDecent price
Comment:
I bought these to replace my Shure E2c that have recently gone "coat hanger" on me (the wires become straight as a coat hanger and the plastic coating starts falling off the wire). It seems the words "durable" and "earphones" do not get along very well, even in high price ranges, so I decided to give a try to the cloth coated iM-590.Unfortunately, I was a bit disappointed with the size of the wires. I expected them to be big and sturdy, instead they are thin and look fragile (maybe they aren't). On a positive note, it also means they are very lightweight. The microphonic noise is probably the most negative point of the iM-590. Sure it can be almost eliminated using the provided shirt clip, but it's not very practical and some noise still creeps in from time to time.On a lot more positive note, the sound quality is definitely the selling point of these IEMs. At first I thought they lacked bass response, even after going through the recommended 8 hours break-in and having tried the different eartips. However, after a week of using them, I had the impression the sound had gotten a lot better so I went back to my E2c's and, to my surprise, they sounded muffled compared to the iM-590, which sound a lot clearer and richer. I would recommend going through a 24 hours break-in before judging the sound quality.Overall, I am satisfied with my purchase. They are not as sturdy as I expected, but considering the price tag (pricematched) and the sound quality they offer, the Maximo iM-590 do not disappoint. Cons: -Microphonic cable

Pros: -Excellent quality-Good sound isolation-Very comfortable-Unbeatable accessory bundle
Comment:
These IEM's are of excellent build and sound quality. They are a good value at the MSRP of $59 USD...for the price matched value that I paid at just shy of $45 CAD these things are an outstanding value. You may have to get your ears used to having something in them, but these IEM's are very comfortable once you get used to that feeling.Keep in mind that i order to get good bass you need to ensure you are getting a good seal, this may mean using eartips that are a size larger than you are used to with other earbuds.Due to the cable's cloth outer shell, the cable can be very microphonic if you don't use the shirt clip correctly or don't wear the cable behind the ear. Cons: cord is microphonic

Pros: well balancedbest sounding headphones under $100nice accessory bundlelooks goodfits wellblocks out ambient noice.
Comment:
These headphones are awesome. After they are broken in, after 10 hours of usage, they sound even better. They've included 4 sizes of silicone ear tips to get the perfect fit. I use these on the bus and they are excellent for blocking out ambient noise so you can enjoy your music at a low level while still being comfortable to wear. The sound is very well balanced where you can hear the bass at a good level but also the mids and highs with clarity. The only weakness is that the braided cord (feels very sturdy) is microphonic, meaning that you'll hear it rubbing against your shirt. But this is a minor issue as there is a shirt clip for the cord, so use it, and you won't have a problem.
