I plugged it in and let vista find the drivers. I use it to link to my receiver and it works fine.

Used in a XP Box. loaded drivers fine. I did need to change COM port, but then everything worked. Used on an interface with an old embroidery machine.

I bought this with some hesitation having read the other reviews about driver scarcity, but I was in for a very pleseant surprise when the card worked right out of the box, Windows 7 has the drivers alredy, no need to install them separately. Have had the card for about a month and use it to interface between my computer and a Rabbit dev board, works flawlessly. What more can I say?

Product works well. Had to download drivers from manufacturers website. Drivers on included CD didn't work.

As stated, the included drivers are not for this card or they don't function properly. Simply get them from the OEM. This card works flawlessly. I put this unit in all my rack PC's and never have had one fail. The card is constructed well with 5-layer board and the solder joints are solid. The build tolerances are quite good, too, and conform to the ATX standard so it doesn't fit awkwardly. Standard speedy UART tops it off. Would recommend.

This device works just fine with XP Pro and XP Home. I have two of them working in the same machine. When you install it though, you'll say words you never thought you knew because the CD that comes with it is useless. You have to go to MosChip's website and get the drivers. There is also a ''ReadMe'' in that file. Read It..... Good Luck

I was using Win2000_NT_XP instead of Win64. Since I have an old Ham Receiver / Transmitter (Kenwood TS 870S – built about 1995) it has a Com input/output so I bought a card for my PC which is an HP Pavilion with a AMD64 processor with Windows XP. I just found the trouble this afternoon – all the time I thought I had 32 bit Intel processor. In fact, I was too dumb to look and see on the corner of the PC the AMD64 tag. By going to setup I chose Win64 instead of Win2000_NT_XP. Everything is fine now.

The enclosed driver disk does not install the correct drivers. You have to go to the manufacturers site to get the correct drivers. Install of the drivers takes about 8 minutes. The found new hardward wizard will run for 4 different items found to complete the install. Go to http://www.moschip.com/data/products/NM/WinXP_2K_NT.zip to download the correct driver file.

Like the other reviewer, the drivers DO NOT work with XP. I kept getting ''Bad NmXpMf.INF'' error. You have to search the MosChip OEM vendor list for the correct drivers. I found them at http://www.drivers-download.com/en/pnsearch.php?pn=SD-PIO9835-2S (SpeedDragon Multimedia)
