Nice clear screen, heard it has a slow refresh rate but I don't play many games so I haven't noticed it at all.Screen extremely bright, had to turn the brightness and contrast right down.

*Bought during Black Friday for $149.99. I replaced a family member's dying CRT and they absolutely love this monitor; I think I might get one myself if it goes on sale again. There isn't any cable management but I just zip-tied it and that worked fine. As with most internal speakers, it's better to just use something else.

Cons: - No HDMI- Internal Speakers (might as well use a tin can)- Lack of cable management

Pros: - Good Colour- Fast enough response (no ghosting that I can see)- Stand is nice
Comment:
I've got two of these that purchased at the Black Friday sale. For $150 a piece these are an absolute steal. I use two 8-bit IPS panels at work (HP can't remember model). They have better back-lighting, and slightly better colour (little more neutral). However, for home use these are perfect and can't complain given the price. I would say this is the best value monitor out there.. seriously. One has slightly more bleed than the other, and both came with zero dead pixels.I use these monitors for web development (mostly coding, and some photoshop), and light gaming. They've worked great so far, and I would even condider a third for gaming if I could afford the video card to power that. :)

Cons: None

Pros: Great color reproduction and visibility angle. Nicely built, adjustable (easily) height and angle base. Quality built.
Comment:
The screen is absolutely perfect. I use it for digital printing, and have very close reproduction of the desired color (Naturally, there is a difference from CMYK reproduction, but it's still much - much better than other LED screens on the market). I've bought a second one from NCIX, on special for 149.99$ - and have been using my original one for a little over six months, without the slightest problem. Would very much recommend to anyone looking for a great quality, and inexpensive screen.

Cons: picture quality code be better, hard to see on angles

Pros: price, pivot, small stand, reasonably thin bevel
Comment:
We have about 25 of these monitors in our company. I'm using 3 at once right now (2 vertical and 1 horizontal). The pivot is absolutely amazing. The picture quality could be better, and it is a bit dark looking at the monitor from wide angles, but you wouldn't get this effect while sitting at a desk. In fact, we prefer that it darkens on wide angles so that other people in the office can't see your screen too easily :)Price is great, and they look great together. You don't need one of those monitor arms with these, so it's probably the best deal you'll get.

Pros: Vivid pictureWide viewing angleNon glossy rim
Comment:
My first IPS monitor and no regret, the best that I've ever owned. Sharp and vivid picture, and wide viewing angle. I also like the non glossy rim, unlike most other models which are dust and finger-print magnets. Although the response time spec isn't the greatest, I have no problem playing fast action games on it.

This seems to be a good monitor and for $199 on sale I couldn't resist. I am coming from a higher end TN panel and this seems to be a bit more vibrant then that was.The colours are bold and the white's do not have any yellow tinge to them.Overall I am very satisfied with this monitor.

Cons: -Matte screen(worst invention created by humankind & kind of ruin the good viewing angle)

Pros: -E-IPS display(I suppose, but I'm sure at 100% it's not a S-IPS display since it has not arrow layout pixel)-Input delay is 1 frame of lag, so it's good for gaming-Display all the color gradient without miss 0-255-The viewing angle is very good-High quality build.(pivot on the stand, the screen pivot, hold for screw for other stand feel well on manipulation)-It has button & easy to navigate the menu!!(sensor touch free"totally unresponsive", screw that thing)-come with cables
Comment:
I'm quite impressed & just trounce TN display. The motion resolution is decent & the same as their TN display, but it's an LCD & it's expected. It get five star because of the price & what you get. Cons: quality control is so so

Pros: price for the ISP panel
Comment:
I had my first one replaced under the zero dead pixel policy, first one had finger print and damage pixel, but the box was original seal, glad that the replacement one was fine and better panel and color for no reason.careful on the LG monitor, that the monitor is a entry level IPS panel which is 6bit instead 8bit or higher, so dont expect the best IPS panel experience, but I knew it before I purchased. The stand is not steady so i remove the part of stand on the bottom it to make it steady on the table.

Cons: slight light leaks, no HDMI

Pros: Color, price, adaptable stand
Comment:
It's my first time brought an IPS monitor and the color is really vivid, far greater than my previous TN monitor, not to mention my laptop. There is some slight light leaks at the left bottom when background is black, but has little influence on daily use.

Cons: -No "touch" menu controls-Super duper bright (Brightness is at 30% right now)-cheaper IPS panel (but still much better than a TN panel)

Pros: -IPS panel for $200!-Great blacks-Matte black finish all around including screen-Full menu to customize screen-Ability to rotate 90 degrees-tilt-swivel-16x9 aspect
Comment:
Overall I can't say enough good things about this monitor. You really notice a difference going from a TN to an IPS panel! The backs are great and the colours pop. The brightness is way too much though. They could of put less LED's in the back-lighting or something to reduce that?Would highly recommend this monitor especially at $200.

Comment:
I bought this monitor to replace a broken Samsung. I have recently gotten into digital photography so I wanted a monitor with relatively accurate colour representation but didn't want to break the bank. That meant E-IPSI bought this model on sale and was instantly suprised. Having owned mostly high-end TN panels before, the difference with E-IPS is astounding. Whites are actually white. Blacks are actually black. I have usually struggled with TN panels to get true white without a colour (usually blue) tinge to it. This panel initially had one but it was easy to calibrate it out.Additionally, it has a very nice stand with lots of adjustment. It can even easily rotate from landscape to portrait. It does not seem to respond as fast as most TN panels, but I have no problems playing FPS games with it.Overall, I am very pleased

Pros: Vibrant, accurate colors.Deep blacks.Very bright.Thin & light.Comes with cables included (DVI, D-sub, 3.5mm to 3.5mm for speakers, power)No ghostingMode setting splits screen in half showing your current setting vs movie, text, photo.

Bought this monitor onsale for $200 to replace my burned out secondary 19" lg lcd. Wanted a ips panel for work in photoshop, so far this monitor makes my primary 25.5" asus tn panel look washed out. The colors are very vibrant with deep blacks, makes everything from pictures, games and movies look even better.Great Monitor, Glad with the purchase.

Pros: Uniform backlightingGreat viewing anglesGreat colorsGreat contrast ratioLow input lag
Comment:
Good monitor, This monitor is NOT a regular IPS monitor it's an e-IPS monitor and is NOT a true 8-bit panel it is 6-bit + AFRC.Basically a cheap IPS solution. I bought it because it was $90 off and said "IPS" on the box.But much better improvement over TN Film panels and a great introduction to IPS! No backlight bleed, very uniform backlight, great viewing angles. Some reviews say it's not suitable for gaming, but honestly I have no idea what they are talking about since i've never once noticed any ghosting or problems at all playing Quake Live or Unreal Tournament 2004. These are my favorite twitch shooters that should show obvious signs of ghosting on lesser monitors. Also one review mentions this monitor has very low input lag which is also a plus for gaming. On first use I noticed the monitor seems a little dim and blacks are really deep but over time i realized that this is normal and made the screen very easy on the eyes.

Cons: Screen is too big. Just kidding. =)

Pros: Excellent viewing angle. Crystal clear picture. Height adjustable monitor stand. Nice blacks. Vibrant colour.

Picked up this monitor to replace an old 19" Samsung LCD. Wow! Everything is sooo much bigger, brighter, and better! Have to get used to the size of this thing. Colours are sooo vibrant. Loving the height adjustable stand. Now I see why some people love IPS screens. Did not notice any ghosting in games.Good buy! Got it for $260 on sale.

Cons: -Nothing. Even the price is decent for this size of IPS(280$ with free shipping).

Pros: -Great view angle-Great luminosity-Great "black"-Decent speed for gaming-Best monitor stand.
Comment:
Perfect for photoshop use. Work fine for gaming. Bring the colors out of everything. True IPS. The stand allow the monitor to take any position, even rest directly on the desk itself. Allowing the monitor to fit in tight work spaces. Such as the one this monitor was brought for.
