Looks nice, and the construct excellent seems to be decent. Some of the other reviewers described this unit was quiet so I grabbed it. It couldn't have been any further from the truth. This thing is incredibly loud. In truth it's considerably louder than my complete gaming machine with a 800watt supply.Single SATA power connector. Cash thrown away.

This is a amazing tiny power provide and works much better than stock psu for HP Slimline. Fits nicely into old psu position with lots of extra space. Extremely Extremely quiet. The only con I have is that I wish the drive energy cable was a bit longer, or had the sata power connector in any other position than initial. I bought this psu to replace the power provide that went out in the course of a power surge on my HP Slimline laptop. HP makes use of a Smaller atx energy connector for the motherboard so I fashioned an adapter with the old psu connector. Other than that no modification needed and the new 1 functions good.

It's a good tiny power provide. I'm truly a tiny surprised on how quiet it is and how effectively it fit in my Shuttle case. Replaced the old one that came with the case with this one and it fits completely. So far, immediately after a week, it operating fine. The really hard drive power cables want to be a shy longer but I produced it fit with no modding. It was the least high priced decision on Newegg but right after reading the other critiques, I believed I would give it a shot. So far do very good!

It's black. (newegg produced me add one thing to the pros section.) Does not energy my XPC with 1 hd and 1 CD drive. (running a low power amd and a couple USB peripherals.) Could be a reject, but that doesn't mean I shouldn't assessment it.

Replaced my failed Shuttle SS59G Power Supply with this. operating excellent and preserving temperatures! It's a small shorter than regular Shuttle Power Supplies so the clamp on the rear does not reach I worked about the shorter size by tweaking my case a bit. If you are a Shuttle user i would only suggest if you are comfortable with modifying your case.

A best fit replacement for a burned out Shuttle K48 power provide. All the cable lengths had been fantastic and the tiny bracket from the old Shuttle provide was an exact match on the new a single. So I now have a new, 250-watt, power supply that is dead quiet and ษ more affordable than a new 100 watt Shuttle supply...wonderful deal. Nary a a single....

Great fit as a replacement p/s for a Shuttle Computer. More highly effective than the original p/s, if you can think the numbers on the sticker. SATA energy cable is also brief. You will require to purchase an extension. Also fairly noisy. Stopped working immediately after a handful of days. No documentation either. P/S comes with two 4-pin square connectors. Match up the arrows with the 20 pin connector if you will need a 24 pin connector. The 4-pin connector with two yellow and 2 black wires plugs into it's own separate plug on the m/b, like the original p/s.I'm not also confident about the reliability of these units. It worked perfectly for a few days, then I left it off for a week even though waiting for the SATA energy extension cable. Right after installing that, the p/s will turn off randomly and can not be restarted unless you unplug/replug the power cord. The random power offs continued even following removing the SATA energy extension cable. Manufacturer Response:You can do an RMA by way of us for the energy provide to get an exchange on the PSU if you are still below our warranty period. It fit into the slimline case. Higher rating than the factory PS it replaced. Seemed cost-effective. Worked for about two months and quit. Took PS apart and saw fuse was blown...fuse that was soldered on the PCB...not simple to replace...not everybody has a robotic soldering iron bound to their arm...how a lot would two clasps price that would enable fuse to be replaced with some needle-nose pliers??? Really...run from this. Doesn't work in S7220N. Has standard ATX 20ቴ pin connector. S7220N mb has odd ball "mini-atx".

Solid create, all black. It looks quite good for a piece that goes *inside* a computer system. Runs significantly quieter than the shuttle stock model. You can hear it but it's a low hum that's somewhat pleasant. The SATA cable is a bit short. It just gets exactly where it's supposed to and it takes a bit of cable acrobatics to get it there. But it gets there. I got this a single to replace the super high-pitched shuttle power provide for my Shuttle K45 that I use as a Media Pc. You can transfer the bracket from the shuttle's energy provide to this one particular and it fits completely (including the back). The sound is now a low hum like a refrigerator, great for a living area Pc. Due to the fact the form factors are the very same this need to match the similar way on a Shuttle k48 too.

Newegg, if you offered it, I'd paste it here! none Newegg management, Please let this via as it's a lifesaver for those unfortunate adequate to own a pc that uses a mini-atx power connector. You should contemplate providing this product yourselves. Thanks!

If you're replacing a dead PSU in your HP Slimline PC, a direct replacement from HP costs about as much as this unit and the adapter you'll need to convert the 24pin ATX connector to HP's mini 24pin ATX connector. none HP mini 24pin ATX connector SKU: CBL-HP-24MINI

It matches the dimensions stated in the description. The case is of top quality. Good cost. This will fit the Intel SS4200. My power supply went out on it a month immediately after I got it. I found out they have a huge dilemma with them and it is a frequent occurrence. I didn't want to send it in. Wait 6 weeks and have them replace it with the similar cra*py unit. This unit has very comparable power ratings and will function just fine with a little tinkering.Has been running my SS4200 with four HD's for three weeks now non-stop. Only has 1 12vǛv component cord and has very few plugs. I don't like trusting so much current to a single 18 guage wire. I am just lucky I have all low power difficult drivesƔ). The aux power cable for the CPU is rather short and had to be extended for my application(your mileage could differ). Like I said, this fits perfectly in the same spot as the OEM screws and all. In truth it looks like they use the exact same casing. You will have to make a couple of mods though, but it really should be easy for you if you have the skill to setup a server.1st. Don't bother unplugging your old energy cables to the HD's as we need to have them. Clip the wires going to the HD's, and the aux 4-pin cpu wire, close to the PSU. I had some spare FEMALE molex connectors lying around from some fan adapters that I soldered then utilized liquid electrical tape to seal, onto the HD energy cables. You just produced two "molex to 2 sata" power adapters(don't be concerned about the three.3v wire, not necessary for practically all difficult drives but don't cut it out for future doable use). Now clip off the CPU aux power cable on the new PSU(This will most likely void the warranty so if you don't want to do that make or acquire an extension). The cable is about 6-8 inches too brief. Solder on the cable, plug every thing in and you should be excellent to go!

Wonderful size, fits in my slimline case just fine. Looks nice, very good power for the size. Good for custom builds as it's tiny. Fans keep going out. Immediately after about a month of use, I had to RMA the unit because the fan was producing so a great deal noise. That was 4 months ago, and now the new unit's fan is generating so considerably noise we can hear it from the other room. It's my file server and backup server, so I have to leave it running at night, but it virtually makes it challenging to even sleep and my wife is complaining. Time for yet another RMA? Hope it's not too late... Prob a low-cost exhaust fan they're using...have regarded as trying to put a much better fan in there, but not certain I want to solder on a PSU, esp 1 under warranty. If I can't get this one RMA'd with 1 that will work and run silent (or pretty much silent, like when they are brand new), I'll have to have to swap out for yet another brand. On the other hand, Apevia RMA method was pretty excellent...they even cross shipped the new one to me, charging my cc and then crediting it when they got the old one. Consumer service was surprisingly responsive except for a "oh, we lost all email between ΐ day period] due to e-mail issues" at 1 point. But they worked with me, so I'll give them benefit of the doubt.
