Cons: Mislabled packaging outright lies or does not reflect what is inside the box.Poor condition out of box, bent fins

Pros: 120mm coolingCan instal two 120mm fans, for a push/pull setupfan speed controler (optional to use)Able to instal this on AM2/3 without toolsIncluded mounting accessories enable Intel instal (i7 too!)
Comment:
This thing is HUGE. Take the time to find out if this thing will fit in your case, only you can be blamed if it does not and you ordered it.When I opened the box I found several bent fins on the heatsink. The box was undamaged and in perfect order, so the damage happend when the product was installed into the box. There are things mislabled on the box.-ON the box, the fan is: 36-84cfm, 900-1700rpm, 4Blue LED-IN the box, the fan was only rated for 1400rpm and 72cfm, without LED lights. (info from sticker on fan)This is not a huge deal, but it does not reflect well on Silenx, nor inspire confidence in their product. Mislabled and or misleading statements on a product box are a form of fibbing. No one likes to be lied to.I did not use the included fan controller. I am unable to use two fans on this unit, my RAM is too close. This replaces my OEM AMD cooler, wich is just TINY when placed next to each other.I was having issues under load, sys lockup and crashes. OEM cooler was oriented in a way that it vented right onto the ram, cooking it! This new cooler now pulls air accross the ram, and vents it right out the back of the case. So far no lockups under load.I have not OC'd yet, but initial impressions are good. My case ambient temp fell 10deg C from the improved airflow, and noise is so much less than the OEM cooler.I wanted to improve airflow and reduce fan noise, this product has done that.

unlike in the pictures, it only comes with 1 fan, but that one fan is ok. im replacing it with 2 red LED fans and using the original fan in my case. it does come with all four wire fan attachments though, and a fan controller, so props on that.

Cons: none that i've run into yet

Pros: Great cooling and easy as hell to mount on my amd 965.
Comment:
i have this on a amd 140w 965 quadcore on an asus m4a78-e MB, the temps are 32c idle and 43c load. not too shabby for a 29 dollar cooler , it gives my thermalright black a real run for its money. the fan control works great . the fan tops out about 1600rpm but if you dial it down to 1300 its very quiet and thats where i posted the temps from the 1300 setting. ive got to give it a 4.5 out of 5 just because it doesnt have the very lowest temps but within 1 or 2 degrees of the best.

Cons: too tall to fit in my case and not enough clearance for my motherboard

Pros: Not really a review
Comment:
I plain should not have bought this it is Huge and won't fit in most cases. I previously had a Zalman and would probably go back to that again. This says that it will fit 1366 but there was no adapter plate. I got an adapter plate from another shop online but when I finally went to install the backplate was tricky to fit in only by bending the plate slightly would it fit. Installing takes a lot of force and I was worried about damaging the board. The clips come too close to the capacitors on my board so I said forget this and just put back the stock Intel cooler. NCIX should test more of it's gear before it sells it. Just my 2 cents.
