When i turned the computer on, i was scared that i didn't hook up the fan correctly, but then i felt the vent and it was working like a charm. This is the quietest heatsink i've ever used. However, it is a little difficult to put on, and the directions don't help at all. You sorta just have to get it on there somehow, which is fine. The fan attachment is clumsy also, but super customizable. You can decide which way you want the fan to blow and which side you want to put it on, which is very nice. Overall, a really great product. I just ordered another.

I was really nervous about liquid cooling, mostly because of the hassle. I looked at numerous heat sinks for my case and sided with this one. I have a 125 Watt Quad Core. This fan has 350 Watts of cooling distribution. I didn't use the stock fan, and bought two high RPM LED fans for looks and functionality. Using SpeedFan utility, the processor stays at about 32C and under a heavy load for extended hours 45C MAXIMUM. A plus! Great quality and funtion.

I installed and have been running this cooler for 5 months. First, the fan installation is not easy at all. It really took some work to get the clips in correctly without bending the fins. My PC is always on, except when away extended periods. The fan is already failing. I can hear the bearings flopping around and it is making a terrible squeeling noise when run at the slower RPMs and when starting the PC up. Not the best choice in products where a fan fails after 5 months. I would look to another heatsink.

This heatsink was a breeze to install, one of the easiest installs I have had to do. the fan clipped on without a problem, and I love the fact it provides a second set of brackets in case I want a second fan on it. The whole product is silent, like so silent I can barely hear a slight hum from the computer. I wish I had bought this product instead of the massive copper Ultra fan I previously had.

Heat pipe is outstanding. Thank goodness because the fan burned up last week. System did not need to shut down at all, even when watching videos, I keep the CPU heat sensors set at a low threshold just for this reason.

Cons: does not come with a PMW fan

Pros: quietkeeps cpu cool cheap

Got this heatsink for my athlon x2 240 to make it really quiet. Got it on sale for 15$ pricemathced at the time. The fan comes with a fan controller and I set it to low. I cannot hear the fan infact the loudest thing in my computer is my wd black 1tb drive. Keeps my CP cool at a slight over-clock of 3.2. Does what I got it for. The only complaint I have with it is that the controller for the fan just dangles around in my case. Wish it was a PMW fan.

I had read some reviews which said that this product was difficult to install. That is not my experience. I found that it was easy to attach the fan. I appreciate that there is an extra set of clips for a second fan should I ever decide that one is needed. Performance is excellent with the temperature never exceeding 39C (102F), even though I have a constant process that is CPU intensive running.

This product is of good quality and performs well; dropping my temps about 10 degrees Celsius from the stock heat sink and fan that came with my i7 920.

Its a very unique design. The pics don't really show the assembly, but fan attaches to the side of the cooling rack. Nice feature if you have clear case and want specific LED color fan. Holds a steady 86F with idle processor, 103F after abusing the CPU rendering video for about an hour. Installed on AM3 socket, I would of been confused if had to install on 775 socket. (parts included in box) Only down fall i see thus far- cleaning the dust from between the cooling rack fins.

The product works not a bad price. I am not impressed with the socket 775 method of installation. The way the fan attaches is a bit flimzy too. Make sure you have case room as it sits very high, not a problem I had. Real complaint is it is hard to install with socket 775 cpu.

After buying a fan from another company that did not even touch the CPU - this was a stark contrast. Well designed, quiet, and efficient. Quick install with only slight confusion over the fan clip for the fins. (elbows point in)

I'll be using this fan for all future builds. Reasonable price, great performance (lowered core temp 5 deg C from stock fan) and virtually silent. The best feature is that the fan can be replaced without removing the heat-sink. Over the past 5 years I have had to replace many CPU coolers because the fans died. Once I bent the pins on a CPU while doing it (thermal grease wouldn't let go). This unit also has provision for an additional fan on the other side of the heat-sink.
