Cons: Still waiting for mine to ship

Pros: Awesome sound!
Comment:
You can add a 64gb micro sdxc card formated in fat32. So a 32gb J3 becomes a 96gb J3. Ive tested this myself with my friends J3. It works flawlessly! NCIX is the best place you can buy this unit from. My friend received his unit 3 days after ordering. Im out of luck they are back ordered LOL. No worries i trust NCIX will ship my J3 soon an really fast. Thank you NCIX

Cons: -RMVB video support-Screen size, 3.3inch and only 480x272-Expensive for a Portable Media Player-Slower boot with MicroSDHC

Pros: +Portable Audiophile Bliss+Wolfson WM8960G DAC+Battery life+AMOLED+Fast boot+Size+FLAC audio support+32GB plus MicroSDHC slot+BBE equalizer adjustments
Comment:
Music, if that is what you are looking for, this is it. It's Flash UI so it boots quickly, but adds extra time for the MicroSDHC.It is expensive, but if music is all you care for, for you portable device, it's worth every penny.

Cons: The drated player was defective!

Pros: I gotta say, the mp3 player didn't work out, hardware issue, but the service and responsiveness from NCIX is fantastic. From the moment I ordered it to the moment they sent the refund for the return, they kept me in the loop through emails. There was not a moment I was left wondering what was going on. Amazing service fast and efficient.I will definitely shop here again!

Bought this, upgrading from the iAudio9 made by Cowon. DEFINATELY worth the money. Been using it since Aug/11, really well built, have dropped it several times before finally getting a case for it (more to prevent scratches then to protect it, since I've dropped it quite a bit). Touch screen is responsive, little hard to see in the light, but that's barely an issue. Blows iPods and iPhones out of the water for audio quality. And the wide formats it plays, and EQ settings even for video? I could go on for a while for how good this MP3 player is, but I'll sum it up here: Cowon is the best for audio quality, if you have great 'phones and need a device to pair it with, by god, make it this one. At least until Cowon releases their new devices.

Cons: Pretty much the Cadillac of mp3 players, but ain't cheap..

Pros: Unbelievable sound.Plays Lossless audio files.Tons of great equalizer presets, and ability to create  your own.Durable.HUGE Battery life.Did I mention unbelievable sound.
Comment:
To start off with the sound is incredible. If used correctly (no junk 128kbps/youtube ripped music) then its a game changer. There were songs in my library(100% honest) I *did not* recognize at first because they sounded so different. And I mean that in a good way.The equalizers are what make it shine, really easy to use (just try them and find one you like) and can breath life into lower quality files. As far as the durability; its been under water a few times (in a good plastic case), dropped from shoulder level, and sat on pretty hard, and more but still works like new.The battery life, for me this is the second best feature besides the sound. Its just rediculous, im pretty sure its around 60 hours. As a comparison competing brands of players are usually in the low teens, giving you four or five times the life. Also the battery fairs better when charged often, unlike ipods etc that lose its charge after months of use.If your still reading this its because your serious about buying one, so let me just assure you.. its worth it.

Cons: - Not intuitive ( however, customs UCI's fix this problem )- Mac users may have problems ( ... mac users will brick the device / owned) with the device because of some hidden files mac's like to put on devices. There are programs available that can auto delete  these files. Or it can be done manually. However because mac osx is handicapped, most don't even know these files exist.- Although completely worth the money, it is indeed expensive.- To top off charge to 100% does take a rather long time, however EVERY Lio battery takes like 30 - 40 minutes to get to 90 ish % then another couple hours to get that last 10 %. Due to how the batteries charge.- Normal LIO battery complaints. If you discharge fully it can damage the battery. EVERY LIO is like this though. Every rechargeable I believe as well ( except lead acid ones )- Screen is a finger print magnet. ( but then again... it's just finger prints >.> )- Most things do not have a label ( which kinda falls under the intuitive ). Not to much of a problem because when you tap something you generally see the results. Just play around with the device for some hours to figure out everything.- Whenever the on screen keyboard appears... it's ummm different. Easy to get used to but the keys are not qwerty. they are some strange South Korean cousin :S .- Sometimes it takes a little bit to get an accurate reading of the battery left. I found that just switching to the Second desktop ( by swiping the power button two the left hand side of the screen and choosing the other desktops ) the power shows what it actually is.- Does not have wifi, but really... it's an mp3 player. It doesn't need a bad WiFi based browser that everyone else has.

Pros: -Codec Support: ( WMA, FLAC, OGG, APE, WAV,AVI, WMV, ASF and a couple more but those are not very official)-Battery Life: 40+ hours with reasonable volume levels ( using the stock headphones they give ya, no eq on. ) 3 for brightness and keeping the screen off ( using hold mode...turns off touch as well )-Open Source: Heck, it's open source. Whats not to like about that. You can use your favorite media player and still use this pmp ( personal media player )- Expandable Memory : currently up to 32gb more from a micro sdhc . Essentially doubling space for 100 bucks.- Top of the line sound card : Yes pmp's actually have sound cards, and this has a great one.- Equalizers: It has a fair amount of them. Of course some are better then others due to music genre dependent nature.- Flash: However, that doesn't mean the flash communities are geared towards this device.- Frequent updates : Cowon releases updates quite often. ( Installing updates can be tricky the first time though)- Strong online community.- Ability to legally customize the pmp that YOU bought.- Stock headphones are alright. Better then all I have had in the past ( Ultimatly any good pair ( not including skull candy ) above like 85$ will out do them, they are free though....so what can you expect >.> )- If there is a problem with your Cowon product, return policies are not gimped. They will generally ship you another one ( when you start to ship yours to them ).- If you did brick your J3, there is a tool called TCC tool that you can use to unbrick it. Works everytime like a charm.- Applications ( widgets of sorts ): some are available on the net.- The program that came with the product on the mini disc is compatible with nearly all OS's. COWON Media Center - jetAudio works alright, You can drag and drop  from a normal window into your media player's music folder. When you do so it offers to create  genre or artist folders ( and some sub-folders like album, etc ... ) Handy for organizing your music.- Touch: Works amazingly well. When I first got the device I thought it wasn't that responsive. I've since realized I wasn't tapping exactly where I was meant to. Gotta get used to touch devices thats all.- Vibrant screen: Screen is really nice. Images or movies that have tons of color really show it off. Puts Iphone screens to shame D: .- Screen: The screen uses the same patented Gorilla Glass. It's essentially a glass composite thats incredibly hard to scratch or break. Your keys or change have a losing battle against this thing. ( it's spent a couple of days under me when I sleep, or in a pocket with keys, change and an knife or two. perfect condition still )- Standard Applications: a stop watch, that does laps as well as countdown.CalculatorNotepad ( I think like 40 different note pads... draw with your finger)Typist ( type words... I don't really care about this one. But at least they give ya the option.)Comic reader ( I have no clue what formats is supports. Haven't tried it out yet )- Radio. The radio requires the headphones plugged in because the player uses them as then antenna. It works well, I don't hear static on any of the closer radio stations ( and it can hold like 40 presets... and can do auto scan, and a manual dial in approach. )- Recording ability. It has a microphone on the backside of the device next to the speaker. You can also line in a new Mic and record that instead. You have options to record FM radio as well. Each type of recording has options for quality, starting really low like 80 bitrate and going up to 256 I believe ( for line in Mic it may be different. I do not own one so I could not test it. )- Has a speaker, it sounds alright. Haven't tested at high volumes, mostly because I don't see the need to.- Has a file browser. You can select  any file type that it can display or play and it will do it.- Ability to view documents: Unsure on the supported types, I know it does .txt well.- Options : Or settings to be a little more precise. This device has a lot of different choices. It's Asian, they like to give you the option to choose what you like instead of just giving you something crappy.
Comment:
It's a powerful beast that does everything you need it to and more. I've listed everything that I can think of for weaknesses and Strengths. Heck I'd definitely recommend this for a Personal Media Player. Another top of the line device from Cowon and JetAudio.

Cons: -Screen smudges easily

Pros: -Great sound-Clear and sharp display-Plays FLACs and many other formats-Expandable to 64GB with MicroSDHC and very small and lightweight
Comment:
The sound on this is just incredible for a portable player (I do recommend you invest in a good pair of headphones with it but that is standard advice for all MP3 players). Unlike the Ipod it offers FLAC support right out of the box and the microSDHC allows you to get a fair collection of songs on it even on lossless formats. The display is pretty and, while small,I can imagine enjoying a movie on it if I was traveling but it's main purpose for me is as a music player and the incredible sound makes it a winner in that regard.

Cons: -None, except the price

Pros: -Great sound quality-Great screen-Highly customizable-Best battery life I've ever seen on this kind of device-Lots of supported formats
Comment:
This MP3 player is simply the best I've ever used. The sound quality is amazing, and so is the number of sound effects you can choose from. The screen is simply stunning, better than the one on my laptop! The battery life is huge, I managed to use it for 2 weeks without recharging it. The touchscreen feels even more responsive than the one on the iPod Touch, which is a reference. Overall, it is simply the best media player I have ever seen or used, on every aspect.
