I love this board, but be sure to actually look for the install diagram, it has alot of little hook ups and if you have alot of things to put on it it helps to know where. I found it after I had done everything and luckily had everything right. Great board

I have 2 of these boards. Im building a quad core with the new board I just got. the other one hase been running perfectly for around a year now. I run sli with 2 8800 gts oc cards. a 3.2 dualcore cpu, 2 1TB drives in raid 0. I have overclocked it but didnt find it needed it.I run a multitude of games great frame rates. NO LAG HERE LOL I am a big fan of this company. and this one has not let Me down

I haven't had this Mobo very long but its working great which is a relief as the packing was terrible, just sliding around in a larder bos with one piece of paper in there doing nothing, my real pet hate with this motherboard is the 4 side SATA connectors , very difficult to use if u should anything like oh a hard drive in the computer.

Bought this mainboard to replace a failed Asus board. This board has nice features for most users, and for overclockers. The addition of a small button, instead of a jumper for CMOS reset is unique. With regard to Bios setup, the manual is really lacking though. MSI, you could impove this! Other than that, I'm very happy with this mainboad, and it is running like a champ!

Superb board-price was right, features aplenty, performance is stellar and perfect fit for someone on a budget looking to upgrade one component at a time. Spent days searching for the perfect board - something that wouldn't leave me crippled till that next part came in , still upgrading btw - Shipping time was reasonable considering I spent 10 dollars more for the combo computer case deal (shipped free), and setup wasnt too hard just do one thing at a time and remember the reset bios button if something doesnt work right. Cannot speak for the manufacturer's customer service - have never called , but their site has all the info you need for this board. I love this board and have no regrets - simply the best for value performance and compatiblity- wont find anything that comes close to what this board has for the price.

Purchased this after a MB Failure. Replacement was easy. Nice additions like the USB2.0 headers, to make things easy. The position of the CPU required some modification to the fan assembly that I already own but nothing major. Back up and running after about an hour of configuration and loading drivers.

Well I waited a few months after I bought this board before I wrote a review. At first the board was very unresponsive, with two 9800gt's in SLI, 1 terabyte SATA, 4gb 800mhz memory, 64XP 5000 and Win XP Pro. Lockups on trying a fresh install of Win. After upgrading to a Phenom CPU my computer purrs along. NOTE Check the boards website. There is a very strict selection of CPU's. Also you will have to flash the BIOS for the chip you get. Don't let that worry you as it can be ran in Windows.

I love this thing, it lights up my whole room with the LEDs hehe. Other than the asthetics, it is kind of cramped, depending on the case. I have an Ultra X-Blaster and the HDD bracket is very very close to SATA ports 1-4. 5-6 are for RAID only, which are sticking straight up, of course. After noticing the second set of screw holes on the bottom of the bracket and being able to slide it over a bit, I was able to get them in no problem. Not top of the line, but pretty close. I've had it about a week and it's going good.

This is a replacement for my gaming computer. I found the motherboard easy to install. One problem because I was lazy and want to put all cards at once. I hooked up my two video cards before turning on for the first time. You need to turn on computer for the bios to recognize itself before installing other video cards.

These motherboards have been a problem from the beginning. SATA only works occasionally, south bridge over heats constantly, even in a 75 degree room, and the computer spends more time cooling down for the SATA drives to be recognized by bios than it is up and running. Tech support is none existent, call the number and the recorded message refers you to a web form to be filed out using a computer that does not remain functional and the only replies you get is to try what you have already told them you have tried or file out another web form to send the board in for repair just to receive a replacement that is just as bad. Now I'm back to using an old laptop till MSI gets a working motherboard delivered. That might be sometime after its time to upgrade again!

I got this motherboard and installed easy, alot of LED's and plenty of room between CPU and memory for big cpu fan. First week I had alot of random lock up only in Games. Worked with the msi forum guys. I changed Power supply to CorsairTX650, tweaked all of my memory setting to no avail. It finally came down to Video card. Had a 8800gts (G92) core and others with this core where having the same problem. I changed to a 9800GTX and the board has been running great. No more lock-up and games play great.

Built in audio is stellar, plenty of usb pins (Even though I bent one! :O), and sata is fittable as well. Only issue is if you have a monster graphics cards(some of the newer, crysis owning graphics), it will cover up two top facing SATAs. Though for me, that is no issue. If your planning on using monster graphics cards, or at least in sli, please note that you can only use one PCI slot. (The bottom one.)

I had the K9N2 before this platinum upgrade, I was sad to see it go, but now am glad to have this one. The addition of a 2nd IDE channel makes adding more old hard drives easy and I don't have to upgrade to the ATA DVDRW drives. Plus all the bright shiny LED's on the board light up my case like a Christmas tree and oh how I love Christmas trees.

This motherboard is really good. It is fast with the ht 2600 fsb. I can surf the internet really fast now. This is a big step up from my 4 yr old motherboard. I got this bundled with 4 gb of corsair ddr2 memory and phenom 9600 quadcore. System runs great. I would recommend this motherboard if your going with a phenom.
