Consists of XMP facts. Low profile. Did not sync up at 1333 or 1600 with the Asus Rampage III Gene. Works fine at 1066, but even selecting all defaults and making use of the embedded XMP profile 1 ), the system would not boot. Wasn't interested in figuring out if this was an incompatibility or defect as this memory isn't on the board's tested list anyway. NewEgg is taking it back happily and I'm ordering yet another 8-8-8 that is assured compatible. |

Kingston reliability and qualityEfficiencyLifetime warrantyBlue heatsinks match my motherboard Cost? Operates beautifully in my ASUS P6X58D-E with Windows 7 64-bit. All 6GB picked up in the first boot. It installed as 1066 (expected) -- a speedy trip to the BIOS to set it to 1600 and all is properly. I have purchased Kingston RAM for several PCs more than the years and I have never been disappointed. I feel it is worth the additional cash. |

Switched to this memory at the final second ahead of placing my order when I realized the ASRock X58 Extreme3 which I was also ordering supported XMP. Installed it, set XMP profile 1 and it went to its rated speed and timings with no any fuss. Not currently OC'ing. none ASRock X58 Extreme 3, i7-950, Kingston HyperX 6gb DDR3 1600, Sparke GeForce GTX 480, Sparkle GW-EPS1250DA PSU, a variety of Hitachi and Seagate drives. Not currently OC'ing and not utilizing USB3 or SATA3. |

Got this RAM to troubleshoot a difficulty that I've been getting for virtually 6 months now. Was finding blue screens and constant memory errors, and Prime95 was failing blend tests in a matter of seconds. I adjusted voltages, underclocked the RAM, RMA'd my mobo, CPU, PSU, and RAM several instances, with absolutely nothing solving the issue. Plugged this RAM in yesterday, OC'd CPU to 160 BCLK and the RAM was at 1600, and just finished ten hours of Prime95 blend test with no issues. Prior RAM was OCZ3G1600LV6GK (OCZ gold 6gig kit). Mobo is EVGA E758-TR. The OCZ RAM was listed as compatible with the board, but 3 sets of RAM all had the similar problems, so I'm skeptical. I'd certainly suggest this RAM for the EVGA SLI mobos. None so far. Once more, get this RAM if you have an EVGA SLI board. |

Outstanding memory from day 1. NO issues at stock settings. Haven't tried to overclock. No need to have to so far. None. Utilized 6GB of this memory in a high end personal build in 11ቦ and has run wonderful from the 1st day I powered it up (this review is fourǝቧ). EVGA x58 MB with Intel 980x, two EVGA 580x video cards and an Intel SSD operating Win 7 64. This has been the fastest and most stable Computer I've ever put together in the past 15 years. |

Incredibly rapid, Looks excellent, it scored highest on my Windows 7 technique rating Ɨ.6). My i7 920 scored a 7.5 and its overclocked to three.5ghz, You do the math. No cons really, besides cost. scores7.9 in win7 not as low cost as ddr2 motherboard pick it as 1066 i had to go in bios to set it right after that i did some test and this memory is rapidly installed 6 gigs in a evga x58 3x sli board i tried a lot of brands for this board and this stuff worked the finest for me i dont know about your board but if you have a evga board dont wast your income or time on other memory get this very first |

This memory is rapid, the low CAS latency and overall speed hitting 1600 aids in receiving speeds up to 25+ GB/sec transfer rates. The Documentation seems a bit on the light side on how to enable the speeds beyond the i7 stock of 1066. To enable the 1600 speeds, you will need the capability to directly alter either the multiplier, memory profile, or the CPU's multiplier and voltage settings.For my case, working with an EE processor yielded a case exactly where I necessary to merely allow the memory's XMP profile (versus common), set the multiplier for the memory to twoᚴ, and adjusted the VTT voltage to ქmv. To attain the CAS latency of 8, you'll will need to manually set the values your self in the BIOS. This is the only way I knew to attain item specification speeds. |

Works greater than advertised Cost, but dont actually think thats a con.....you get what you pay for most of the time. purchased 12 gigs of this for my pc. I have EVGA MB and the default latency timing is 7-7-7-19, superior than advertised. Wish I has a greater tech knowledge so I could OC it some. Tried to and my pc wouldn't post, reset CMOS so no large deal. |
I study quite a few reviews about numerous different sorts of DDR3, and the HyperX flavor came out near the best numerous instances. With the newest BIOS, my RAM runs completely. Not the RAM's fault, but it did not run at 1600MHz with the default BIOS. Had to update it for the RAM to run at the right speed. I have read that this RAM has wonderful prospective for operating quicker than its listed speed. That is the principal reason I bought this item. I had some HyperX RAM back in the regular DDR days and it worked great back then, also.
