To be honest, I was quite confused with all the various models of RAM , between brands and even within the same brand, when I decided to build a new rig to replace my rather old-in-the-tooth A7V133 !After much nail biting, I decided to go with this set of RAM mostly because of its low price ($50 on special), the reason being it would not be a big monetary loss if things don't work out.Lo and behold! I must say I was quite impressed when I dropped them in my new rig and started some tests, even tweaking the timings a bit below the XMP settings. I don't do games, so when Windows 7 gave me a 7.1 rating for the RAM, I was more than satisfied with my purchase (knock on wood anyway, hoping it will last me for a loooong time!)The only con like I mentioned is that the heatsink is quite tall, almost doubling the height of the modules. That could be a problem if I ever want to upgrade the heatsink on my AMD Phenom, but for now things are working much better than I expected.

This memory works well and I have not had any problems. Just make sure your CPU cooler will fit since they are quite tall. XMP setting are recognized in BIOS and work as expected. Price was reasonable
