Blazing rapidly memory, enormous heatsinks, came with HyperX fan. Despite what preceding reviewer has stated, this memory runs fine at 1866. None. The BIOS on the Asus Sabertooth X58 wanted to default it to 1066, but that's a function of the BIOS which guarantees it will boot, and not a issue with the memory. It's uncomplicated sufficient in the BIOS to tell it to run at 1866. Reboot and it's stable, and extremely fast.

Fantastic memory for the money. Went in a sabertooth x58 mobo. Was on QVL. Set on XMP in bios. No troubles at all. Newegg rocks as usual. Didn't come I a box. Only padded envelope. Excellent memory. Fantastic manufacture and warranty. Would buy yet again and would suggest.

Wonderful ram for the price, 1866 speed is awsome and performs flawlessly! all i need is one more set when i require it and its 12gb of ram goodness, which honestly is a lot more than enough ram for most games and softwear. i do alot of gaming and graphics modeling, and even with all the programs running i somtimes get alittle more than 50% on 6GB of ram... couldnt picture needing 12gb or even 24gb of ram that some men and women obtain...24GB of ram appears like a compleate waste of income... just my opinion tho none XMP took a small operate to get running correct due to out of date bios on the new MB i purchased. so if you have an concern with your method crashing when you set XMP 1866, try updaing bios.

Quick. Very nice heat sinks that appear to be undertaking their job quite well without the optional fan attachment. The XMP Profile1 worked with no probs. XMP Profile2 won't even load but that's most likely my mobo/bios. It keeps defaulting to Profile1 no matter what I do. I'm on a somewhat older i7-920 2.66 mildly OC'd to three.two and so the ram is mildly OC'd from 1333 to 1600. Mobo is Intel X58. On the other hand, I'm getting a heck of a time achieving that 1866 speed and becoming completely stable. I attribute that to a lack of competent OC'ing skillz. I'll get it figured out sooner or later. Google is my buddy.

This memory is wonderful! Ultra rapid and stable. Running flawlessly at 1866 on an Asus Sabertooth X58 motherboard. XMB profile feature works fantastic! In the bios - set the Ai overclock tuner setting to memory profile ş and off ya go! Passed various hours of pressure testing in each prime95 and memtest. This is the finest memory I have ever owned. Certainly worth the price. Windows 7 expertise score for this memory rates at 7.9. absolutely nothing - works perfectly! Quite impressed with this memory. I will only be acquiring Kingston memory in the future.

Kingston warranty. Ample heat sink. Works well at 1333 MHz. XMP Profile 1 or two NOT stable on Intel DX58SO with I7-975 Extreme Edition (BIOS updated). Type of defeats the purpose of XMP, if it doesn't really setup working timings and voltages. Expensive for DDR3 1333. Core I7-975 Extreme. Intel DX58SO. Antec TP-750. Antec Nine Hundred. Intel X25-M SSD's. WD Black 1TB's. Quadro FX-4800. It became clear when no individual module could even maintain operating on the XMP profiles, that it wasn't bad RAM. The XMP MB / CPU / RAM timings / voltages just dont work. Kingston claimed they couldn't technically support any timings set past 1333, but went through the "motions". They suspected the other hardware. Sorry, my income's on the RAM ... literally. Luckily, when I bought it, it was only ฤ much more than DDR3 1333 Value RAM, so not considerably extra to have spent for the giant Heat Sinks. Till they actually commit, confirm, and certify, I'd appear elsewhere for XMP.
