Good memeory for a 1066 which created my program speed up noticeably. Very good heat sinks and dont get any hotter then any other memory but improved my boot time and responce time of the whole system. Its Kingston HyperX for gaming and makes a distinction in gaming improvement. Some people say it not DDR three hey if you want DRR3 then buy a new motherboard and quit complaing about the memeory. Thats the only con I see is that some folks try to make Kingston memory appear bad My motherboard (GA-965P-DQ6) said it makes use of a FSB of 1066 DDR 2 but under no circumstances employed that memory used the FSB of 800 which I believed was quick but the 1066 is more rapidly noticeably. Should have switched it a couple of years ago but price was a facter. Purchased 2 stick to see how it operates and when I located how a lot distinction it made right after 2 weeks ordered 2 more to boost my program even more quickly! |

Affordable. Fantastic heat speader. This RAM is listed in CPUID as PC2-6400. The highest listed SPD for this RAM is 400齠MHz) 5-5-five-18-23-2T 1.8v There isn't even a 533Mhz choice in CPUID. My other two sticks of HyperX I bought final year have 533Mhz listed. Similar speed as this 1. The only logical explaination is that they are generating PC2-6400 ram and testing it at 1066Mhz speeds. If it functions then they brand it as 1066Mhz ram. If not then it's sold at 800Mhz ram. Great for them for price cutting, poor for us for performance issues. |

1066 Mhz, runs Dual Channel, 1 Gig size makes it extremely flexible for any form of user See Other Thoughts 1st, depending on your motherboard and program setup you will probably have to manually adjust both voltage and timing setting in your BIOS (and even then you comp may well not say the stuff is operating at five-5-5-15 at 1066). Secondly, I ordered 4 of these to upgrade my memory in my gaming computer system. 3 worked flawlessly... sadly however one was DOA and prevented my personal computer from booting up. This is the very first time I have ever had to RMA anything from Kingston, so I nevertheless give it 5 eggs. |

Runs more rapidly than old ram two x 256MB. None I checked the CPUID it showed the ram as PC2-6400 but the web page said it's 8500. CPUID might study it wrong. I am not exactly confident but. But so far it's running more quickly than just before. |

Fast, good price tag. Arrived working perfectly. None so far. When I place it in my system, it was originally detecting as DDR800. I named Kingston assistance, and they told me that this is expected, and that the memory does this for compatibility. Just set it as DDR1066 (or 533Mhz DRAM Clock) and you're great to go. Kingston assistance was quite nice and productive. |

Heatsink none I have four sticks and have had no difficulty with this or any other kingston. So I have usually bought what works, kingston, so I can't evaluate to significant brands. But these are lightyears ahead of anything that was in any personal computer I ever purchased constructed, but who buys already built any longer....but if you do memory is a very good upgrade! |

Working quickly and stable with E7400 CPU and Gigabyte EP43 board. Board didn't detect it at complete speed, had to place settings in manually, but that's possibly the fault of the board and not the RAM. |
Excellent ram, fantastic designKingston all the way.. (read beneath) Not confident if this is a con or not but ought to check how significantly voltage is going to the RAM, I have 4 of these puppies in and only 1.7v was going to it. Manufacturer recommends 2.2v, it was slowing down my comp and causing it to freeze so just make sure you double check. Some motherboards will have this dilemma some won't..
