Took out my vital garbage 4x1GB memory (which was blasted on here by other buyers) and replaced it with this. Did a test on Windows 7. Went from six.9 to 7.1 AND my shutdown/reboot occasions were amazingly faster. 8GB rocks while I'm forced to run it at 800MHz due to the fact of the mobo limitation. None so far Worked in my old/ancient M3N78-EMH HDMI board, however, right after reading the 1 sentence that explains 1066FSB is limited to 1 stick per channel, I seemed to jump the gun and I'm not capable to run AM2+ CPUs from it. Way to limit memory configurations AMD. Way to go ASUS for not which includes my mobo to accept AM3 CPUs also. Every other M3N78 version does...

Bought two sticks and they worked excellent. No difficulties. Win7 states that it is employing three.25 out of 4gb but this is normal. I'm operating at 32bits. Very suggest. None that I can see.

Memory work properly. My VMWare host/guests are no longer sluggish! None that I can see. 1. I ordered this memory some weeks ago with the cost-free shipping alternative and it under no circumstances arrived at my residence. Post workplace could not aid, but Newegg graciously refunded me the ๟. I lost the absolutely free 2GB USB stick that came with the initial order, but oh properly...two. To save yourself the very same frustration that I went by way of, pay additional for the shipping; don't go with the free of charge shipping since you might not get the item.3. Because my method dropped the memory to DDR800 considering that all the channels have been full, I adjusted the memory timings and memory runs much better.

Produced by Kingston.Has Heat Spreaders. Ram is ok- as some may possibly have pointed out your motherboard may well recognize it as 800. no big deal. Why is DDR2 more costly now that it was two-three years ago?Why does Newegg fluctuate their value so substantially?

Fast, good looking heat spreaders, excellent getting it's Kingston. 1 of the modules was DOA, had to RMA them both. By no means had any problems with the Kingston brand in any prior builds.

Great overall performance memory even running at 800 mhz. Windows efficiency rating at 800 mhz is 7.4 just with four gigs i believe the 1066 will bring it to 7.six or even max 7.9 rating on windows 7 if your operating vista I believe it maxes at five.9 or something. This memory requirements some certain settings for 1066 and is sorta selective, you require to make sure its on memory spec sheet. My motherboard which is m3n72-D has this memory only suited for 800 mhz other boards can spec this for 1066 be cautious. you verify you spec sheets I didnt and can only run this at 800 mhz leaving me with a bit of a bottle neck. Ram is good fantastic design and style heat sinks function properly, this ram is definatly gaming/performance memory, operates good this ram is durable and kingston is a name to trust. Their ram is almost never poor I've never seen a poor stick enjoy this item.

Inexpensive Doesn't run at rated speed. BSODs all day at 1066. Runs fine at 1000Mhz or beneath. Had to underclock it to perform reliably.

Excellent strong memory. Decent price tag. Is not compatible with MSI 790XT-G45 Default settings at 800mHz function but when I pump it up to 1066mHz I shed video and have to reset the motherboard bios. After working with MSI and confirming I had set the speeds appropriately and the voltage trying to acquire 1066mHz, I called Kingston. The Kingston support engineer advised me they don't do compatibility testing on any of the HyperX memory and this evidently is not compatible with the MSI board. Certainly recommend you follow up with the MB manufacture compatibility tests. I knew ahead of time this hadn't been tested per MSI and took the possibility. I'll be returning it Monday,

Decent Looks. Newegg, as constantly, being the vendor. One particular Memory module came DOA the other worked fine. The one that was working would not run at 1066. One particular module would perform flawless the other couldn't at all.Upon returning to read some evaluations, appears I'm not the only one particular with this problem. Back to some g-talent for me.

*It Works. Plain and easy. Added 2 this kit to double my RAM in a HTPC/MicroATX setup. *Plays effectively with earlier revisions of RAM. 2nd set in HTPC was purchased in Nov09. Didn't appear to need to have to watch Revision numbers like you do with other brands. *RAM is tested to operate at reduced latencies and CAS ratings than it comes stock-clocked. Manual intervention needed to get test-level functionality. I can't gripe about this as well much. RAM worked on the first try. It'd be good if I didn't have to BIOS muck to get it running at optimal speed, but it ran a 72 hour gaming burn-in marathon and is nonetheless going strong. If you like to play with BIOS and latencies...this will offer the frustration/satisfaction you're searching for. If you just want to upgrade your RAM without having hassle, choose these up with an anti-static wrist band and go wild.

I built my technique more than a year ago and utilised this RAM. I've never had an issue except i had to alter my mobo settings to study 1066 rather of 800. considering that then my program has performed nicely. the following is a critique of newegg, NOT THE MEMORY! I'm upgrading my tower and wanted to jump to 8gb's i was shocked when i saw the price of this. my machine was built prior to ddr3 came out. i bought this very same ram for ฽.00. thats appropriate....they doubled the price tag....for outdated tech... I still bought. this ram is wonderful. cant wait to hit 8gb!

i got 8gigs of this mem and mine run just fine at 1066 speed at 2.2volts. system is really fast and they don't get overly hot like they would if you put the voltage at two.three like it says on the stix themselves........ the stix will say two.3volts for 1066 speeds, but on kingston's web page it say you can run them at two.2volts witch is considerably a lot more preferred. a shame so several are not capable to run the mem at 1066 speeds as i'm capable to and with 8gigs at that. i no longer purchase any mem on line anymore due to frequently receiving terrible stix with errors. not neweggs fault, but with such a higher volume of bad mem presently it seems it's finest to go to a local retailer (i like frenchFRys) and not have to deal with allot of RMAs due to this.

I run 8 gig at 1066. I don't know why the others are claiming that it only runs at 800. I set the bios to 1066 and it has been rock strong. My Quad core is overclocked from two.four to three. and I couldn't be happier. Was forty-nine dollars in July. If it was any more affordable, I would obtain eight gigs for a new rig I am creating.

Functions nicely at 800 mhz tested with Prime95 but will not at 1066 Mhz with Prime95..... I had written a critique on my initial set of ram 5 or 6 months ago and this is a adhere to up on it. I had installed them on a ASUS M3N72-d with a Amd Phenom II 810 processor and mother board and they never would perform at 1066 mhz even after spending a lot of hours on the web and trying distinct stuff to make them function. Due to the fact then i constructed a new machine running an ASUS M478-Pro and a black box AMD Phenom II processor and another new set of Ram and it nevertheless will not Pass the Prime95 test. It will run fine till you place the method below a excellent load then it fails. As for the people right here that have had success with there ram i am not certain if they have been testing them with prime95 but at this time i would think about obtaining from an additional manufacture, I have been working with Kingston since the 1995 and till now i have by no means had an challenge with there merchandise before. If anyone has any other suggestions i have an open mind and would try something at this point to correct the issue. Like i said above it functions till put under Prime95 test load with both the old sets and the new sets. I Have run it at 5-five-five-15-24 at two.two and 2.three volts with total failure on two various systems and two various sets of ram even with latest bios updates. At this time if i had been you i would not obtain this ram for 1066 use....

Maybe i caught it at a ฤ off, idk, i didnt show i did on the invoice.. Shouldnt DDR2 be lower now anywayz? But other than that i nonetheless might buy yet another set to make it an 8gb or just wait and get the DDR3's when i get an i7. * Asus P5k-E/WiFI* Intel Q6600 @ three.6ghz, 29ºC on idle* 4gb ddr2 Kingston Ram @ 1066mhz* ATI 5870 SAPPHIRE Radeon, 38ºC on idle* 3 HDD 60gb SSD, 320gb, 1tb* 750w Energy Provide* Windows 7 Ultimate x64

I failed to study other individuals reviews on this and failed to see that this is not something that just happens after in a blue moon, This from what I see takes place alot. I don't really ever write critiques on here but I am that upset with how this product came that I had to inform folks to watch out.
