Cons: tape for tabs isnt very sticky

Pros: Looks great
Comment:
I dont regret buying the product at all, but for me it's mostly asthetic. this is more of a "I like cool blue things on my computer" type thing. it does work well, i just dont see myself lowering the fan speeds often enough for it to be useful

Cons: I need a four pin fan connect for my Corsair CPU liquid cooling radiator-fan (amps?) I needed to use the motherboard connector, but I think it runs so slowly that the alarm would have sounded anyway.

Pros: Cable length was sufficient, LCD is not irritating in the dark, nothing to improve overall.
Comment:
Antec Nine Hundred: This temperature control unit verified temperatures, and enabled me to re-position case fans to all intake - except the big boy on top! Thanks.

Cons: - cable length could be longer, some other fan controllers provide longer temp probes, but this is only noticeable in large full tower cases- the dials feel nice to turn but feel weak, they can be pushed in and out a little, if you were to hit them while transporting the case they would break- started smoking after 5min- lcd failed after 5min

Pros: - very elegant design- lcd not too bright- 2 spare temp probes provided - voltage control AND off position
Comment:
I really want to be objective here but my experience with this unit was not successful. After installation which was about 5min the unit lcd stopped working and it started to smoke. Now i know people will say that is a result of fans that are outside of the controllers specification, in particular the channel amperage. I connected 4 Gelid Solution Gamer fans 120 Green, rated by manufacturers specs at 0.22amps. The controller is rated at 1.00amp per channel, this is ample room for good performance.I understand people have had success with this product and i'm glad for them. I wish i was fortunate to share the same luck, however this is not the case. I really like the styling and hoped it would work. Perhaps this is part of a bad batch Scythe released?

Needed a simple device to control about 3 fans and this unit works well enough. It's simple, easy to use, and not blindingly bright like most controllers.

Cons: blue and green LED's clash

Pros: looks great, works great
Comment:
if it's in stock, get the Kaze Master Ace, otherwise, this is an EXCELLENT item. Other then the LEDs clashing with one another, it looks great and performs better

Cons: Knobs feel a little weak.

Pros: Looks. It works.
Comment:
Does what it is supposed to. Knobs feel a little weak, but that isn't much of an issue for me since they are protected my my door anyways. I could see this being an issue for some people though.Pricematched to $40 - great deal. This review was modfied by poster @ 04-18-09 10:34 PM

Cons: Fluctuating RPMRPM is actually Green, not bluePower connector with the molex had its pins pushed out

Pros: Nice LooksHas RPM and Temperature detection
Comment:
I freaked out for a bit when I powered up the fan controller for the first time and it beeped. No fans were spinning as well. As i took a closer look, it was the molex pins that have been pushed out. The 3 pins for the connector to the fans or labeled as #6 in the diagram, has loose connections. Fans will lose power unless u push the pins in hard.

Cons: None

Pros: - The LCD looks very cool- Easy to install/use- Very long cables and temperature sensors
Comment:
I have been using this fan controller for a week and I like it very much. The LCD looks awesome and it's very easy to install and use.The product pictures are a little bit misleading though. The first picture shows all the numbers in blue color, but mine displays temperature in blue and RPM in green. That's not an issue for me though, just want to point it out. The second picture shows the knobs are very long, but if you look closer you'll find that's just a mirror on its front panel. The knobs are short enough to sit behind the front door of my Antec Mini P180 case.Yes the price is a bit high but you can always get it when on sale or price match it, like I did. Cons: Edges are a little rough but nothing a front panel can't hide, or a sharpie.Fan nobs are kind of loose, or cheap, not sure.

Pros: For the price this is a great fan controller.Looks slick, and very easy to set up.
Comment:
This was very easy to install, and cable lengths for the fans is adequate. Same goes for the temp sensors. I've got this controlling four Yate Loons, and temp monitoring four hard drives. Works perfectly. This review was modfied by poster @ 10-21-08 07:15 PM

Cons: Nothing really

Pros: Looks GreatWorks like it's supposed to.Gives you great control over the fan speedsThe temperature display is nice
Comment:
I purchased this to replace the crappy Ultra fan controller I had previously, and I have to say, this one is amazing. The knobs are easy to use and the whole unit looks really slick. being able to turn the fans off is a nice feature too. The temperature gauges work fine (or at least as well as these types of gauges would allow). Overall I am very pleased with this and it looks like it should last a long while.

Cons: The temperture sensor sticker do not hold well.

Pros: It does reallly control the fan speed and even able to stop the fan.
Comment:
I have been using various types of fan controllers (Thermaltake, SilverStone...) and none of them is as good as this one. Some other fan controller can only slow down a bit of the fan speed which do not reduce fan noise. This one can give you total control of fan speed to reduce fan noise (air tunnel / turbance noise) to your need.I have been deploying this fan controller since June and this is the third one I install for my third pc.

Pros: Great fan controller with a nice display
Comment:
I used this to control 4 fans on my watercooled case, including 2 Ultra Kaze 3000RPM. Control is easy and it works very well. You can even stop a fan, which is a nice touch albeit never used it myself. The temperature sensors and display is a bonus for me and I used to control the case ambient and radiator in/out temp to see if it perform well.

Cons: -The color of the fan speed is GREENish (yuck)-The knobs are a little wobbly.

Pros: -Design looks very good-Knobs are sensitive
Comment:
All in all I'm happy with this fan controller. It does exactly what its supposed to do, and it looks good doing it. Except of course for the ugly greenish fan speed display. To clarify, the temp display is a beautiful blue color that would match most blue led fans, cathodes or what have you. Bu the fan speed display is a generic 'indiglo' green color, that doesn't match led blue, or green! If the display was ALL blue, this thing would be perfect.

This might not look as nice as the Zalman once with the dial and watt meter but it does its job very well. I hooked up everything and it just works. Its fairly easy to set up. Overall, its a nice fan controller for the price.

Great fan controller overall because of functionality and feature set. Would have liked it to work better with tooless drive bays and sleeve the cables for a nicer finish. Bit pricey compared to other fan controllers but has a much larger feature set

Cons: Price

Pros: Very nice lookingTemperature function greatRPM display is very useful
Comment:
This is a great fan controller for anyone who has a black case. The RPM display is incredibly useful for someone who has push/pull configuration on their heatsink to ensure no fan overspins the other. There are also thermo sensors that comes with this, and you can attach them virtually anywhere to give you a remote reading of temperature. Thumbs up to scythe.

Cons: Not so accurate temperature reporting. -The alarm

Pros: Simple, and sleek design. Price
Comment:
My case was overheating a lot, and I wanted something to help monitor things easily. This is pretty much useless for that. The alarm temp is set too low, and cannot be modified. The alarm noise, is really annoying ...so I disabled the feature 5 mins after installing it. I would recommend you turn it off before you put everything in, otherwise you end up installing the unit twice.Other than that, I wasnt too happy with the accuracy of the remperatures reported. Guarenteed the temps will be a few degrees lower that the actual internal temperature, due to the fact that you have to stick the sensors on the outside of whatever you want to monitor.

Cons: - Wish it was sleeved- A tad expensive

Pros: - Easy install- Beautiful black finish- Great temperature control
Comment:
The Scythe Kaze Master is truly a wonderful product. This fan controller goes above and beyond a normal dial fan controller. You can individually monitor each fan RPM and temperature because of the neat display screen. You can monitor 4 fans respectively. The fan controller itself is an amazing black finish, it compliments any black case very nicely. It's great for my Ultra Kaze which is a beastly 3000 rpm. I can tone it done whenever I like instead of listening to it full blast. Overall, a good product and I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

Cons: more fan controlls with buttons would have been super, and compatibility with other temp sensors as well.

Pros: Simple and easy controls, nice cold shade of blue and green or the display, knobs turn off fans.
Comment:
This if probably one of the best fan controllers out there, both look and feature. The digital display is elegant if somewhat sobdued, extra fan controlls would have been a welcome site through small buttons on the side, but thats nothing to destract from this pece of kit.

Cons: None that I can think of.

Pros: -Beautiful finish -Nice display -Easy to use and install
Comment:
This is the best fan controller I've ever used. It's got a classy look, and it's not gimmicky with lot of useless features or buttons. I especially like the fact that you can turn the fans completely off if I want to, as well as the annoying alarm that beeps when the fan speeds drop too low (controlled with a jumper). This product goes well with the the Scythe Slip-Streamed 120mm case fans I have in my Antec 300. Recommended.
