Fairly uncomplicated install, genuinely valuable set of wires and extras that come with. No troubles with the dials on the front, they really feel fantastic and are good and responsive. The lights aren't Also bright at evening. Even though I fully grasp why they produced this thing so short, but based on your case, this may possibly pop out of the bay. When trying to adjust the fan RPM's, I pressed too tough on the knob and the entire thing popped off the mount and went back. Only a single side is secured in with screws in my case. The other has a swift connect issue. So again, kinda the case's fault, not worth docking an egg.

-Lots of attributes for price-Alarm can be disabled-Switchable among C/F-Temp sensor inputs work with water temp sensor fittings (e.g. bitspower)-Straightforward to view RPM from many angles, temperature much less so due to RPM becoming considerably brighter -Plugging fan wires into PCB can be a challenge given that the ports are so close to each and every other. Needle nose pliers are a ought to. I just plugged all the cables in and ziptied the ones I wasn't employing whilst storing them behind the fan controller so that I wouldn't have to go by way of that again.-Appears to only allow 11V at max. Didn't comprehend til I watched Martin's Liquid Lab video of the very same fan (Scythe GT AP-15) and our RPM readings match at 11V. Scythe GT-AP15 on max is yielding 1710-1740 out of 1850RPM. Yate Loon High Speed D14SH is providing me 1860-1890 out of 2000. Verified when connecting just the tach signal wire to the Kaze Master and powering the fan from a pure 12V supply. It's capable of reading the full fan rpm variety, but not capable of powering it. Gorgeous fit and finish. Calls for some really inventive cable management tips. Tape for temperature sensors will not last on something that measures more than 49C.Look into a Lamptron FC5 if you are interested in this item- 30W per channel (can hook up several medium power fans to a single knob such as a set of radiator push/pull fans), customizable colour display and potential to show volts as nicely as temperatures. Display seems to not be as readable as the Scythe and stock temperature probes are not very good for any precision measurement.

Does what it's supposed to. Knobs for adjusting fan speed get in the way of my Coolermaster Cosmos 1000 door closing . I've noticed complaints of failures on the sensors and conrol of fan speed . I have had no challenges whatsoever .

* Can handle four fans with effortless.* Adjusting the speed, is just a twist away. * The lay out of the fan connection, is undesirable to say the least.* The tape supplied for the sensors, is inadequate.* Can't manage six fans. I have constantly spoken hugely of newegg, particularly for their amazing shipping practices. You could just inform they cared for each and every, and just about every package. When ever I opened up my new additions, I would see the invoice on leading, on a bed of mighty, mighty packaging peanuts. Which are defending my new additions totally. From top rated to bottom, side to side. And all was fantastic. Until this final delivery...When I opened this delivery, my new treasures have been staring back at me with no invoice to be identified, and so very unprotected. They have been laying on prime of some lowly old crumpled up paper. The box was in decent shape. This is the initially order ever that was delivered from Memphis, TN. (It has always been City Of Industry, CA) I don't know if that has something to do with it but, come on shipping is extremely very essential. I would have been P.O'ed if this was my upcoming 5870. And if it is, that vary well could be the end of this long lasting connection for this guy.

This issue appears so slick with my NZXT M59 case. The complete appear is amazing. The fan controller functions like I would expect, and the temperature displays look accurate. The probes had been easy to install and tuck away; you have to appear truly close by means of my case to come across them (except my GPU one, that was difficult to steer clear of being clear...). The cables have been plenty lengthy to go anyplace I wanted to go with slack to spare in order to move it around and place it into location properly. The tape on the probes sort of sucked, I truly had to smooth it out on my heatsinks with a flathead to get it to stick at all, and I'm not all as well certain how well it is holding. I may have to just take some Scotch to them or some thing next time I open my case, I'm not fairly certain genuinely. I also type of hate that to switch among F/C you have to switch pins on the inside of the technique when it is off... would be good to switch quickly as I would like to reference in each scales with no a calculator... Honestly I only purchased this for the temperature display, I don't care to handle my fans; nevertheless, I come across it kind of intriguing to mix it up and see how the fans actually influence temperatures. The color matches my light display perfectly, its so freakin' slick.

Uncomplicated to set up and overall quality is good. The temp sensor work good and the L.E.D. readout genuinely looks and functions wonderful. Matches my case finish completely, which is a Lian Li Pc-B71 all Aluminum and Black. The fan controller adjusment knobs ought to have been stronger. They feel a bit flimsy. They should have utilised the variety that you push in to hide. All round a great product for the income.

Good good quality, somewhat sophisticated, good colors. Further thermo leads and fan lead. Instruction manual fast to recognize, printed on thick glossy paper. Instruction manual has Japanese as the 1st selection language. The cpu temp against the heat sink has to be recalculated by extra 30 degrees compared to the bios temp. I'm somewhat offended to see English drop it's throne. I read some evaluations before receiving this and tagged all the leads to know what is what after it was installed. Wire management is no big deal, just twist it about every other or against other wires and use scotch tape.

Appears excellent, performs just like it says. Good for turning down fans when your not performing considerably and don't want the sound but turn them up for gaming. Semi-challenging to match into my HAF X. I don't know why but it was kind of tight(not a major dilemma even though, it just takes some time to get it in proper) Good item and would recommend it to any person.

Fits in cabinet nicely. Nice show. Controls the fans extremely nicely. Terrible manual, extremely vague in particular about placement and use of the thermal sensors. Orange led's glowing off and on from the left front panel and tiny ones on the knobs. See other thoughts. 165 degrees F seems awfully high for a cutoff. Mine had orange led's pulsating off/on on the knobs and upper left of the show. Since I had the audible alarm turned off I assumed this meant my temps have been higher although only showing 84 degrees F on the display. No mention of this in the manual. I emailed Scythe asking about the purpose of the led's. They at very first stated it was not their product. I had to e-mail back with a link to Newegg's item and also directed them to their own web site, item ACC-028. Lastly they acknowledged it was their item. They sent me an additional email saying the unitl need to be defective and to send it back. Still no explanation of what the orange led's have been for. They (Scythe) told me I had to pay return shipping prior to I could get a replacement. I thought that was not quite fair for what was a defective product. Newegg also wanted me to pay for return shipping. I just decided it was not with the hassle and will hold it.

Excellent show!!! Straightforward to study and understand, and man is it vibrant!!!. Appears couldn't be greater, if you have a black case with blue LED's this point will take it to the subsequent level. Nicely machined, fits fantastic in the five.25" bay of mine. Fan speed is precise, and from what I can inform so is the temp readout. Nobs are smooth to adjust and from the outside this issue feels solid, such as the mount which comes with four screws and I'm only employing two. The "adapted in size" three-pin cables also add a good deal of length to you fan cables already so space is a plus as well. No main forseeable challenges... Set up is not as straightforward as it sounds. I rated the design down on this 1 becasue of the three-pin connection location. It is crammed appropriate next to the side wall and between it and the capacitors, so unless you have the fingers of a newborn you wil will need a tool to get the adapted three-pin connector in (a screwdriver ought to suffice). The temp probe recepticles are also flimsy two-pin connections which are also crammed subsequent to one particular one more. Also, if this is your very first fan controller install, you will need to do a lot of wire pulling and reconfig to get this issue in location and every little thing neat and tidy. Beware of the BEEEP as effectively, it could wake up a deaf guy, despite the fact that it is a thoughtful function. Make certain your fans have a full 3-pin connector, not just a separate sensor. I didn't recognize this about my fans which had the energy integrated into the molex and now I can only monitor the fan speed and temp without controlling the speed, till I get new fans. I blame the fans even though not the controller for this inconvenience. Also if you require to adjust anything I suggest pulling the controller out through the front for simple access, because re-running the cables and connecting them once more is almost not possible from inside the case. The use of it as a monitor though is nonetheless incredibly good. I would recommend this to any person, nonetheless, be a little additional weary about this product than you may be currently...

*Great display (No light bleeding) easy to study*Well made, the aluminum faceplate appears great and doesn't really feel fragile*Able to switch between C and F*Adjustments are sensitive and accurate, you don't have to turn the knob a lot to modify the fan speed.*No difficulties with larger 200mm, 140mm and 120mm fans. *Plugs are close with each other, tough to access. Even though simply remedied by checking the plug ins with the but ends of two pens/pencils. *Heat sensor tape could be far better, but its tape, effortlessly replaceable. At least it doesn't leave residue behind. I put this in my Haf 922 case and due to its tool-significantly less bay locks, it will wobble on the suitable side, easily fixed with a single screw on that side.Constantly plug in the wires and heat sensors prior to you place the controller in, or prepare to play operation.

-Capable to see the fan RPM and temps-Easy to use-Modify from C to F -Only 12W per channel, but I knew this-a bit of a tight fit in my CM690ii-Incredibly tough to plug in the fan connectors into the controller-Unable to energy the fans to max, even though close. This fan controller is great, but seriously, plugging in the fan connectors was a fantastic discomfort. I'm controlling two 140's and 2 120's with this and this lowered the temp of just about every component inside my rig by 2 degrees C at least. Also, I would propose this to any individual with a case with cable management due to the fact it can get messy inside.

Consequently i gave it 4 eggs for the defect

Not overly vibrant on the LED display...The unit don't really feel low-cost like other controller's i dealt with.Six in total temp wires(four can only be employed)so two extra is good.Capable to adjust the temp readings to C to F via a jumper.I'm pleased, excellent obtain compared to the other selections out there. Temp wire cease operating for me(temp defaults to 32 F when that occurs) when i had to rearrange it for my case(good point it came with additional). So be cautious when moving them wires around.Slight delay about 1-two secs on RPM adjustment. All 4 of the fan controller pins are on the right side next to metal side. You will need fingers the size of a child to put them in.(mini screwdriver solved that challenge) All in all it's a good controller...Some slight annoyance esp the fan pins(which docked an egg)but it does the job in style.

I thought this issue was going to be a ghetto pile of import junk, but it's nothing at all of the sort. It's nicely documented, temperature nodes and tape for every connection, and it performs without having challenge. No cons. If you are buying a new modern case with 120mm fans everywhere, you will need this fan controller. Motherboards just don't have the sockets to fit 10 optimistic pressure fans. This controller augments that problem nicely.

Good hunting add-on to the HAF932 Case! Great to be in a position to monitor the fan speeds and peripheral temps. Somewhat fragile. Believed a single of the knobs was going to fall off throughout install. The sticky tape for the sensors doesn't stick to something, even right after cleaning locations with alcohol. Had to use my own double sided tape. Not confident about accuracy of temps as it's quite tough to uncover areas to place sensors and tape them down. Truly taped the CPU sensor on the backside of the MOBO.Max Fan Speeds seem low...700-750 maximum (any thoughts right here?) Not positive if it actually has a "practical use". Possibly just for bling? One particular point for positive, combined with the HAF932 case and it's four fans...points are running rather cool man!

Fantastic display! Colors are excellent for any blue colored case (which is pretty a lot every thing aftermarket these days). Viewable at each angle, precise RPM (see cons) and precise temperature probes.Don't make the similar mistake I did even though. The controller essentially comes with 3 pin cable adapters which go from typical 3 pin to smaller three pin which plugs into this device. It is about a foot or so long and can attain most fans in your case devoid of any required extensions (unless you are making use of a full tower like myself). When I bought this item, the picture of the incorporated cables was not there, so I presumed it did not come with any and purchased a bunch just in case. This is still a fantastic practice to do considering that obtaining too quick of cables day of the construct is very, extremely annoying and inconvenient. It also comes with a molex to floppy adapter for plugging into the device which gives a bit of leeway becoming that it is a front mounted device. The alarm would be excellent if the unit was accurate... At the 3 month mark, the second channel RPM started giving me incorrect numbers. Occasionally it would say it was spinning at -600 (which my fans I know from expertise don't hold spinning anyplace below 750), from time to time at over 9000 (even Vegeta couldn't believe that 1). three.five months in, the second channel temperature was no longer precise.four months in, the energy to the second channel began to flicker in and out occasionally. Though annoying, my system has plenty of damaging pressure to retain the case temperate without my front fans.5 months in, the RPM and temperature for the first channel stopped becoming correct, which just so happens to be my CPU channel (!). five.5 months in, the second channel is no longer controllable at all, it goes at whatever speed it feels like. It doesn't change rapidly, but still a bit ridiculous.7 months in, the CPU channel is no longer controllable. First two channels are now effectively useless. Front fans occasionally won't even commence spinning... Cons(Cont.): The fan controller runs quite hot; I am not overdrawing from it either. It is rated at 1 amp per channel and I am utilizing .48, .48, .24 and .28 (the first two channels are working with two fans). These are ALL Properly Below their rated specifications and must have been fine. The cost for getting cheaply for a fantastic quantity of functions I guess.Other Thoughts: As I know a lot about electrical energy and how it functions in respect to most points, I can tell you appropriate now why this controller failed. Clearly, since Scythe makes all of their goods in China and Taiwan, they cheated out on potentiometers and purchased low quality and power ones (hence overdraw). This leads to the fantastic amount of heat produced. This in the end leads to the potentiometer's failure and eventually loss of manage. If I can give any tips to novice or even skilled builders, always acquire controllers rated nicely above what you need to have. You can tell a product is nicely produced by that function alone.

looked very good for the 2 seconds it worked. ordered this unit twice, both occasions the controller turned on, but blew out within two-3 seconds of activation. Either each of the unite have been undesirable (doubt it) or my technique is just as well strong for it (most probably). possibly its just out-dated tech for newer systems, constructed to play higher end games flawlessly. Appear for a controller that will run on todays energy gaming rigs. Pay a bit more for one thing that can manage it.

I then can crank up the fans when playing games or other intense applications.I have not but knowledgeable the alarm going off to know if that works.
