Cons: they really cheaped out on this over the years, requires minor mods

Pros: slightly modified version of the legendary portapro driver, price, lifetime warranty
Comment:
They really cheaped out one these headphones over the years. The cable they use now has the cheaper ipod style plug and is really flimsy. They also must have done something to the ear pads, as they cause the headphones to sound slightly veiled and muddy. Ear clips also pop out very easily now.Fortunately the sound from the drivers is still very good, a quick bit of googling and you can find mods to improve the sound drastically.I get very treble sensitive and simply cannot handle headphones with strong treble. These are pretty much the only exception, they have a very nice "sparkle" to the high end. Clear, distinct, and strong, but not ear piercing at all.

Cons: a bit difficult to put it on

Pros: very comfortable and good sound quality
Comment:
I was looking for a pair of headphones for less than $20. I don't like the regular type of earbuds as they keep falling off of my ears, so I wanted to try something different. I listen to the radio a lot while I am cycling. So far so good.

Cons: Seemingly low quality

Pros: Affordable, decent sound (bass isn't as great as some reviews are saying)
Comment:
Right after unboxing this, I thought I'd have already broken it. The design looks alright, not anything extraordinary. Covers most ranges, I'm satisfied with that as higher and lower ends tend to get drowned out on the bus anyway (unless if you have noise cancelling, which this doesn't). I can see why some people would say "Wearing this for longer periods of time will cause discomfort on your ears", BUT this is probably due to a design failure in ease of use. Since I have similar products, I'm more or less gotten used to this product already. Been wearing these for 3 hours now, seems to be OK. IMO, the overall rating on NCIX reflects the value of this product (which I got on sale for $20 tax included). Definitely satisfied.

Cons: A lot of sound leaks out of the backEar clips can fall offFoam pads can get dusty/dirty

Pros: Good fitGreat soundQuality cord
Comment:
I have owned multiple pairs of this headset, and the sound quality is very good. I am always impressed by the sound stage and frequency response. I find the representation of the music to be true to how it should sound, providing accurate reproduction of bass, treble and mid frequencies. The major problems are the ear clips, which tend to snap off. you can snap them back in, but they are never the same, you just have to be careful if you have them in your bag or pocket. They also leak quite a bit of sound, so the people sitting beside you on the bus or subway will be able to hear your tunes pretty clearly.Overall, these are great headphones for the price. If you are spending less then $80 on headphones, don't buy anything else.

Cons: -would look better in black-leak sound

Pros: -great sound quality for price-comfortable and adjustable
Comment:
I bought these because earbuds make my ears sore after a few hours while these do get slightly uncomfortable after maybe 5+ hours, you can always adjust them. The sound quality is incredible for 15-20 bucks. Great bass, good highs and mids. I would definitely recommend these over pretty much any pair of earbuds or other earphones of this type. However they would look much better in black imo, but for the price, you can't complain.

Cons: - Uncomfortable to wear when just out of the box- Ear clip part can be a bit fragile- Leaks sound as they are open ear headphones

Pros: - Amazing sound quality and bass- Very comfortable after extended use- Doesn't heat up ears- Low price
Comment:
I have been searching for a pair of headphones for a while now as they tend to provide much richer sound quality then earbuds do. Unfortunately, headphones with leather padding tend to overheat my ears making it unbearable to wear for long periods of time. Headphones with good sound quality are also quite expensive.I eventually found the Koss KSC75 and read some reviews about it. I decided to give them a try and bought them when they were on sale for $20. Initially, these earclip headphones were extremely uncomfortable to put on and I almost considered returning them the same day. The earclip would occasionally pop off as well when I tried to put it on. However, the sound quality was fantastic and provided great bass so I decided to give it a chance. The sound quality compares to some of the higher priced headphones. After several days the earclips started to conform to the shape of my ear. By a week I was able to put them on snugly without having to adjust them. The earclip no longer popped out as well since I didn't have to adjust it when putting it on. I've now had these headphones for 2 months and the next time they go on sale at NCIX I plan on buying a second pair. The sound quality is great and they now fit so snugly I don't even realize I am wearing them. I also had no problem wearing them for long periods as they didn't heat up my ears. It also doesn't mess up your hair (I spike my hair) like headphones do. So are you on the fence on whether to buy these or not? I strongly recommend you give these earclip headphones a chance. Wear them for at least a week before you consider returning it as they will slowly become more comfortable. I guarantee that you will not be disappointed!

Cons: Uncomfortable, the handler keep "knocking" out.

Pros: Sound pretty good for its price.
Comment:
I got it for 16.99$ on sale. The sound quaility of this headphone is fine(it can compare to some brand name 70~80$ headphone). However, its design make it very uncomfortable to wear, especially people with med/small size ear.

I don't like these and would not buy them again.Sound is good but they are not comfortable and the clip comes off the headphone all the time and have to be snapped in again and again, drives me crazy.Would give it one start but don't feel like looking for the receipt.

I picked these up for easy listen when walking around or whatnot (just as other people did). They have good sound, but they are pretty uncomfortable. The clips can't be adjusted and it's also weird/uncomfortable putting them on. Their quality also feels a bit cheap.

Pros: + Fidelity is incredible for what it is+ Comfort+ Fairly rugged
Comment:
I needed something to wear primarily for ripping around town on my bike, and these bad boys fit the bill: sound quality is better than expected (even after reading the reviews), I barely feel them on my ears, and the phones are open enough that I'm not completely isolated from the world around me.Comes with cons though: depending on your ears the actual speaker may be farther away then you would like, and open soundstage = music bleeding out. While I have to turn the damn things down on the bus, it's a small tradeoff for such a decent set of headphones.Grab them on sale and I'm willing to bet that they will become your go to phones when out and about.

Cons: Uncomfortable with glassesOpen design

Pros: Good priceSound quality
Comment:
After reading countless people mentioning about the amazing sound quality of the KSC75's for the money, I had to pick up a pair for myself to see just how good they were. For the price, I would have to agree that the sound is quite good. The quality and sound signature is something I prefer but there is still room for improvement. Again, for the price though, I can't complain.A couple things I did notice though was that, with glasses, it can get a little uncomfortable as the clips do have to go around your ears. Also, the earphones do have an open design so sound does leak out. I'm personally not a fan of having people hearing what I'm listening to (and quite frankly, I get a little annoyed when I can hear what others are listening to) so, this is a negative in my books. I don't mind it though if I'm just sitting around at home listening to stuff.

For 20 bucks or even cheaper when it's on sale, you can't go wrong with this set of headphones especially these clip design. The sound quality is superb for the price. The sound is very clear. You can make out the deepest bass and treble levels. The clips are a bit uncomfortable at the moment for me but I still haven't adjusted it perfectly to fit my ear yet. The design is a bit ugly but I'm using it at home for general listening so it's not a huge issue.

Cons: clip might be uncomfortable, design might not appeal to some,

Pros: portable, scales well with amplification, excellent mids, revealing, good soundstage, lightweight
Comment:
I heard all the hype about these before purchasing. I compare these with my Sennheiser HD595 and PX100, and Grado SR60. To me I prefer the KSC75 over px100, and it falls just short of SR60. I prefer the bass of these out of all the phones I have though. These cans provide good detail and clarity. The soundstage appears larger than the px100, but cannot match the HD595. It has a forward sound which is much more appealing to me than the laid back sound of the px100. This makes music sound more exciting and immediate to me. The KSC75 does even better with amplification and one needs to try this to hear its potential. The thing I don't like about these is the clips. While they are reasonably comfortable (if you bend it to match your ear shape) they don't press against the ears hence the bass is slightly diminished. If these were available with headbands they would be both more comfortable and the sound would improve. Overall, this is a great headphone. It's a modder's dream. I can only imagine how much better it would be with a headband, rewiring, "Kramer mod", and attached to a portable amp. The KSC75 is highly recommended and hi-fi enthusiasts should give these a try.

Cons: - delicate in ear clip design- open design- not that atractive

Pros: - reasonably comfortable to wear- good bass- Koss lifetime warranty- great value for the money
Comment:
The sound quality is very good which is really name of the game here. They won't win an award for looks but again, less important than the sound! The ear clips are a little tricky at first to put on - rotating them on to your ears seems to work the best. Also the clips appear a tad fragile however there is the lifetime warranty. No sound isolation means everyone around you will hear your music so maybe not the best choice for train/bus/plane rides unless you a sound exhibitionist...Efficiency is ok on iPod 160Mb. Whereas the stock iPod ear buds can make your ears bleed nearly - these can't be really cranked. In the long run, you won't end up a hard of hearing old man/woman years later.

Pros: - Open Phones, more sound stage- Cheap!- Light- Comfortable- Good Bass
Comment:
This is a very nice set of open but portable clip-phones, this would be a good starting cans if you wish to get into headphones. There are plenty of people rave about these, believe them, it's true.If you match this with a decent DAC and amp, these cans transform into a much better set of headphones. Bought on special for $14. believe the hype, these are some of the best headphones money can buy at ANY price.Exceptional sound quality. Deep bass and nice mids and highs. The highs aren't piercing and overpowering like some SONY headphones I've owned. Overall these have a very pleasant sound and you can listen to them for hours. No isolation to speak of which makes them useless on the bus where you cant to block out engine drone and stupid conversations of the other other passengers. However, lack of isolation is good if you're walking around or on your bicycle. You can hear your music and you can maintain situational awareness. (Very important when cycling).Oh, and profile is... aerodynamic enough so you don't get ridiculous wind noise.... they sound better than most earbuds when biking as a result.Lifetime warranty applies to these.BUY THEM DON'T HESITATE!

Pros: - Awesome sound quality
Comment:
These are basically the KING of cheap headphones. I have nowhere near the headphone collection that some people have to compare them to, but I do own a couple. I own a pair of AKG K518DJ and Sennheiser HD 212 Pro. The highs and mids from the KSC75 are comparable to the K518DJs which cost about $50 more. The KSC75s are also highly modable. Do youself a favor if you're considering purchasing these and go over to head-fi.org, search for "ksc75", and read through a couple of the numerous posts. There's mods to add different headbands, add isolation, and improve certain aspects of sound quality.

Cons: Clips are only "ok". They are actually fairly quiet on max via my iPod, then again, I was also driving a loud vehicle.

Pros: Lightweight, Good Bass, Good Treble, Good Audio Quality and response, nice design, cheap
Comment:
The clips work perfectly fine, but the first time you take them out you will probably hit them off. Its not a big deal, and they work fine.A negative is the the fact it doesn't contain the music AT ALL, the music comes out the other side almost as loud as through the speaker-side. Its annoying when your around others.

Good sound for the price. The ear clip design is a joke. It hangs away from my ear not against it. Worst, the speakers keep popping off the ear loop. Advice: Use a bag for these or you'll be looking for your loops. Missing the right loop as I type this. Think I'll go look for it :-/
