2GB DDR2-400 REG ECC DIMM SR NO RETURNS NO CANCELS

Excellent cost compares to HP RAM. Can't get MAX RAM with these modules I bought them thinking they would function in my technique as they are listed as SINGLE RANK. In my system it has a max of 4 dual-rank modules. The max RAM is 12GB, but I can only get to 8GB making use of these modules in a DL380 G4. So, not positive why if they are single rank why I can't use them all.

We necessary to max out the memory on a HP ProLiant DL380 G4 and to get to the max of 12GB we necessary to either obtain a mix of dual and single rank, or just 6 single rank dimms. I bought 6 of these and replaced the 4GB of RAM in the server (mix of 512MB and 1GB dimms).All 6 DIMMs we bought perform perfectly and the server is much better than ever because of the upgrade. N/A Shipping took as well extended in my opinion. It seems like whenever an order ships from Industry California USA that it takes much longer to get into Canada. I wish that we had paid for the express shipping but then again with no recognizing exactly where the order will ship from is very limiting. If attainable it would be useful to know exactly where the order will ship from to come to a decision on the shipping system.

Unknown Unknown This is SINGLE-RANK RAM. Numerous servers have diverse specifications on what slots you can place 2R and 1R RAM into, so I looked it up on Kingston's web site.
