I got two sets of it, the 1st wouldn't ever be recognized by the pc (even though i know its compatible) and the second (the one I got from Kingston as a replacement for the old a single) wouldn't even let the laptop boot. I utilized this RAM set to upgrade from 512MB and the computer system no longer feels crippled.
