Cons: performance

Pros: Reliable (over 2 years now)Works with another Brand(OCZ)of ram.
Comment:
Regular compatible Ram (in with OCZ Value Series PC3200 DDR400 CL2.5-4-4-8 184PIN DIMM Memory). Reliable and it works for regular desktop use. I would use these in an (old school) gaming machine since this is what I use them in (and my mother board only runs them at DDR333).

Cons: Performance?

Pros: CheapWarranty
Comment:
Just your regular cheap ram. Nothing too special really but it's reliable and it works. Wouldn't use this in a gaming machine (clearly, seeing how it's only DDR400 :)) but for just your regular desktop use it's great. Used a couple of these in computers for my family and it gave them a nice performance boost over 512MB

Pros: CheapDecent performance
Comment:
At the price they sell memory these days, it's easy to put 2 GB or more in your computer. I bought this set over a year ago (it could have been 2 years ago???), and with windows XP, the performance is terrific. It allows me to multitask without my system slowing down. This may not be the best memory sticks for heavy gamers, but for everyday use, it's worth the money.

Cons: Being basic ram - no copper heat spreaders or anything

Pros: Good BrandGood Price for DDR Ram (althought ddr2 ram is even cheaper..grr)Good warranty
Comment:
Gday. I always use NCIX to research comp stuff, even though i live in Australia. I just ordered a pair of these sticks from amazon because they were cheaper, but if i had the choice i would always choose NCIX. Price diff was significant at the time though sorry.Anyways, I bougth this to replace my OCZ 2X512 performance ram, because 1 year later i find out the cause to all my BSOD crashes etc was because my ram was not on the compatible list with my Asus A8n-sli prem. board.I also have no idea how to OC ram, so not having that option for me makes no difference. Factory settings is fine with me :-DSince i put these in my system has been rock solid. Not one crash. Things do boot quicker now. I dont see a massive difference in speed to what i was expecting as apposed to when i had 1 gig, but the other ram was very $$ grade performance ram.Im running Vista Premium, and my RAM usage was always around 80% with 1 gig. Now its around 50% so its nice to have that buffer level and not have the system struggling as much. More and more demanding things are to come in the future.I reckon bang for your buck this seems a great deal. And for $155au delivered to Aust. i was happy. Although i did see Samsung 2 x 1gig ram on ebay for $90au delivered and its on the compatible list to my ram. Grr. I guess you pay for the trusted name brand of kingston. Still happy This review was modfied by poster @ 09-18-07 12:44 AM

Cons: it's not as good quality as there next 2 steps of ram. Kingston sells 3 types (quality) of ram this (value ram) being their lowest quality. If your on a budget then this is the ram for you.

Pros: made by kingston
Comment:
Kinston ram is good ram but I prefer to pay a bit more for a higher quality kingston product. It would be nice if NCIX sold dif qualities of the same ram. This review was modfied by poster @ 06-29-06 11:39 AM

Pros: Perfect deal if you are not into overclocking
Comment:
this ram is perfect if you don,t plan to overclock. It will offer very good performance. The timings are a little high but you won't see any ^big^difference with high end memory
