I know Kingston is a very good corporation. The cost for this set of RAM was wonderful. came with half a dead ram stick..but my client was ok with it, thinking about he ran vista on only 1 gig or ram. so to run on 3.5 gigs he was content material. i still think Kingston is amazing. Good Price tag. |

Affordable. Was sluggish at first then I remembered 24 hours is regular burn-in. Popped into an HP shop-purchased, runs wonderful now. Wife loves it for gaming. No heatspreaders, but my other ram doesnt have them either so not actually a huge deal. Kingston has always had great ram for cheapskates like myself. This isn't gamer ram but I don't think you'll see a massive difference in performance. I can't tell a difference among my wife's computer and mine. |

Runs good with my ASUS M2R32-MVP motherboard. I installed 8GB with no problems. None so far, I'm hoping the RAM doesn't get as well hot, I thought about further cooling, but they are not more than-clocked, so they should be fine, my case has excellent air-flow. I do a lot of multimedia design work, so I constantly have a number of applications up at the same time that consume up memmory, these deal with fantastic! |

Excellent upgrade for my Dell XPS 400. Went from 1gb of 533mhz to 4gb of 667mhz. Installed into the mobo devoid of a hitch, BIOS recognized it right away. Running Windows Vista Ultimate 64bit nicely. Lost keyboard functions after set up. Motherboard would only recognize my USB keyboard as a USB hub and not as a keyboard. Fortunately with the use of the on-screen keyboard I was in a position to reinstall the keyboard driver and get back to computing. Not worth knocking an egg off though, just a hiccup. Doesn't mix well with 533mhz sticks of ram from my old build. Tried to max out all four slots @ 5gb but the old sticks are 533mhz and new Kingston ram is 667mhz. Oh well. |

Running 6GB dual channel now! No heat sink but they are cheap to add on. Kingston is great trusted Ram. Added this to my other 2x1gb kingston dimms. If you are possessing concerns acquiring dual channel to operate make positive your BIOS is compatible and you have an equal quantity of ram in the dimm slots. ie: dimm a1 + dimm a2 = dimm b1 + dimm b2 ... and so on if you have far more than four slots! |

I bought two kits Ƙ GB) that perform effectively in my Asus P5E. I did have some challenges but Kingston support was especially responsive. The price is relatively good! A single of the kits had buggy modules but it was replaced with a get in touch with to Kingston. I had some troubles for the duration of kernel compiling and other processes that would randomly fail. I ran Memtest and discovered that the second kit had at least one particular buggy module. I known as Kingston directly and had an RMA within ten minutes. They sent me a FedEx shipping label by way of e mail at no expense to me. I shipped the RAM back on Friday and had a replacement kit by Thursday. Good deal for the price. Got this mem when on sale for 85 dollars. Very best deal about. My Vista box has definately noticed an boost in boot time and response time. none. I run a couple of VPC's and they memory is almost under no circumstances pegged.
