Bought this to double the ram in my new netbook. Installed in 2 minutes, and was immediately recognized by both Windows 7 Starter and Home Premium. Pleased with the purchase. |

This product is just what I expected. I have purchased Kingston products many times in the past and I have always been pleased with their performance. This and PNY are the first brands I check. I was upgrading my Dell XPS from 1 GB to 2 GB so Windows 7 would be happier. On the Dell XPS the first memory slot is under the keyboard and requires the removal of battery to access the screws to pop the top and remove the keyboard. Sounds difficult, but it was very easy using the step by step instructions in the Dell manual. Took me about 10 minutes the first time and I could probably due it again in under 2 minutes. If you buy more memory and the easy to access memory slot on the bottom of your Dell is empty - don't be fooled. The first memory slot is the one under the keyboard! Don't mix memory types ( e.g. 512 MB and 2 GB.) It may run (mine did!), but you are asking for problems. Remember, its not bad luck - its poor judgment! |

I needed to expand my HP DV6000 CTO from 2G to 4G. Ordering was easy, good status on the order and shipping info. Kingston SODIMMs went right in without incident and in a matter of 5 minutes or less I was running at max RAM for a 32 bit OS. |

All I can tell you is that it works, Price was Right, And it was easy to put in to this computer I am using right now. For what I do the speed is fantastic. Not bad for a NetBook. Good Job Tiger. |

For those that gave bad review this Dimm works fine price is good but please take time to see how much your system can work with . I have the 64bit windows 7 in a Dell M4400 quadcore and this was just the ticket I needed as it opened up the laptop. Not even close to maxing out ram now and it worked in the picky dell! |

I have always been pleased with Kingston memory. It tends to be a few dollars more than some of the others, but in my opinion it's worth the extra buck or two. TigerDirect does a great job as well. |

What can you say? Either memory works all the time or it doesn't. Close doesn't count. And better has no meaning. And it is either resonably priced or it isn't. Kingston has fit the bill with me before and with this unit also. They seems to consistently make a good product. |

I purchased 2 sticks and have been very pleased at the increased performance. Shipping was delayed due to backorder by two days. Worth the wait! |

Since I installed the Kingston 2 GB module, my netbook runs faster and does not hang up when I multitask. The module is reliable, the cost was reasonable, and Tiger's service was fine. |

I was told this memory would work in my HP Compaq, but my computer wouldn't take it. Turns out that I could only add 1GB with a 32 bit system. This might be a good product, but it wasn't compatible with my PC. |

This memory is outstanding! While if you research or ask around, almost nobody knows if PC6400 will work in any laptop, I can confirm that as least Kinston PC6400 will work on an Acer 5050 with any of the Turion CPU's. I asked the tech guys at TG and they didn't think it was compatible and gave me the number for Kinston, and I finally had to talk to an engineer who didn't see why it wouldn't be compatible (they haven't tested it, and didn't plan to). So I got 2 sticks of 1GB and tried it out. Works perfect, I can confirm 400Mhz dual channel memory speed (800Mhz double data rate) based on CPU-z and sisSandra benchmarks. This is almost like overclocking your laptop without any heat issues, and even raised my Vista memory rating to the highest at 5.9! So, if you have a laptop running a Turion CPU, chances are very good that you can upgrade to PC6400 and get a good boost in performance....and the best part is that it costs about the same as the slower PC5400! |
Got this faster than I thought I would and installed with no problems. Twice the memory is wonderful!
