After several hours of playing with this card I finally got it to work. Update you video codec's before installing this device. never did get fire-wire to work. If using in a professional setting buy another product.

I thought this card would be good, but couldnt even try it because it doesnt work on Windows Vista and 7, and I tried to download the drive or at least get a information from KWORLD the company who makes it and They dont even have this product listed on their web site, it means that who ever did this product dont want take the responsibility. that's really bad

I was looking for something to replace my old Firewire capture that suddenly stopped working. I stumbled upon this little product and for the price I couldn't go wrong. I thought it was time to try something differn't. This PCI card installed quickly and Windows XP SP3 installed it right away using the supplied CD when Windows couldn't find all the drivers. I started capturing with my capture program moments after installation. I then installed the PVR Plus Product for TV Features (which I did not buy the card for) but are a VERY Nice bonus. I then noticed that the Software provided PVR functions which worked nicely. Using the PVR Plus software you can even switch between the differn't analogue inputs. The 5.25 box providing AV Inputs on the front of the card are very nice no more reaching behind with a flashlight trying to find the hole. I might just have the 5.25 bay positioned externally in order to prevent a VCR cord from going accross the flor.

I have been using this on my XP unit for awhile and had no complaints. Then I upgraded to a Vista unit and found out this wouldn't work. So I contacted their tech support, and within a few hours got a reply back the new drivers. Now I am 110% happy!!!

I've tried to use ATI All-In-Wonder cards for watching TV and capturing video for years. Had constant problems with the software and every couple of years the cards fail. Finally tried this card. Software installed easily and works great. The remote works as it should. The capture quality may not be quite as good as the ATI, but it's close and absolutely hassle free. It's incredibly cheap by comparison making it a really good value.

I bought a video product from K-World a few months ago and have since had endless problems getting the software CD that was missing replaced by them. They do accept that I bought the product but I have been caught between them playing games between Taiwan and their US office with the result that I have been waiting for more than 8 weeks for the software. Be warned - buy a product with decent support - you might need it...

Unfortunately, KWorld seems to have dropped support for this product and doesn't even mention it on their site. It's says something about a company when it won't even mention older products on its site much less provide any support or access to older drivers and software. I've had this product for a while but can't give it a high rating or really any rating when it's manufacturer won't provide long term support. I was looking at KWorld's newer products but ... I don't think so. No product is any better than the the support you get.

I bought this K World Card about two months ago and its been working great for me. Also works with Linux Ubuntu 64-bit. Actaully looks better in Linux then Windows XP Pro. I had some problems getting the sound to work... never got that to work with Windows XP but worked fine in Linux Ubuntu. Before I had this card, my inputs worked for sound. But now I have it, they've never worked... Even tried reloaded all the drivers (RelTek, Gigabyte mobo, and K world Capture card). I'm 14 years old and I say ''BUILD ON!''

It worked excellent on windows xp, now that I'm running vista however it works to a limited extent. vista premium switches over to basic, but you can't use the maximize button or it errors you have to manually size the window and still have all the bars and junk on the screen. As far as vista drivers I'm about as clueless as the next guy.

Bought this in January '07 after checking Kworld's web site regarding Vista drivers. At the time their site promised Vista drivers would be made available. At present (July '07)their newly revised site no longer even mentions this item let alone provide Vista drivers. I sent Kworld an email asking what the status of this item was and have had no response of any kind. If you're running XP, and do not plan on upgrading to Vista, then this is an 'ok' item at best. If you run Vista, or plan on upgrading to Vista, then forget this item. It will be a waste of money!

Mine doesn't work with Vista Ultra and I can't find drivers on their web page. Why not!!! Is there a work-around for it? It works fine on XP Pro.

Good quality product includes everything you need to get started. Quality is the best you can expect for standard television resolution, unless your computer/processor can't handle the load (not so good on 900 mhz, works great on 1.8 ghz). Also seems to work fine with Windows Vista.

Great box. I have an external switch box that up-converts all analog to S-Video and have that plugged into this. No cbl swaping needed. The 16-16 pin cbl is ok but the other cable needs to be at least 2-3 inches longer. If you pull too hard trying to connect it to the card, it pulls out of the back of the box and you have to take the thing out of the case and reconnect it. Otherwise, a great buy.

Works good, you may need to download user installation manual from Cyberlink for more details, it does seem to conflict with my new ''Trendnet'' wireless adapter though, I have to reboot or use XP ''repair'' function before the wireless adapter sees my wireless router. What a hassel, I'm going to install a 2nd HDD for a dual boot system, one for the TV tuner and the other for Internet. Small price to pay for compatability.

Bought this for a capture card b/c I loved the drive bay in the front of my case. And from the looks of it, you could possibly use the bay with the supplied enclosure and have it external, meaning you won't have to use up a drive bay. Quality for TV is nice, not HD mind you but still good for the price.

I will tell you it's nice to be able to watch tv on my PC. I bought this for the features. Will be doing recording off of video camera. If you are looking to buy this make sure you have a Sound card installed first. Had to wait four days for mine to show up. Then after it was installed, and figured out.I was able to hook up my tv tuner card. In my case it was not so simple too place jack and plug in header. Had to CAREFULLY drill a hole in it. So my screwless case pin would secure it. The card went into pci slot easy. The software installed easy too. Took some serious guess work to have the sound card i bought and the tuner card to interact with each other. The Creative Audigy 2 Value seems to work well. The price was right. And NEWEGG!! gave me a twenty five dollar rebate. I will end this saying one thing. Microsoft I have a Media center PC with out buying your crap!!!

Great Product! This was the first TV Tuner I have purchased and I am very pleased. Everything installed really easily, the included software is amazing, and the channels change very fast compared to others that I have seen. Overall a great product. I would suggest adding this to your collection. Again, Great Product!!!!

I am going to have agree with whoever was talking about the channel switching time. But, its a small price to pay because the compatibilty and the features that this tuner provides is amazing. Besides, there are way too many pros to this tuner and i can only think of one or two tiny cons. I'm going to college this year and this is a must for my computer because I can make a media center out of my computer by playing xbox and watching tv on it which saves tv space. I can also record shows like tivo so i wont miss them while i'm in class. The time-shifting mode is amazing. Overall, I give this tuner two thumbs up for awesomeness!

This unit is awesome - when I bought it I didnt get the bundle with the 5.25 drive bay add on (for 100 bucks). Perfect video quality when streaming S-Video from DVD player. When using Coaxial Cable, only video can be captured - but I am extremely happy with this card.

The picture quality of this card is great. BUT, the software it is supplied with is terrible. While it installed without a hitch, it is very slow. I have mine installed in a 3.2 GHz P4 with RAID 0 hard drives, and 1gB of ram. The time switching between stations is awful, about 2 seconds between each channel; not good for channel surfing. Also the remote will ONLY work for the tuner while the PowerVCR program is working, meaning it will not play DVD's ever, and the volume control is non existant outside the program. However, the video bay is a big plus since i'm picky about having stray cords/breakout boxes lying about.
