Extremely Good Case indeed...Incredibly roomy, simply install MB and drives with ease..I enjoy all of the fans, as I have purchased various 900 and 902s in the previous, but this case surely takes the cake. I adore the mesh design which permit maximum air flow. Certainly advocate this case to any technique builder, it looks good and is effortless to make. The floating hard drives are sweet, it is kind of like playing with a teeter totter until you get your cables all connected but it need to level out (at least mine did). The HDs stay much cooler. I placed mine directly in the center of the fan in the front so it would stay cooler. Clever thought by Antec here...They could be a tiny additional sturdier in my opinion even though...Other than that, Fantastic case from Antec, thank you! It doesn't include a 3.5 to 5.25 adapter!! Come on Antec, most of my customers want memory card readers, which are usually 3.5" You should include at least a single of these with the case...Also, the case looks incredibly good and imply on the front till you have to take off the covers to place your optical drives in. Then it looks type of boring mainly because it is just plain metal bars with empty screw holes. You need to make adapters that go around the optical drive so the case nevertheless looks mean on the top rated front... Great Case, bottom line, I will undoubtedly get 1 once again...

- Large enough to get the job completed for any develop style.- 15 fan max will give much more than ample air flow.- Open area interior without having blockage by unnecessary garbage.- Appears sturdy but I dont strategy on placing excessive weight on it to crush it. It did manage fifty pounds of weight on top rated of it with no problems. - After 5 days of work over e mail and telephone with Antec I was lastly informed that if you request extra screws for the motherboard installation or fan installations that Antec does not however sell extra screws. They informed me that two screws per fan that comes with the case and no extras beyond that is additional than enough for any build. They would not permit me to pay for extra screws therefore proving the buyer is constantly incorrect. Its like purchasing a 200$ automobile that you can\'t do repairs nor upgrades to since replacement components do not exist. While Antec's consumer service leaves alot to be desired the item itself met all expectations and Newegg had performed all inside its energy to see that I was pleased with my buy. Maybe in 2011 when Antec releases their next gathering of cases they will start out selling replacement parts such as screws.

Big case. Totally modular. You can swap the Motherboard and PSU to be top rated or bottom. All drives can mount/open forward or sideways. A pal stated dont get the LED light stuff mainly because your case will look like a circus bigtop and it'll be annoying. I assume the lighting is subtle and nice (They're LEDS persons, not flood lights).Started this thing up right after getting almost everything place with each other and I loved it. It's pretty quiet even with six fans running ƕ on case and CPU cooler). Directions recommend that if your PSU has a fan on the bottom (mine does) then it should be mounted at the best of the case (I did so). If you do that, the USB 3. cable that has a distinct port thru the back of the case (To plug it into a rear USB three. slot on the MB) wont attain. *shrug* I'm impressed.Antec Lanboy i7 2600KCooler Master Hyper 212ASRock P67 PRO3 (B3)CORSAIR Enthusiast Series CMPSU-650TX 650W Kingston HyperX 16GB DDR3 1600 Ɣ x 4GB)

-Modular-Light-Good cooling (I think) Somewhat inexpensive side panels. The paint on mine had negative spots on one of the prime metal supports. I've really had 3 different instances. On the 1st a single a single of the vertical doors would catch on one particular of the screws and mark up the door. The second 1 had the paint concern. I got a 3rd and this time yellow and all is effectively except the 2 front fans had fallen out through shipping and 1 of then had a broken support. I glued and it appears to be ok. Manufacturer Response:Thanks for taking the time to create this overview. We're extremely sorry to hear about your experiences with the LanBoy air. Pretty to look at, great accessibility, and nice engineering touches; i.e. tool box, “ahh there’s the hardware!”, PSU drawer, and, no doubt, keeps points quite cool. I really like looking at it! Amazingly quiet. Mine came with a dent in the upper fr. fan case grill. Didn’t notice the distortion till built. *sigh*. Documentation is a bit weak. The doors rattle a bit,( I repair). Toolbox calls for a tool…so it’s a “why bother”. Fans are fairly, but, not avail on this web site close to as I can tell, and cost half their price to ship from mfg. (bummer). Mine blow in…I believed they blew out. (where’d I see a video?) …flip them around and shed some light effect. (unless you stand inside…but it’s crowded in there). Careful!... if flipped, there’s only two fan mount points (diagonal), and are delicate. Over torque a screw, and they snap off; leaves one particular screw in spot to hold fan…or fix it...not so uncomplicated. Nonetheless…nice perform overall. Worthy of each egg. Would enjoy to see a little greater supplying of spares, at least the right fans, at point of sale. (to fill this case with fans would be cool ..."Hey Bob! My Pc is levitating!"...but would cost twice as a lot as the price of the case! I don't know why they couldn't just injection mold these fan mounts in four locations...then just use two+ diagonals of choice. The distance involving the SSD Cable input and the frame crossmember could have been superior thought out. Cable pressure is unavoidable right here, unless standoffs are fabricated to elevate the SSD drive.

Lots of areaSeems to cool effectivelyTends to make a very good nightlight and noisemakerLooks goodOn the motherboard tray there is a window that exposes the back of the CPU fan, hence creating it easier to install heatsinks that make use of a component that goes on the back side of the motherboard Motherboard appears to bow downward a tiny bit - GTX 260 was a little on the tougher side mainly because I had to push on the back of the motherboard tray to get the screwholes to align appropriately, although that might just be my graphics cardNot really a con, but what's the point of minimizing hdd noise by suspending them in midair employing a rubber rig if the fans on the outdoors make roughly the exact same quantity of noise?Complete lack of chassis-mounted speaker (this bugs me so substantially I'm going to purchase one particular and mount it) Overall, I like it. It's not something I'd like to set up in each and every day, but unless you get really unlucky, that must be some thing you only have to do when you upgrade (if you're like me, that's every 3-four years). I switched from a Sonata II (still love it, and will be reusing it when my new comp is finished to case the old a single) and it's so good to really be capable to fit my hand into the case to hook up the front panel simply.

I appreciate this case. I just appreciate this case. It is the finest case I have ever owned and built a rig with. I spent a entire day just playing with various configs and had a blast. It is Nicely made in spite of what some have said. The anodized blue frame is just incredibly higher quality and the mesh is really well performed. It cools amazing with all the fans pointed in and no dust at all soon after 2 weeks. Pointing the fans all in was a tiny weird for me but just do it, it functions.-I use 9 fans and it is a cooling machine-Power provide up or down! I went up....appreciate it.-Massive adequate for my GTX 590 devoid of challenge-The floating HD mounts are no gimmick, they are Nice.-REMOVABLE MOTHERBOARD IS Basically PRICELESS-Switches are all higher good quality-floating HD thingees are really cool as is the SSD tray at the bottom at present housing my 240gb Vertex 3. I guess perhaps price a small, but I would spend it again for this case in a second. It is Incredibly effectively engineered. The USB 3. is a pass by means of that you are suppose to run via the case and plug into the back of the mb's three. port. This is obviously a workaround for Antec......BUT.....study my other thoughts. The front USB three. pass by way of operates when you plug it into the back BUT....I have a far better answer if you have an Asus P8P67 DELUXE mb. Has to be the Deluxe...The Deluxe comes with a floppy size USB three. box that is suppose to go in the front of the case. I just mounted it in 1 of the "Floating" HD spaces and then plugged the front of case USB three. cable into that internally. It leaves the back I/O three. wide open and you hide the cable. It works best :)A single final issue, the bottom of the case is component mesh, I pulled the case feet off and bought Antec's case wheels which raises the case up off the carpet a excellent 3"'s. The wheels are only like ฮ bucks and the airflow gained from the bottom up is wonderful.I honestly can see myself making use of this case for 10 years. NO Much more Obtaining TO LEAVE THE DOOR OFF MY CASE!!!

I’ve constructed my house rig ever because the 386SX days. This is rather merely the finest case I’ve ever owned.-Lightweight yet “rugged”. I was concerned with durability considering that the case is mostly a mesh enclosure. This concern rapidly went away. It’s light but built like a tank-The highlight of this case is that it’s just so OPEN inside. Generally you have to deal with your obnoxiously extended video card (Radeon 5870) butting up against tough drive enclosures or developing wiring problems, not a difficulty with this case-Tons of area so cable management is a breeze-I migrated from an Antec 902 and this case is surprisingly a lot more quiet even with the open chassis design-The “floating drives” are not a gimmick. Drives are very easily mounted in any path you want, and you can add 1 in seconds. Lots of space for RAIDS-Appears cool. Seriously.-Crazy quantity of fan mounts-I put my WoW authenticator in the cool toolbox (never will be lost once again) -I’m utilised to possessing a prime fan (since I had the 902 previously). Overall not a big deal given that the entire case is ventilated AND if I actually want it…yep..there’s a mount point for it. This case is brilliant in that it’s innovation through simplification. The largest thing is that it really reveals how a lot material (and space) is wasted on other “standard” case styles. Cable management is quite easy and the quantity of drives you can match in it is staggering for a case of its size. This isn’t even mentioning the cooling element that possessing your entire chassis “open air” brings to the table. Overall I consider this chassis will be copied by other vendors going forward. I for one particular do not consider I will be capable to go back to a common “walled” chassis ever once more following migrating to this case. I can recommend this case with no hesitation whatsoever and will be performing so to my good friends and fellow enthusiasts.

You will need a manual to place this collectively appropriately.Didn't come with the manual so you want to go back and forth to another Pc in the course of the set up.Lots of little/non standard screws. Had to eliminate the fans on the side panel to just match my Scythe SCMG-2100 CPU cooler.Fits my GTX295.It's like the erector set of computer situations.

Entirely modular, set up to have suburb cable routing! Cooling potential is unlimited, (if your a case mod-er.) No screws for any of my drives, had to search the residence and my scrounge for a handful of hours attempting to mix match screws to place in two really hard drives and a CD-Rom drive. Came with abundant hangers even though. For 200 dollars a few more fans, and a box for assorted screws would be genuinely wonderful! Manufacturer Response:At the bottom of the front of the case is a plastic tool box filled with screws. We're working on documenting this greater as it's some thing that's brought up fairly regularly!

But will be additional affordable to those that are attempting realize the stability of a interacting elements with all points regarded as.Determine, what you can do or can't with this case, and then let us know what will be the subsequent step to comfort layout. To these that are saying, that this is the paradise for a dust. And the mesh design will make it more like a vacuum cleaner bag.I would say, no matter what. Any electronics device that uses electricity absorbs dust. And there is nothing to cease that.Period. Unless you are not as well lazy to blow it away from time to time. No doubt that to mod this case is a grate manner for trendy room.

Fantastic case it is very easy to use and location all the items that I want to place into my case. The blue glow looks good. You can feel the cold air pouring out of this case and all my fans are running on the low setting and even with the fans on higher it is not loud at all. None The only thing that I would have like to see in this case had been tiny slots inside the case to hook up some zip ties for wire management. It is not a con but you do have to assume about your layout to get your wire seeking fantastic. i think that additions of zip tie slots inside the case would repair any wire management issues but it does not take away any eggs. This is a excellent case and worth the money.

Tons of space, appears amazing, keeps the case cool, a extremely nicely believed out case. A lot of screws to open up the case. It would be good if it wasn't 6 screws to get to my mobo but what ever, no eggs taken away as I truly shouldn't need to open it up that significantly. Also, no slot to set up a 3.five" card reader. This sucks as my gf is a photojournalist and rather than install a card reader I now have a USB card reader hanging off of the front of my rig all the time. This is so close to taking an egg off it is scary. Nonetheless, all round this case is amazing. Quite lights and fans. My nephew came more than and was looking at it like it was some cool vehicle or some thing lol.

When they say modular, they imply it! Setup was a breeze and exciting to boot! Fans are quiet and the blue LEDs add nice ambiance to the box all round. Lightweight and simple to carry to Lan Parties. I want the top rated panel wasnt produced of the smoked plastic as that is where a radiator for aftermarket water cooling solutions mount. Was worried I would break the plastic in the course of installation. Didn't though, so no worries! If you are creating a new lan rig and want to turn some heads even though which includes all your cooling and efficiency gear, this beast is for you. Also saves your back some pain! :D

Anything the maker claims. The case is roomy, effortless to operate with and in and to configure for individual wants. Great air flow; great cable management. Even although I rated 5 eggs, I did have the folllowing issuesɅ. As a prior reviewer noted, I installed a radeon 5970 card and the power inputs for the card had been situated correct under a cross brace support that created it quite hard to plug in the energy cablestwo. No 3.five to 5.25 adapter. Most card readers are in 3.5 format. This case has no way to install such a device. Be ready to purchase an adapter if you wish to set up such a devicethree. No case speaker. This may well appear like a small thing, but, I'm old school and I like to hear that beep that says the POST has completed. As soon as again, be ready to present your personal if this is a function you want I feel Antec has hit a home run with this case. Attractive and simple to function with and in. Modular as claimed.Side covers have holes for mounting additional 120mm fans. On the other hand, they are not standard sized holes. Ive scoured the earth for comparable screws and came up empty handed, ended up improvising...The removable mobo mount was incredibly handy. If you are dead set on getting this, Acquire SCREWS WITH IT! Youll need to have three mounting screws for the mobo. four Screws per hdd, and 4 per five.25 slot. The thumb twist screws will NOT operate for these lame shock mounts... More 120mm fan mounts for best will need lengthy (longer than std length) typical screws, side panel's need some custom super thin screw gl discovering it. Other than the frame, the motherboard mount, the bottom grates, and the rear panel every little thing is produced of Low-cost plastic.Comes with NO screws. Initial case (of Quite a few) that ive bought that does not come with screws to mount the motherboard or anything else (only came with 6 mobo mounting screws for micro, want 9 total for atx). No screws for hdds' or anything.Cables for the leading panel stick out internally above the top most five.25 so considerably that you can not fit a common sized cd/dvd/Bray drive. Minimizing the three five.25 down to 2 usable slots.HDD's are mounted via shock scraps of plastic, with cords that will no doubt crack and at some point snap after time. Really feel very, Incredibly cheap. And whats worse, they appear to be custom, great luck acquiring replacements! No concept what Antec believes justifies the cost of this case. The modularity defineitly does not warrent it. Probably the five inlcuded 120mm fans that jacked the price up. Ive got a ๠ and 贶(-ุ for included psu=贎) instances sitting subsequent to me, each of which are created of sturdy aluminum and are the exact same size at this lanboy. Nevertheless the lanboy expense far more and is extremely apparently made of low cost plastic. Also the box mentions some kind of included tool kit. I did not get one particular... Likely had the missing screws in it...Moreover, newegg shipped this to me, in the actual retailer display box (instead of putting it in a shipping box). Any kid could have noticed the giant laptop or computer situation sitting on my front porch... Not to mention the loads of apparent kicking the uninsulated box took during shipping.Ended up producing many trips to nearby pc hardware shops to get surprise missing products.I really wish these side panels and the leading and front plates were produced of metal instead of low cost plastic. Not space efficient. As well open for me, im terrified a paper clip will fall into the situation.I am really disappointed.

Outstanding style of good air flow. Sound is minimal if the suitable more fans are bought to go with the case. The suspended difficult drive design tends to make for quick and easy adjustments, additions and subtractions of HDD. The energy supply module will allow for easy removal. The handles to make for easy transport and the reality the fold down preserve them out of the way. Uncomplicated access to the drive region. Not as modular as the video advertised. The side panels are solid plastic units that cannot be rearranged. This was a difficulty when I added the further case fans as properly as a ZALMAN CNPS9900MAX-R 135mm Lengthy life bearing CPU Cooler Red LED. Simply because the side wasn't modular, the situation fans and the CPU fan had been touching, preventing the side from being closed appropriately. My remedy was to reduce the thin horizontal mesh section of the side off, and shift it to the best. Now if all of the panels on the side were individually attached with a easy spring loaded stick and twist style, this would a single step closer to getting as modular as advertised. The front of the case is also not as modular as advertised. If I wanted to transform the direction my drives are facing, as it is now, I would have to continuously open the swinging side panel door. Now if the swinging side panel could be moved to the front and the front panel to the side, once again this would make it much much more modular.
