very frustrating cannot use farther than 3 feet from receiver even with fresh batteries. have to repeatedly press the same buttons several times for it to register. mouse jumps all over the place. this is the single most disappointing purchase I have made in a very long time. even writing this post is a chore for my patients. missing keystrokes aplenty. |
Purchased as a replacement to a Logitech DiNovo system that had served me well for an HTPC. The lapboard is relatively easy to type on, and does sit well on the lap. The issue is connectivity via direct USB port connection. This resulted in inconsistent key presses and horrible mouse lag.I sent an email through their site, and received a suggestion to move the dongle away from my PC via USB cable, and to use fresh batteries. This has resulted in good connectivity and consistent performance.They get 2 extra stars for a timely response, and a solution, but lose 1 for poor receiver isolation, and not including an extension in the box.I would recommend, but pick up the extension before you leave the store.
