I was surprised at how well these did perform. I usually use Taiyo Yuden for all of my burning needs because they are sooo good. but these have performed very well- and still havent made a coaster out of the whole 50 pack. |

I guess you get what you pay for. These were one of the cheapest packs of lightscribe dvd's you can get. It seems like its a hit or miss when it comes to getting working discs. From my spindle of 50, literary counted 5 perfect lightscribed discs. I ended up with 4 half lightscribed disc and the rest, poopoo. My dvd lightsrcibe burner didn't read the rest which would end up to be a total 41 poopoo discs. I went and got the Verbatim discs and right away it worked. In this case its better to pay the extra $$ and get something more reliable, it really sounds like its a hit or miss with this product. |

Sorry to say this, but I bought the LG spindle with a brand new Lite-On burner, and none of the DVD were recognized... At first I suspected the burner, then I went for HP and Verbatim disks, and they all worked... |

I experienced the same result as kzolady, antfarmer and jimmyOdesu. The finished product was very light and difficult to see. Another color than gold might be better next time. |

These discs are perfect, they show up vividly dark the first time, and no errors or coasters. Value and a good product -- for once!! |

I had no trouble burning an excellent dvd, but the lightscribe left something to be desired. I tried changing the contrast and brightness, and burning twice, without much success. The lightscribe printing is very faint. The central hub takes up quite a bit of the disc. The color is just ugly. In fact it is so ugly even if it burned well, it would still not be attractive at all. Can anyone tell me if the colors of all of the lightscribe discs are that bad? |

I had the same experience as antfarmer, the lightscribe printing is very dim. I haven't purchased any other brands as yet, so I have no way of telling how this compares with others. At that time I will rewrite this review. |

The contrast/darkness of the LG disks isn't as good as the verbatim Lightscribe disks. I have to burn the label twice to get it dark enough to read well. It just looks too faint and washed out. |
