This is a great and needed items to use with newer PSU that uses 24 pins power. I had an older board with only 20 pins. I could not use my new PSU (the older one blowed). For 10$ I kept my board and used it with the new PSU. This review was modfied by poster @ 07-03-06 05:34 AM |

Cons: Most newer 24-pin power supplies can support both 24 and 20-pin mainboards, which obviates the need for this product.
Pros: Does its job well. Needed when you have a power supply that only supports 24-pin motherboards. Comment:
Very useful to have around in case your PSU doesn't support 20 pin motherboards. However, most modern PSUs support both 24 and 20-pin boards (e.g.: Antec). |

Well it does what its supposed to do. I have a spare Antec 450W Power supply that I use for testing purpose on friends and clients computers. Its have a 24pin connector and it was impossible to use it on many computer. Now It work. |

If you buy a new 24pin PS, and you have an older (20 pin) mobo. You NEED one of these. For $10 it does what it says it will do. |
I got a 500w PS for testing computers power, when there PS blows, but my PS had only 24pin P1 so i needed a adapter for older computers, this thing did the trick and works great.
