I bought this on sale and found that there is a huge difference between $199 and $299. The cheaper being a BENQ monitor which is almost the same size but simply can't compete when faced with this samsung. I absolutely love this screen as it is a perfect size for most desks, provides great input selection and looks great to boot. Buy it you won't be disappointed. |

So, bought one on sale last week after my 21" Gateway went poof.From store to home to connect to OMG took less than 30 minutes. Never looked at the manual, so it took some time to tweak to my liking. It IS super bright out of the box, but as others have said, that can be easily managed by using the settings. Magicolour does help. MWII never looked so good.Four hours later I was back at the store buying another one. Sadly, it was not so that I could run dual monitor but for another family member. So, for the sake of one review, feedback from two very happy users. One is a heavy gamer and programmer, the other just me. This monitor is awesome and a beauty to look at too.It makes you want to play all day and all night, and that is a good thing.Highly recommended! |

This monitor looks amazing, i just love having a monitor that every time i walk into the room i can smile all over again from it.Takes a while to figure out how to set the monitor. When it comes it is VERY bright, i have never seen a monitor so bright and painful on the eyes. Even when i set brightness to 0 it was still way too bright for me.Luckily it has a feature called MagicColor and that fixed pretty much everything, now the picture is amazing and the text is so sharp.I would also like to point out that NCIX and also Samsung claims they only give 1 year warranty, however the box of the XL2370 says 3 years and warranty card inside says 3 years so i bought 2 of these because if something happens Samsung will have to honor the 3 years as was written on the box. |

My 24" Samsung 2493 HM LCD blew (in the repair shop). So in the meantime I bought this on sale and am very happy with the purchase. Gives off no heat while 24" get pretty warm. Picture quality is excellent for movies, gaming, etc. Easy on the eyes. Highly recommended. |

Ignore the hype behind IPS monitors---a well-designed TN LED like this one is a much better monitor for a much better value. Viewing angle and color clarity are not problems at all. Super-vivid color and contrast. The case is gorgeous and incredibly thin. Make sure you input via DVI-D and not HDMI if connecting to a computer. Absolutely would buy this monitor again and would recommend it to just about everyone. |

Great monitor overall, the only notable difference of course between this and a P2370 is the LED backlight. Makes for a very clean all-black screen and is especially noticeable when watching 2:35:1 or 4:3 movies or shows, as the letterboxing/pillarboxing does not yield any brightness gradients, known as bleeding as you see with conventional backlighting.The only real issue I have with the monitor is limited to expansion. As its a TN screen, differences in colour between monitors is apparent. But, I suppose, that's why Samsung sells cPVA monitors as well.4.5 Stars. |
I found the quality on this thing to be amazing for the price. If you want better quality, upgrade to an IPS panel monitor. The monitor looked worse when I had the HDMI connection, but improved with the DVI. I can't say why but it might be a SAMSUNG/ATI 4350 issue.
