I found this to be a great monitor except for the touchscreen buttons. They're hard to see and can be annoying for some. You have to be accustomed. The other issue is that the picture quality was terrible via HDMI until I connected it via DVI. I can't say why, but it definitely affected the quality. |

Great looking monitor, even when it's turned off. The touch sensitive buttons on front take a bit of getting used to, but once you are - it's a breeze to operate. Excellent product for the price. |

- Slight bleeding, but nothing noticable and no worse than my other 5 LCD products (4 of them Samsung)- The sticky film they place to protect the glossy cabinet left some residue that I had a crap of a time trying to wash off (and still some left on it). I don't know if it is Samsung's fault or NCIX/Puralator for leaving the LCD monitor in a hot room to let the film bake on.

I purchased this sexy thing to replace my former 2.5 year-old Samsung that started to have power-on issues (capicators dying - hopefully the replacement capicators I ordered will fix it so I can have dual monitors!) Fortunately this was the only time a Samsung LCD product has failed on me, so I had no second guessing about this purchase.Four stars for the protection film that left residue on the cabinet, otherwise it would be five. |

First off, I have this monitor paired up with a Radeon 5850.After doing a bit of research, I settled on this monitor for it's price/performance ratio as an upgrade from my old Acer 19 inch 5:4 LCD that's served me well for so many years. I also wanted an HDMI port so I could hook up my Xbox, and a fast response time for gaming.I cannot believe the difference in picture quality - in Batman: Arkham Asylum - I can see details that weren't there before, like the tear in Batman's cape! Fear 2 - already freaky but now its SCARY AS HELL!Speaking of tearing, there is a LOT LESS of it vertically, thanks to the much quicker response time of this monitor (as long as you have your games capped at 60 FPS. Seriously, who wants to run h 120 FPS? It makes zilch of a difference). I'm also running all my games at the max resolution for this monitor (1920 x 1080).This monitor also looks very stylish, though tbh I was more interested in the picture quality / response time.As the owner of a 40 inch Samsung LCD TV which is nearing. 3 years old (720p but still looks like a hot damn with HDMI), I have to say I've been very satisfied with their products in the past as an excellent bang for your buck. This monitor fits that category perfectly!The only quirks I have with this model is the backlight bleeding (easily fixable by turning the brightness and contrast WAY down) and the external power brick. This is the only thing preventing it from getting a 5-star review. For 200 bucks, it's a great monitor! |
