Cons: None

Pros: - Sharp picture- Easily mountable
Comment:
I have this monitor mounted on a LCD arm at the back of my desk and I'm very satisfied with it! Mounting was a breeze since all parts (and adapters for non-standard bolt patterns) were included. Set it up as second monitor in a dual screen config and have been very happy with it so far.

Cons: Touchscreen controls when playing with it too rapidly. At times it simply does not respond to any touches for a period. Inaccurate description (has 50,000:1 dynamic contrast not 20,000) - also differs from the one on Samsung's site which said it had height adjustment/tilt/swivel; mine was a basic stand.

Pros: Good image. No dead/stuck pixels. Lovely design. Great price (189.99). Plug and play, didn't need the drivers/software.
Comment:
Upgraded from 17" CRT and am pretty satisfied with the image although it's missing some features other monitor stands has. It also seems to have some phase/clock issues when scrolling by a finely interweaved black/white picture (from some thorough nit-picky testing). Most the cons are pretty irrelevant to most people (me included) which is why my rating is still high. I just personally put it through a series of LCD tests I googled to see how "capable" it was.

Cons: Odd resolution (2048x1152) doesn't work on startup with my motherboard and linux, however it can be reset very easily in the display controls; no HDMI input if you care about that (I use DVI so it doesn't matter to me)

Pros: Very high resolution; touchscreen controls; good stand; works fine with DVD playback of 16:10 material (HDTV); it's a samsung
Comment:
I had space constraints, my entire computer is in a sort of cabinet and the absolute biggest monitor it can fit is a 23" (there is maybe 1/2 cm to spare on each side). So I was looking for a widescreen 23" at the best possible resolution. 1920x1080 seems to be standard for a lot of monitors this size so you're getting quite a lot more pixels in the same 16:9 size. Obviously this is a huge upgrade from my 19" 4:3 monitor I had previously been using.I have had many a Samsung item and the build quality is always excellent. I have NEVER had a dead pixel on a Samsung television or monitor. Although they are "brand name" the sale prices are usually competitive with the more budget models from Taiwanese companies (BenQ, Acer). For the price (~$200 on one of the weekend sales) I am very satisfied.

Cons: The only issue that I have is the monitor base doesn't tilt as far down as I want it to. This just makes me sit up straight instead of slouching.

Pros: Excellent! The buttons are sleek and discreet while the border is black and isn't annoying at all. After using this product I am unable to go back to using any kind of non-widescreen resolution. This is just excellent!
Comment:
About 14% more pixels than the 1920x1080 modelsGreat color/contrast when viewed on-axis -- better than $500+ LCDs of a few years ago.Low power consumption - I measured 21W at the brightness level I use (and measured 44W at the "out of box" maximum brightness). No dead pixels

Cons: First unit died in 5min (replacement ok)

Pros: Price, strong stand
Comment:
Good image quality for a TN panel, resolution a bit weird but I got used to it. Nice pixel density!! Too bad there isn't a 24" version if this monitor. Looking forward to it!

Cons: The touchpanel type front panel controls are a bit touchy

Pros: Bright, excellent colours, gorgeous display
Comment:
Just picked up a couple of these bad boys for dual monitoss on my main computer....absolutely sweet displays for the price. 16x9 aspect ratio will take a bit to get used to since I was used to Acer AL2216 dual screens 16x10 but that's a small issue. The larger concern is the front panel controls being touchpad style or pressure sensitive, they are touchy but you can pretty much learn how to make it all work. Oh and 2048x1152 looks really nice.In summary, I'd recommend this monitor to anyone wanting a big boost in desktop real estate they work well, display things nicely and look sweet to boot.

Cons: Only DVI and VGA input. Touch controls difficult to use. Image not quite consistent between monitors. No height adjustment. Odd resolution - could not find a DVI KVM switch for it yet and the VGA image is poor compared to DVI.

Pros: Highest resolution available except 30" displays.Great for users looking for the largest desktop space. Very crisp, easy to read, viewing angle is good despite many reviews I read before. Good price
Comment:
I bought 2 of these in when in sale for $204 plus taxes.I use them to replace one 275T which is one of the best displays on the market, but I needed more space on my desktop and could not afford to spend another 900 for a monitor. The image quality is lower overall compared to the 275T, but not too much. Black level very good and no noticeable leaks on edges. Viewing angle is a bit more restrictive but also not an issue. Obvious only when you stand up and look from above. With 2 of these the desktop space is huge - 4096x1152 - more than dual link. Even a single one has more pixels than a 1920x1200.I use a ton of windows opened at the same time, and desktop space is crucial for me. These 2 displays are doing a very good job. There is a slight difference in hue and brightness between the 2 monitors at the same settings so they are not quite consistent, but easy to compensate. As a warning - the height of these displays is comparable to a 17" display and the width to a 24", so I think it is smaller in total surface than a 22" so do not expect something big.Overall I consider it a very good investment and I recommend it for those looking for more desktop space, crisp image, easily readable text for a good price. Cons: No HDMI outputOnly gave a single-link DVI cable and not a dual-link dvi cable.

Pros: Very easy to set-up/install!Aesthetically pleasing (Glossy finish) Extra pixels is a plus!
Comment:
Just bought the monitor for a new rig I'm building and I have to say that I'm impressed. I set it up in less than 20 mins and the picture quality is great. Upgrading from a 17". I have to say that the extra pixels is a plus. I was planning to make this a media center as well but made it a tad harder because it had no hdmi output. So I needed to buy a DVI-HDMI adapter to make it work. Noticed also that the free cable it came with was only a single-link dvi cable. Can't complain about free stuff though! Haha!Overall, a very satisfied customer. :)

Cons: Merely "decent" screen quality

Pros: High resolution, great value
Comment:
The 2048x1152 resolution is a little unusual, but it means you get extra pixels for way less money. Picked this up on sale for $210 two weeks ago, very pleased with it. No height adjustment or tilt, it just swivels, and only has one DVI and one D-SUB connector, but it does a fine job, and the price was great.

Cons: New drivers for analog connection?

Pros: Good overall monitor!
Comment:
Very easy to set up and update  monitor drivers. However, could not find drivers for analog connection to optimize resolution. Hope Samsung will fix this as it's a new monitor in 2009!
