Samsung always do good monitor for excellent price. Im disappointed they dont add DVI cable with the monitor... I dont know why they decide to not add this cable. Picture quality are very nice, recommand this monitor. |

Purhase this SyncMaster SA300 (230$) to replace my SyncMaster 206bw. My first impression was the blue base of the white. May be normal when changing backlit technology... In the box was the monitor feet in 2 parts, external power supply, power connector, DVI Cable, instructions & installation CD. The monitor is working well but control are touch sensitive and are sometimes not responding very well. |

Cons: The stand is terrible!

The picture quality of this monitor is OK, but I find that it is totally unstable on its mount and even the slightest vibration of typing near it makes the screen shake on the stock monitor stand... If anyone else happens to place something on the desk near the monitor, it wobbles. If I had known about the instability I would not have purchased this monitor, even though I cannot recommend Samsung monitors enough. Technically they are very good. |

The combination of LED and TN makes it a media viewing portal, not one for creating. If you intend on using this for Digital Painting or the likes, steer clear. Find an IPS. If you intend on gaming and watching stuff. This is nice, it saturates everything splendidly. gl |

Value for price on this monitor.I expected a tilt function and a DVI cable. This is the first Samsung monitor I purchased that didn't come with a DVI cable.Monitor control buttons a little fussy.Hope this LED monitor lasts a little longer than the non LED monitors, as I have had 2 older monitors fail shortly after warranty.(My son has to heat his 4 year old Samsung with a hair dryer before it starts.). |

Cons: - not a big deal but cables attach at 90 degree angle to back of monitor, I prefer the old downward-facing method, but it doesn't really affect anything unless you're looking to wall mount

Beautiful picture. Will be replacing my old W2242 LG as primary display. Didn't have a single dead/stuck pixel. I've never owned a Samsung display before, but always heard they were quality products. I would definitely purchase again. |
Firstly, the mount is not a really big issue. You should adjust your view at the monitor with your computer chair, It's more ergonomic that way.There is a slight problem I have with the buttons to adjust brightness, switch source etc. The buttons are motion sensing so if you have something underneath them (say a volume control knob or something like that) you may accidentally activate one of the switches if your hand gets too close. It's really not a big deal, but just thought you should know about it
